Barack will, respectfully, keep and put John McCain back in the 20th century. It's man to man now!

The RNC and McCain's folks don't have a clue as to what they are about to go up against. Just know that Barack is not going to play your game(s). And because you will want to apply the typical, you will loose.

Democrats are going to SQUASH the Republicans this time around. I feel confident to say that, on the whole, Americans are not going to put another Republican in the oval office certainly not immediately following George Dubya.

Most Americans want the "war" in Iraq to end now and personally, I don't care if Al-Kiada would see as surrender. Who gives a damn what Al-Kiada thinks? Nobody but war-mongers.

McCain is an old-fashioned, GOP, racist, sexist, puppet of the elite. He will go down in history as the only head of state that did not allow the recognition of a holiday for Martin Luther King, Jr. Up until he began his Presidential campaign, he never apologized and continued to hide behind the bullsh*t excuse that the "Arizona state budget couldn't afford to recognize the holiday". Talk about political expediency....!!!!!

His voting record over the past 24months has matched President Bush's, and continues to agree w/ his Iraq policies. THERE'S NO CHANGE WITH THIS MAN!!

And, for you HRC supporters who are threatening to vote McC, just remember his power to appoint Supreme Court justices. Throw your reproductive rights out the window, ladies. If you still can't find it in your hearts to vote for Obama, at least vote for the 2nd best......LIBERTARIAN PARTY. http://www.lp.org/

gET UR FACTS STRAIGHT -While in Memphis this last celebration to honor MLK McCain did say he was wrong. If the black people where no so busy yelling and disrepecting him maybe you could have heard that. you know - McCain spoke right after Obama??????McCain is the one in a racist church for 20 years. Has a wife who is not proud of her country, has no experience? Just like all the other O supporters you are clueless. You better get this right - I am 50 years olds as is many Hillary supporters over 40 - what the heck do we care about abortion or reproduction,????? I don't care - they got the am after pill now as well. Serious - oh smart O fan - Look up the facts or go work for Vanity Fair - I'm sure they'll be happy to have another idiot on the payroll.

MCCAIN BETTER HAVE HIS OXYGEN READY FOR DAT DEBATE

      • Posted By: Kboogie @ 06/04/2008 1:10:25 PM

You stupid MORON. Read the ENTIRE post before you attempt to respond. I clearly stated, "up until he ran for President, he didn't apologize". And, the apology was "politcally expedient". GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, you old WRINKLED *** of a witch. YOU Republican drone. You're judging Obama based on what others said/did. I'm judging McC based on what HE did. Whether you're planning to spit anymore rugrats out of that old, crusty snatch of yours, is NOT the point. To have a politician control the reproductive rights of ANY woman is unconstitutional. So, oh intelligent GOP wench, look up your facts, and only respond to the posts that you can understand. Otherwise, you prove yourself to be an idiot, so anxious to make a point, you end up embarassing yourself. With all due respect, of course.

I LOVE MCCAIN - His speech was funny and I loved his snickers when he said "That's change?" McCain is still cool. He may be older - but he is wiser, experienced and honest. The Obama people are still in denial about Hillary. Without her Obama can win- The only thing he got was superdel rescuing him and they can only vote once in the election. Hillary would be crazy to take VP. She show show the "Good Ol Boy" club not to mess women, seniors and hard working white people.

    • Posted By: Kboogie @ 06/04/2008 1:34:28 PM

She WON'T have a chance to reject the VP spot. It'll NEVER be offered. I can't wait until an Obama vs McC debate. McC has no chance going against Obama in a public forum. It'll emphasize the old, shriveled, decrepit politician that he really is.

Every Repub who's unsatisfied w/ you're only choice, vote LIBERTARIAN!!!!!!!

Obama has won and now he needs to bridge the divide between his supporters and Hillary's supporters. Hillary Clinton will be key in convincing her voters to support Obama this fall. Obama needs to be very careful in how he handles Hillary. It was very clear tonight that Hillary is not yet ready to make nice. I think if you give Hillary a few days to cool down that she will be her usual reasonable self. A rest period will do both campaigns a world of good and after a good nights sleep I think everyone will be much more willing to roll up their sleves and begin the fall campaign. These two canidates have been on a rollercoaster ride for a long time and it is going to take them a little time to decompress. i can't wait to see the democrats come together and blow McCain out of the water in November. It's time to take the White House back!

    • Posted By: avidreader57 @ 06/04/2008 2:05:58 PM

Yes, Hillary has to take the lead and do her part to bring the party together. I Repubilcans have run amock in this country for too long. I did support Hilary initially, but it is clear to me that Obama is the front man. I only hope that he will get the backing and support of the House and the Senate, otherwise it will continue to be business as usual.
McCain is a veteran, but so what? he is a Bush clone, and I have not heard anything new from him. Obama may not have "experience", but what does that mean really. How do you prepare for the presidency anyway? I think he can win, but he will have to take off the gloves when he goes up against McBush. The Republicans play very dirty, and he will have to stay cool and stick to the issues that concern ALL OF US; gas prices, foreclosures, rising unemployment etc. and not allow personal attacks by the opponents to get the best of him. .

McCain is starting to sound a little bizarre. He wants debates without questions. Weird.

Wrong again, idiot!!! Once the polls closed on the last primary (Montana) last night. Obama ended the primary season w/ an official lead count: 18,107,710 48.1% - vs - 18,046,007 47.9% .

Every one of your posts is idiotic and elementary, and has no factual credibility. But, keep dirnking that purple Kool-Aid, it'll make your loss go down easier. MORON!!!!

A vote for McCain is NOT a vote for Hillary. A vote for McCain is a vote for Geo. W Bush.

This blogger, ObamaDrama, is not a Clintonite. They are a McCain supporter, trying to manipulate your mind.

Clintonites everywhere have to ask themselves some hard questions. I know that Obama has been their rival in the Democratic primary, but it pays to know who your real allies are. If you voted for Clinton because you believed in her policies, you would NEVER vote for McCain, whose political stand is OPPOSITE to Clinton's. Even if your don't like Obama or you are ticked off at the fact that Hillary didn't get the nomination, remember, it is not about who you like as much as it is about WHAT they will do in office. Obama's plans and politics are almost identical to Hillary's. Voting for McCain because you are upset that Clinton lost is like shooting yourself in the foot. Do your REALLY want four more years of a failed economy? Do you REALLY want the recession to become another Great Depression?

I am a Republican who decided to vote for Obama, partly because I think he is a great candidate, but even more so because I am very concerned about the economy. Early in the race when it wasn't certain who was going to win the Dem nomination, I used to say that if Hillary won I would vote for McCain. My reason for that was that I'm a Republican, also because I hated the Bill Clinton drama years, and I just couldn't warm up to Hilary's personality. But two months ago I realized that if Clinton gets the nomination, I would have to vote for her, even though I really don't like her, because voting for McCain would be so dangerous for our economy, which is on the brink of ruin.

I really respected Huckabee's morals and loved his personality, but when I thought it through, I couldn't see him as President, he just wasn't strong enough to tackle the problems facing us today. McCain is in the same boat. You may not like Obama, but you have to admit he ran a great campaign and has some serious chops as a politician. He can get the job done. Hillary could have too.

  • Posted By: Iamnotamused @ 06/04/2008 1:06:09 PM

For those that come to this board as Hillary supporters who won't vote for Obama- Why is it you complained to her about gas prices, food prices, the economy, global warming, health care, loss of jobs and the war in Iraq and because she didn't win, you claim to be going to vote for McCain? By BOTH of their admissions (Clinton and Obama) their policies and proposals on how to get them are VERY similar if not flat out the same. Yet, you would go and do a 180 on ALL the things that matter to you and vote for McCain because she didn't win. Talk about chopping off your nose...

If just ONE of you could tell me WHY without using the following criteria and it be legitmate then I will understand:

    1. Race
    2. Sexism
    3. Guilt by association (you know what I mean)
and my all time favorite because NO ONE that runs for POTUS has EVER had experience in being in that position...
    4. Experience.

I'm going to check back on this thread periodically throughout the day to see if I get a response.

    Thanks.

Ladies, speak up and send a message that experience is vital and gender bias is unacceptable. Donate and register to vote for Mccain today: http://www.johnmccain.com/Undecided/WhyMcCain.htm

Cowen, shame on you! You think that McCain is not sexist? What planet are you on?

McCain called his former wife a cu^t in public, then divorced her to marry a rich younger heiress.

A vote for McCain is NOT a vote for women's rights. A vote for McCain is a vote AGAINST Roe vs. Wade.

    • Posted By: Zig Zag @ 06/04/2008 10:13:47 AM

Me too! I can't wait to see women give up their reproductive rights, have their children killed in Iraq, and watch the remainder of our wilderness destroyed so that all you soccer moms can fill up your SUVs with cheap gas. You claim gender bias and then throw a hissy fit when you candidate doesn't win - hmm, maybe it is not bias, maybe it is just the truth,

      • Posted By: cowen123456 @ 06/04/2008 10:28:54 AM

One word for you to chew on "Mccain"

      • Posted By: Alvy @ 06/04/2008 12:15:49 PM

Absolutely true. These people all have one thing in common - anti-depressants.

      • Posted By: the_shelton @ 06/04/2008 11:57:22 AM

If you told your children to do what you are proclaiming, could you really tell them that that was the proper thing to do.

It hurts to not get what you want, but sometimes that is what happens in a Democracy. Just look, I got eight years of Bush from all the craziness that was going around. I don't know if you voted for him, but I was pretty mad about Gore.

You can't really think that that is the adult thing to do. Just think about how long the blacks had to sit at the back of the bus before their change came.

But burning down your house or shooting you kids isn't going to change the outcome. It is only going to add to your frustration.

Three speeches were given last night.

McCain said "I am not the same as Bush." He also said "I will make you safe, and you should be very, very afraid of the changes Obama is talking about, because Obama will make you unsafe." He SAYS he is different than Bush, and then pulls out the same worn and faded fear card, thinking we are stupid enough to fall for it again. He also set himself up as a "friend" of Hillary Clinton, in a way that was obviously pandering for the votes of her supporters.

Clinton talked about herself non-stop for her entire speech, sending up her victory in South Dakota, repeating her spurious claim of being ahead in the popular vote, and refusing to concede the race. She gave the kind of speech she would have given had she won the nomination, talking about what she plans to do for the country once she takes office. She barely mentioned Obama, completely avoided the fact that he had won the nomination, and tried to stir up the ire and anger of her supporters.

Obama took the stage and praised Clinton as an able politician and a tough fighter, who has devoted her life to helping the American people. He even thanked Hillary for making him a better candidate. And he made it clear that she would have a place in his cabinet working on health care. Beyond that, he gave a stirring speech about how great America is, and how we are going to solve our current problems and become the best nation we can be, returning to our status as leaders of the free world. He spoke of his admiration for Senator McCain, even as he disagreed with McCain's policies. He spoke warmly of his opponents, and never once talked about himself.

McCain tells you "You should be very afraid!"

Hillary says "It's all about me, me, me!"

Obama says "We all have something good to offer. Let's work together to change our nation for the better."

He has a history of verbally and physically assaulting Democrats and Republicans alike, and what other Republican senator would have reached across the aisle like he did in joining the Keating Five?

lay off on the koolaid. Mccain is a man of integrity, compassion, wisdom and experience. Its not about him deserving to be president. Its about the country deserving an experience veteran with high integrity to be president at this time in our history. Obama insist on pointing to past history to create fear for voters. Mccain's message is to drive forward changes that will make history! Obama excercises old political tactics plagued with a record highlighting decisions based on personal political ambition. Mccain's record showed a man who has held tightly to his integrity and principles to serve the people and not political affiliation. Obama has never reached across party line on any hard issues to make real changes for the people. Mccain has reached across party line again and again despite criticism from his own party. Obama's records and social circle has materialized to show a man who played on division in order to progress his own political ambition while running on a message of unity (aka, divide, conquer and play the uniter at the end). Mccain portrait himself as who he is...scars, warts, winkles, broken bones and a history of dedication to country that is as pure as it comes. Vote for integrity, compassion, kindness and experience and you'll get politicies that reflect those qualities. Votes for calculation, political tactics and fear and you'll get policies reflecting those thing. Wake up americans....rejoyce that this country has come a long way with race. Pray that gender bias is still too acceptable to be tolerated. And vote for integrity, wisdom, strenghth and compassion that will build a great foundation and play an awsome examples for leaders to come. Mccain 08

McCain speech was not impressive, guess the Republican party will have to do a lot of work to make their candidate more appealing.
People are all eager to hear how he plans to salvage the economy, reduce our reliance on foreign oil, restore our image in this world, make health care more available eic.
It is also important that votes know early from both parties who the VP canidates are going to be.

Plans to reduce our reliance on foreign oil - none
Plans to restore our image in this world - none
Plans to make health care more available - none

Barack Obama as President - priceless
