If Obama chooses Hillary he doing nothing except steping into a bad marriage. Not only will he have a nag he will also have to put up with Bill. The Clinton's are too power crazy to work as a teem. Everything has got to be their way or no way

He already has a nag. Michelle.
Are you the same person who posted above that Obama supporters pick on the Clintons?
Teri use your head more than a hat rack think before you speak put on your listening ears obama won the hag lost deal with it.
Regardless of whether or not she wants it, she won't be the VP choice. This is all media hype and Clinton exit strategists. No one in Obama's camp is even seriously considering her. I don't even buy this fake offer it to her theory.
I am a democrat and I will be voting for Obama in November but not without reservations. If Clinton is not on the ticket as VP, I think we will see another 4 years of Republican rule in the White House. Clinton supporters need to stop being such poor losers and Obama supporters need to stop being so arrogant or we will lose in November.
I agree with you 100%. Hillary and Barrock should most importantly join forces to win the presidency. They together would be a force to be reconned with and together have the votes to over take John McCain.
Clinton lost. When you lose you lose with grace and dignity; she did neither. When you lose you do not get to choos the restaurant where the winning team celebrates or the menu. When you lose you do not get to hold the winning team hostage in the areana while you ride around the stadium, top down. When you lose, you exit with your head held high knowing you did your best. You do not go out screaming at the referees for missing the call; screaming at your opponent because their fans were too loud; cursing the other team's uniform for being nicer than yours. No, you shake your opponents hand; you congratulate them on a hard fought victory and, if you have any character, you applaud them. If you do not, you became the surly sore loser who sets women's progress back 50 years because you are bascially crying because you lost the game. This is not a picture of grace under fire it is a picture of selfish self love.
I agree with you 100%. Hillary supporters don't see it that way. She lost a graceful exit a long time ago & still even up until last night, just refuses to go away. As a woman she looks very bad. Somehow Bill being a former President (not her being a senator), gives her the right to throw tantrums and have the Democratic party bow to her. I can't believe there are fools who would rather elect Bush III (McCain) and continue this horror of an economy driving our country further in the ground than vote for Obama. People get it together. If Hillary had won, I'd vote for her only because I definitely can't vote for McCain. Hillary supporters talk about how badly she's been treated. Give me a break! She mentioned assassination, has lied, and turned EVERY trick she could to hurt the Obama campaign. I don't know if he needs her as V.P. to collect those votes, but if he does he'll have an uphill battle all the way with her trying to undermine him in private & who wants that? Somehow the Clintons are being treated like royalty and are allowed to get away with more nonsense than I've ever seen in a campaign. They tried so hard to find something on Obama (not just by association) and couldn't and they are so angry & can't figure out how a man (especially a Black man) can be so clean, hold his head up, not stoop to their level, and throw dirt...afterall it's politics. I know his grandmother is proud of him. I certainly am. It proves you don't have to roll around in the mud to get the job done. He's also not afraid to change course and admit something isn't working if it isn't. He doens't pretend to be a political God who never makes a mistake. Bush's refusal to admit the war is a mistake is what's run our country in the ground. I pray for Obama because he has a tough choice and one that isn't totally his own in picking his V.P. due to the party pressing him. Would you want someone who referenced assassination as your V.P.? For those who won't vote for Obama, will vote for McCain or just won't vote at all since Hillary didn't win, you're cutting off your nose to spite your face & won't realize it until it's too late and our country (if it's possible) is even worse off than it is now!
r
AMEN!
I was in favor of at least offering Sen. Clinton the VP spot, simply because her supporters poured their hearts out for here, then there was the non-concession speech last night and I'm conflicted. I don't see how Sen. Obama can now offer her the VP spot while she's still running for President, but I do think her supporters deserve something substantial, perhaps something substantially more than Sen. Clinton. I don't know.
And what substance does osamabama offer??? The guy is a great speaker, but his words are hollow. He offers NO substance. He's a political LIGHTWEIGHT and he's going to be eaten alive by McCain. Look at it this way, dems, McCain is really a democrat so don't shed too many tears when osamabama loses in November.
Did you see McCain last night? What a joke! Is that the best he could do? The place he held speech hold more than 200 people. He looked like an old, old man trying to run for president. He is out of touch and more importantly, he admittedly knows NOTHING about running this economy.
What substance has McCain offered? Policy and strategy on running the nation doesn't just pop into your head over night. No individual has all the answers - Obama or McCain. Obama is inspiring people to change their thinking. McCain is an extension of failed Bush policy. Stay the course and we crash into the mountain. Take evasive manuevers and you may survive. I like McCain and his service to the country but he is not the man for the job.
His economic plan that gained praise from many economists. Last May Obama sponsored legislation to require divestment in Iran and McCain opposed it. Now he's (JM) talking about it like it was his idea. McCain wanted a gas tax holiday which economists and pundits alike said was a poor idea that would cause more damage than the meager amount of money it would put back into the pockets of citizens. McCain can't seem to keep the terrorists groups in the Middle East straight without Joe Leiberman whispering in his ear. McCain doesn't even support a good GI Bill that would allow soldiers to actually have a middle class standard of living.
Yeah, McCain is a Democrat, just like Jeffrey Dahmer was a vegetarian.
Sorry, not buying your line. Neither should any other Democrat. Don't fall for the "maverick" line from a guy who fully embraces Bush's failed policies. McBush does not even pretend to represent you.
I will not vote for Senator Obama and would not vote for a joint ticket. My criteria for president encompasses experience, a salient protector of our national security, one whom has not had former radical associations. Senator Clinton is the presidential aspirant befitting my expectations in taking charge of our country.
I am with you ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!
Look where career politicians have gotten this country so far- it's a mess. We need more of a business person in there to run this country. After all this is the largest corporation in the world. Quite frankly, I am sick the status quo. New pair of eyes and thinking outside the box is what this country needs.
Then your criteria has nothing to do with actual issues that directly effect your life. I'll just leave the former radical associations comment alone because it is total nonsense.
What if he is STRONGLY encouraged to offer her the VP spot? Can you say shotgun wedding?
so the dynasty dies hard and UGLY...after months of a despicable campaign that threw the "kitchen sink" full of slime at a GENTLEMAN who kept his arms down about Hugh and Tony Rodham, about Bill and his walk in closet of skelatons, about the campaign ending issues that lie hidden in her undisclosed tax returns.
After THAT she thinks she can hold the party hostage with an army of bitter shriekingshrews to extort the VP spot. NOT LIKELY...go on ladies, vote McCain, enjoy the death of Roe V Wade, win the fantasy battle and lose the REAL war...Im laughing AT you.
Anyone who thinks Obama or Hillary is worthy of being President is greatly deceived. Obama is a liar and deceiver - not a gentleman, and like Hillary, he will do what he has to in order to gain what he wants. He lied about being a Christian and rejected Christ as being essential to salvation - Muslim teachings are very difficult to get out from under, and I believe he is playing the church card to hide his true intentions for this country of "infidels." Hillary is just a flat out foul-mouthed, liar and has been proven to be so over and over behind her forced smile. McCain may not be what anyone wants either, but of the three evils I would be far more prepared to vote for him if for no other reason than to keep the two deceivers out of office.
Was a Hillary supporter, now it's Obama all the way!!!!!!
If obama hadn't won the nomination I would have voted for hillary. How can anyone in there right mind vote for JOHN MCCAIN?
I am a Clinton supporter and I have always felt experience is key to running a country. Obama to me is nothing but a car salesman , you can talk the talk but can you do the walk. This fall I will be voting split ticket due to the fact the nominee for the Democratic ticket is not experienced enough.
look back in history, some of our greatest presidents had little to no experience and truly some of our worst, like ran the biggest state in the country....i hope you change your mind...
Can you say Buchanan and Lincoln?
35 years (or however long that unholy union has been) of being married to a politician is experience? Hmm... My mom is a CPA and my dad owns a trucking company, so that means my dad should run for state treasurer based on his 46 years of experience?
Can you explain to me logically what experince Hillary has? - just one bill or piece of legislation she has championed through the Senate? - please do not insult me by listing things her HUSBAND has done. I understand if you do not support Obama but for once I would like to see someone justify just what experience Hillary has in her own right. Here entire campaign from findraising to direction is driven by Bill's people. If this makes her "qualified" then Barbara Bush is quaified.
McCain has flip flopped on all the important issues of the day taxes, Bush's agenda, torture, terrorism, the war on Iraq (not to mention he is too old to fly a plane or perform surgery - but wants the White House) so if you thing the world is better off with four more years of GOP hell and Hillary is "qualified" - then this country's best days are behind it.
If not the Vice President a cabinet post would be wonderful. She has a following among democrates that should not be ignored. They seem to be friends and they have alot of the same interests in helping turn this country around. After all, they are all democrates, if he surrounds himself with strong democrates, Joe Biden, Hilary, Edwards, maybe he can make a huge difference in the next four years and insure a democrate in the white house for awhile. After the mess Bush has made of things, they have alot of work todo.
Well stated. I do think that in his cabinet, if she would embrace his policies, Hillary could be very effective. And lets not forget Bill Clinton. While he is a bit unpopular now, abroad, he is well liked and respected.
The election has just been decided by idiots in the Democratic party. McCain will beat Obama hads down. The latter dos not have the experience, the women's vote, the working class. The only thing he has is the blacks, the students and the white elite - which is not enough to win the presidency. I for one, an independent will not vote this coming election. If Obama had immediately disengaged himself from the balck church and tha pastors immediately, I would have considered him.
Look at the picture of the smug little puss looking at Clinton. Last night, the news showed him walking up to a group of people. One thing was obvious, he had the old Huggy Bear swagger. I was waiting for Shaft to walk up any second. Must be the "1/2" black coming out.
Oh well, at least he won/stole a "historic" primary.
Or did he? Hills may not be done....
LMAO!
Nice looking man isn't he, H? Nothing wrong with a bit of a smug and Hubby Bear swagger if a man has confidence.
Pia - you don't know who Huggy Bear is do you?
LMAO!
A plush bear.
No Pia - check out Starsky and Hutch...
I'm looking forward to seeing a nice looking young family in the White House.
Huggy Bear walk? Is that all you have to focus on? Pull up dude!
dogteam - No, it's not the only thing, "dude". In the coming months you will see many, many, things that will sink Hussein. IF he even makes it to November.
H, give us a break! Obama didn't steal anything, he won the primary fairly. He played by the rules that Hillary's top man, DNC's Harold Ickes set in place. Ickes tried to change these rules to suit Hillary. How ironic.
What 's this about Shaft? I didn't think you were like that. I was wrong.
I don't care what "rules" the DNC have. If every vote counted, your guy wouldn't have won would he? They GAVE the man delegates. And neither one hit the ORIGINAL delegate number.
Also, I have worked with a hell of alot of blacks most of my life, and I haven't seen a black person walk like this since Huggy or Shaft. Judge me if you want, it was just an observation. Anyone who saw this clip would have thought the same thing.
H, Obama won the most delegates. If Hillary had received all of the delegates from Fla and Mich, she would still be behind. Let 's not even mention the popular vote myth because I don't want to fight with you. I don't like to hurt anyone when they are down. I am being totally sincere in saying this.
How is your brother lately?
I don't want to fight with you Pia - just feel like the Dems cheated 700,000 voters, but I don't really care, I am not one of them.
Bro is actually somewhat better, although he has treatment this P.M.
Thanks for asking.
Prior to last night, I was open to the possibility of HRC being on the ticket, but given her speech it's clear that everything is all about her. As I woman, I embarrassed for her. She lacks class and grace and any traits that would presidential. She has consistently acted like a spoil child. I would have supported either candidate in the beginning, but give her behavior I would have trouble supporting her even as VP. She is a very selfish person and I am disppointed at how many of her supporters don't open their eyes and see what kind of person she really is. It's all very sad.
McCain may not be the greatest candidate for the job,But Id rather have someone in there like him Then someone that wont even place his hand over his heart for OUR NATIONS ANTHEM! I hope McCain does get it because if Obama cant even salute our flag,How can he run our country?
Really, this is why we will see the swearing in of President Obama next January. Give me a break, are you serious with this comment? Does anyone actually believe that someone who isn't patriotic would try to run for president of a county they have no use for? Honestly, would an american citizen put their family through what a presidential candidate goes through if they didn't love their country. Here is a newsflash for you: Representative Tom Davis of Virginia has said that the old GOP playbook isn't going to work this year. So far in special elections it has gone down in flames and so have the Republican candidates, so please if you want to crtique policy, have at it. However. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give the unpatriotic schtick a proper burial.
Once again they(GOP)are underestimating obama. These types of comments about his being unpatriotic will not work.
Congratulations to Senator Obama on winning the nomination to run for President! Congratulations to Senator Clinton on her win in South Dakota. Last night was a victory for our Nation. It means that we, as a Nation, have begun the work it takes to move beyond racism and sexism, both of which spawn from lies, myths and half-truths. It means that we are beginning to mature as Nation fit to lead the world on cutting edge issues. America was looking good last night before the world. Her stars were shining, and her people taking control of their government and their destiny. I'm sorry that many of Clinton's supporters are disappointed and angry. It never easy to overcome a loss when you've worked so hard to obtain the prize. My sister is a Clinton supporter and she hates Obama, doesn't know anything about him, or his ideas, and she said she doesn't want to know. When we talk her as a family she becomes angry, leaves the room and has actually separated herself from our family because of Hillary Clinton. She refuses to vote in this election and I know there are many who feel that way. However, this election is about all of America and her people. Now we can begin to focus on bringing our soldiers home from Iraq, gas prices, a failing economy, an environment in tatters, a healthcare system that benefits everyone, an education system that has teaching methodologies that assist the learning needs of children today, a more diplomatic foreign policy and a host of other issues that have gone unaddressed. Yes! Nonsupporters of Obama can sit this one out, or vote for McCain. But you vote against your own economic interest and none of our democratic issues will be addressed under Senator McCain. Clinton supporters, the Democratic Party and our Nation need you. Try to see the bigger picture, "One Nation, under God, indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All." Obama 08
Barack ???The Chameleon??? Obama
An Agent of Change
When the Rev. Wright showed his true colors, Barack ???The Chameleon??? took a page right out of ???Slick Willys??? book .(???I did not have sex with that woman???) . Barack ???The Chameleon??? said in the twenty years of listening to the Rev Wrights sermons every week I have never seen or heard him say any of those hateful things so I???m changing and he is no longer part of my inner circle.
When the Rev continued his tirade, Barack ???The Chameleon??? said I???m changing, I???m throwing my friend and mentor for the past twenty years under the bus because ???I???m Barack ???The Chameleon??? and I???m changing???.
When a guest pastor, who was another close associate for twenty years, made some ugly remarks about Hillary, Barack ???The Chameleon??? said I???m changing, I???m throwing the pastor and the whole damn church under the bus because, ???I???m Barack ???The Chameleon??? and I???m changing???.
When confronted about being unpatriotic and not wearing a flag in his lapel, Barack ???The Chameleon??? said I???m changing. I going to start wearing a flag in my lapel because, ???I???m Barack ???The Chameleon??? and I???m changing???.
I suspect Barack ???The Chameleon??? will start placing his hand over his heart at the playing of the National Anthem because, ???I???m Barack ???The Chameleon??? and I???m changing???.
Barack ???The Chameleon??? is the same person who says letting the current tax cuts expire is not the same as a tax increase. Well middle-class check your net pay because Barack ???The Chameleon??? will be changing it. Then you will see how Barack ???The Chameleon??? plans to pay for part of the social giveaways he is promising. The rest will be paid for by a tax increase on the middle-class worker because, Barack ???The Chameleon??? said I???m changing.
This is the Barack ???The Chameleon??? Obama Platform
1. Get Elected.
2. Get Re-Elected.
3. Increase my wealth and power base.
4. Re-pay all the big contributors who helped me achieve 1,2 and 3.
5. Promise to change everything and do nothing.
Stop with the woman thing! I am a woman and Hillary Clinton most cetainly does NOT represent anything even remotely resembling my personal, professional, or political value system. She does not know what "most women go through"; she does not have the life of a typical American woman, or even a smal sector of us. A vote against Hillary is not a vote against women. It is a vote against her. Please, give us a woman we can respect and admire and relate to, a woman of integrity - not a panderer, not a thief, not a liar, not a cheat.
Appreciate your honesty.
"IF", and I mean "IF", he picked her, it would be his "DEATH." Hilly and Billy would have him eliminated, so that she comes in as President. Just like Johnson did to Kennedy!
The Clinton's want the White House because they believe it BELONGS TO THEM, well, NO IT DOESN'T, so they would do whatever was necessary to take it. Look at the people who mysteriously DIED who were associated with them in their land deal, and who foolishly went to prison for them so they wouldn't end up dead like all the others.
Obama has more sense and class to pick "Killery."
Sorry, that would be "sow" not "sew", although their lame attempts DO keep me in stitches!
If not the Vice President a cabinet post would be wonderful. She has a following among democrates that should not be ignored. They seem to be friends and they have alot of the same interests in helping turn this country around. I would want Hillary as my VP too, that way I don't have to do anything and take all the credit! I would guess that Obama is begging her to take it, if I were her however, I would say FORGET IT!!!
