    To: Retiree 2000, McCainwillwin, and Debunked: Rest assured NO ONE wants Hillary on the ticket. She has proven herself to be vengeful. She has lowered herself further than even I would have ever thought. I voted for Bill & gave Hillary the benefit of the doubt at the start of the campaign to consider ALL candidates, but in the face of not getting her way, she has shown her true hateful self. Obama has taken the high road and has run a clean campaign. With all of Hillary's "experience", I expected much more from her. As far as radical associations, I don't think you can get more radical (or just plain bad) association than a husband who had oral sex in the White House, lied about it, and was almost impeached while your wife (Ms. Hillary) stood by her man and said it wasn't true until all evidence made her publicly acknowledge it. No Mr. & Mrs. Clean there. McCain is Bush III and will further run our country in the ground. I guess we have experience to thank for massive foreclosures (literally seeing families belongings placed out on the street) and I mean working families, massive job losses, gas at $4.00 a gallon (Bush:It'll never happen under my administration?!?). My husband & I have the future to protect for our 3 boys & one who graduates next year & trying to give him hope of an immediate better future is a task since our country is so messed up. Sometimes it takes someone new with fresh ideas since we see where experience has gotten us. I wouldn't brag about experience, it doesn't look good. As far as hijacking, Hillary is the Queen of trying to hijack a campaign and making death threats in the process with her shameful comments. Again, rest assured No ONE wants Hillary, but as seen last night, Obama still refuses to lower himself. It's a shame race gets in the way. People like you don't care who can actually do the job and isn't afraid to change course if something isn't working (unlike Bush). Our country is in it's finest hour and it's worst (their REAL racism is showing). If he does pick her, he'd better have an official food taster. It's true, she didn't choose to walk away gracefully, so the Democratic party wants to give her that out by having him "offer" her the spot so she can say No. Like Bubba, she needs to go somewhere and sit down. Unlike all of you, if she had won the top spot or was the V.P. chosen, I'd vote for her as the lesser of two evils. We can't afford 4-8 more years of Bush politics in McCain!

Well, now that your fiscal prowess has been thoroughly discredited, I guess you guys will just have to fall back on your superior ability to wage war... oh wait... you're not so hot at that one either.

    Obama winning the nomination is a disaster. Hillary as a running mate would be a calamity. Neither of them are fit to be President of this country. They are both deceitful and not to be trusted. Hillary has been caught lying so much that nobody should trust her on anything she says. Obama is lying about being a Christian and doesn't even know what a Christian is when he says Christ isn't essentail to salvation. I am strongly convinced that he still has strong Muslim leanings and his church attendance is a smoke screen to cover his covert activities on behalf of radical Muslims. He has proved his dishonesty by courting those who are already anti-American in his political posturing as everyone knows (Cuba? and etc.?) and he has failed to visit the commander in chief in Iraq to get a clear picture of the war. Anyone who votes for him is deluded.

      Lovey, I think bottom line that is where most non Obama people have trouble with when it comes to Obama. He got politically educated thru the South side of Chicago with its lean and mean Political Machine with scads of shady politicians and other community associates. He picks extremely radical friends , anything to go up the political ladder. Attends a church that embraces Black Liberation Theology which lends itself to sermons of hate, racism, sexism, anti-american, anti-white, etc. Here lies the skeptitism that people have about Obama, which may not be so prominently an issue if he had a wealth of experience and accomplishments to counter any worry in this area. But really. Sorry if we all cant vote for a candidate based on just Hope and Change. Doing so would be making a vote based on Blind Faith. MainstreamMedea. Pls. do a real service to the american public and help with the vetting of Obama moving forward, one way or another to get real answers to all our doubts about this candidate so it can put our minds at ease to at least feel room temperature about Obama, the real man. The hope to feel warm and fuzzy about him wont come until he gets vetted . But thats just me. And Im sure millions of other Hillary supporters thinking to some extent.

        I'm taking the selfish road and voting for who I think will save my home, keep families from being put out on the street (working families), create jobs, bring down gas prices, and bring the troops home and stop wasting Billions of dollars a month of a war we can't win on our own merit since no change has been made within in Iraq. Who care about Hillary this or Obama that or even McCain whatever. People had better wake up and look at the REAL issues instead of the candidates before it's too late. McCain has made it clear he is BUSH III and will keep the war going. If you vote for McCain out of your hate for Obama, then you're a fool! Maybe if your home gets foreclosed on, you lose a job. or your loved one gets killed in Iraq the blinders will be taken off.

Any black - male or female - who supports abortion, PP, or reproductive rights legislation has been hoodwinked. The purpose of the program - from its genesis - is to control the black population. Get informed. You have reproductive rights, by your birth. You have the right to choose - so much. Use your rights to live responsibly. DOn't ask the government to "confer rghts"; with that comes the strings and the framework fro someone else's value system.

    I am so sick of hearing that this is a racist thing, for many of us it's a sexist thing, There have been many male presidents-in fact all of them. There has never been a woman president. A real change would have been female, a man regardless of color is still a man and they all think pretty much the same way about women. And they all treat us pretty much the same. So ge off the race issue allready-it is just an excuse.

    Obama's catch phrase of "Change" says it all...adding Hillary (and let's not forget Bill) to ANY part of his campaign negates the word and concept of change. It is unfortunate for all of us that the Clinton's do not have enough class to gracefully step aside (their extreme narcicissism won't allow for it) and that we have to continually watch the Clinton's forcing their way into a "party" that is already over for them.

    It appears to me that the "Good old Boys Club" struck again. As for voting, unless Hillary is on the ticket I will probably not vote for President, but I will certainly vote for the Dems running for congress. At least if we have a strong majority in congress, it isn't going to make much difference who the President is. If we finally get Congress back on track with the checks and balances it is supposed to have we can still move this country forward and OUT of the Bush Administration.

    Mr. Fineman, I think it is possible that you are deeply immersed in your reporting that you have lost touch with reality. The word from the Clinton camp, and everybody knows it, is that she will accept the Vice Presidency if it is offered to her. No matter how you in the media try to spin this, the ball is now in his court. If she is not on that ticket, it will only mean one thing -- he lacks the ability to compromise like Bush before him.

      compromise?? he has already done so, no matter how loud anyone yells their arguement, florida and michigan were not to be included....it hurt him, not her, you know the popular vote thing that she is now touting...and that is ok...i guess...they are both dem's and people will vote their heart...but it isn't very nice to change the rules...and it isn't very nice to try to force someone to do something they don't want to....hate that feeling....in some ways she is starting to hurt the feminist cause...she is not leading, i am sorry, but she is pouting and threatening to throw a fit...not a good imagine...

    HILLARY HAS LOST - LOST-LOST. Yet in her outright defiance to accept the fact, she will not bow out of the race with any dignity. Hillary is nothing but a defiant me-me-me-me canidate who cares nothing for the democratic party. She would rather destroy Obama and give the presidency to the republicans.Hillary is nothing but a me-me-me-me person. If someone does not bring her to her senses McCain will become president.
