What is so great about Hillary? Would you rather see a POW with an axe to grind who will reverse Roe v. Wade in the White House? Think about the options here.

That woman will never get it, not after that spectacle she pulled last night, and Bill's rant the day before. They absolutely have no class. When she has no choice but to return to her day job in the Senate, it will be to a very cold reception. Will someone PLEASE take this woman aside and knock some sense into her, IT'S OVER. She is seriously delusional if she thinks Obama will be intimidated by her threats in order to force her way onto the ticket. She is a sad creature.

At this point neither Obama or Clinton want to work together it's purely for gain. If Obama chooses her it's for 2 reasons (1) to get the Hillary vote and (2) due to Democratic party pressure. If Hillary considers the V.P. it's for 2 reasons (1) to get her foot in the door for the 2012 election or (2) to be able to turn him down when he offers to garner sympathy. I don't trust her and the sad but real joke is that if he chooses her he'd better have an official food taster. That woman can't be trusted. She almost makes me feel sorry for Bill after his Monica Lewinsky scandal. Talk about cold! She appears to have NO grace at all & since people want to talk about experience, what about the experience as a former first Lady. He behavior (and I did her an equal chance with Obama), has been undermining and tacky. Somehow the Democratic party has allowed her to throw tantrums and make up rules as she goes along. For Hillary supporters who talk about how badly SHE"S been treated, please find where Obama made an assassination comment about her, where he race was attacked, where her family was attacked (other than Bill's near impeachment), and where she REFUSES to admit OBAMA outran her on sheer honesty. She never saw it coming because that's the last thing you'd expect from a political candidate...HONESTY, INTEGRITY, and taking the high road instead of stooping. As for a woman, it really looks bad. She has the experience of being a former first lady so why didn't her experience keep her from falling into the traps (self-created) of saying bad things and making herself look bad?!? Because, her husband is a former president and they laughed at the silly notion that a Black man who doesn't have a spouse who used to run the country could outdo them and use integrity instead of mudslinging and actually have the American people see that is the real change we need. She considered if Bill (and I voted for him) would be an asset or a liability and truthfully no one cares anymore! I care about the massive job losses, forelcosure rates, troops still in Iraq (somehow if you don't have a direct loved one there you tend to forget how long it's really been already - over 5 years). I have 3 boys and one who graduates next year and I am definitely concerned about Bush III (McCain) and how he views the war (never ending). Due to job loss, we are struggling with our mortgage and gas prices (enough said). I don't have time for who likes or doesn't like who. The first

So the dynasty dies hard, slow and UGLY....after a despicable campaign where Hillary threw "the kitchen sink" full of slime at Obama while he kept his arms at his sides, never striking back with an ounce of truth about Hugh or Tony Rodham, or her awful slug husband, she now thinks she can hold the party hostage to make Obama kiss her ring and offer her the VP slot....DONT DO IT....her tax returns and his donor lists WONT stay hidden thru November, and the RNC will not be as gentlemanly as Obama's people.

"Why did you turn the TV off?", my wife asked. "Because I've seen what I wanted to see. Obama is the nominee. It's late. Let's go to bed." "But what about the commentary?' she asked. "Don't you want to hear what Carl Rove has to say?" I looked at her with concern. "I love you dearly. You need help," I said as I began turning out lights.

I'm wondering if the situation were reversed, would the Clintons be willing to accommodate Sen. Obama and his supporters by offering him the VP spot. I don't think so. After observing the underhanded, dirty tactics these people used to try to defeat Obama, why would he trust them to support his agenda?

  • Posted By: maryrat @ 06/04/2008 9:36:32 AM

No VP for Hillary. No way! No how! Not now or ever! She disgraced herself, her family and the American voters especially women. She reinforced the caricature of the screaming "because I don't get my way, crying at the drop of a hat, shrill scolding " woman we have fought so long to erase. She doesn't stand for me.

  • Posted By: oldeskule @ 06/04/2008 9:36:01 AM

bottom line. the democrats can not win with this devisive disruptive and disrespectful person on the ballot, either in the #1 or #2 spot. Nothing would unite the independants, and "Regan democrats" with the conservative republicans faster that having HRC on the ticket. You want a strong ticket? leave her off.

  • Posted By: sWellesleygrad @ 06/04/2008 9:35:03 AM

As a Wellesley grad, you would think that I would support Hillary... but I don't trust her. I think it is ridiculous that she should be outraged if Obama selects a woman as a running mate. WHY NOT? If she really is upset by that idea then she should stop and think about what message that gives people... She is bringing focus to the sex of the candidate. Employment Law? No selection of an employee (or candidate) based on sex, religion or race? WHEN will people select the CANDIDATE based on their skills, what they say and how they act and not whether he is a she, she is a he... or an it? I would not vote for Obama because he is a man... or part black or part white... I would vote for him based on his record and his ability to communicate - note his website QUOTES HIM! Is clear and to the point. Look at others - and it is all word play spun by the candidates "people." I urge AMERICANS who read this.... get over your sex, religion or politics... and do what is best and vote for the candidate not the label~!

  • Posted By: ALLEAS @ 06/04/2008 9:34:46 AM

IT WILL BE A BIG MISTAKE FOR OBAMA TO DANCE AROUND THE ISSUE OF THE VP SPOT WITH HRC. IF HE DOES NOT WANT HER ON THE TICKET THEN HE HAD BETTER NOT ASK HER, BECAUSE IF HE DOES SHE WILL ACCEPT IN A NEW YORK SECOND. THEN WE WILL BE STUCK WITH THE CLINTONS FOR ANOTHER 8 YEARS AND ALL OF THE BAGGAGE THAT COMES WITH THEM. IT IS TIME FOR A NEW DAY IN AMERICA. WE NEED TO TURN THE PAGE. IF OBAMA IS TRUTHFUL ABOUT WANTING TO BRING CHANGE, HE SHOULD SELECT SOMEONE OTHER THAN CLINTON AS A RUNNING MATE.

I feel that it would be a political miscalculation to put Clinton on the ticket. She will undermine Obama all along the way. Some people are saying they will not vote for Obama out of shear stubbornness which is ridculous. I was a Clinton supporter until I watched how she managed her campaign, it was poorly organized. She can't run a country if she can't even manage her campaign. Look at how well Obama has been doing strategically. The only dirt they have on him is that his former pastor made a few derogatory comments. Obama has shown strength in character and the ability to take the time to understand people and their motivation for their actions. He has earned my vote the hard way, by proving he is capable.

  • Posted By: boredandirritated @ 06/04/2008 9:30:43 AM

I don't think Clinton would make a good match as VP for Obama for many reasons. And frankly, after her campaign I really don't trust her to say no even if she claims she doesn't want the VP. I think Obama has more sense than to cave in to political blackmail. That being said, she would obviously be a good Cabinet member. I hope that's the way it's trending. I know I should be more generous to Sen. Clinton but she really hasn't demonstrated to me in the last 2 weeks much regard for party unity or shown any attempt to reach out to the Obama camp. Instead, she's expected Obama to reach out soothe her ego (leaving aside the egos of her supporters!), which seems ridiculous for her age and length of political experience.

now that obama is nominee our entire family is going to cross party lines and vote for mc can.

    • Posted By: Debunked @ 06/04/2008 9:30:34 AM

      I agree!

The dems have alienated a lot of people!

If Clinton don't run independent, McCain it is!!!

    • Posted By: dogteam @ 06/04/2008 9:28:44 AM

Go ahead its your right. Basically shows that you really had no idea why you were voting in the first place.

    • Posted By: Mrs. Jones @ 06/04/2008 9:12:10 AM

Then what, exactly, was your vote based on? Certainly can't have been issues. Obama has demonstrated that he is capable of organizing a very capable group of individuals to do the unthinkable (upset Clinton and win the nomination) Why wouldn't he be capable of combining his good sense and experience with the good sense and experience of others to get the job done? The Clinton campaign demonstrated they were not capable of doing this.

      • Posted By: yorker25 @ 06/04/2008 9:05:59 AM

That really is so sad considering that on a political level HRC and BO have very similar positions. Have you compared McCain to BO? It makes me wonder why exactly people like you who claim to be Democrats and were supporting Hillary won't support Barack? But it's ok...we'll do it with or without you

  • Posted By: sWellesleygrad @ 06/04/2008 9:29:33 AM

As a fellow Wellesley alumna, I think it is a sorry, outrageous suggestion that Hillary be upset if Obama selected a woman as a running mate. If it is true, then the Clinton campaign is doing nothing but forcing a divide - that need NOT be done - between men and women. GO FOR THE CANDIDATE - not by their SEX, RELIGION, or RACE! Gracious, hasn't America progressed enough to not keep pigeon-holing people? I personally would not vote for Clinton because I do not trust her and her husband broke the law! Wellesley Class of 93.

  • Posted By: jc475635 @ 06/04/2008 8:46:10 AM

Hillary is strictly N.C.A.A. - NO CLASS AT ALL!!!! Hello Hillary...It was not your night!! It was America's night. You have shown that you are not a team-player and this attempt to intimidate is divisive. Barack can win without you...the majority of Democrats, Independents and many Republicans see that he has a lot of class. Those screaming white women on television are a big turn-off...the racisim rears its ugly head. Anybody with any class would have called the winner with congratulations. SHAME ON YOU HILLARY CLINTON!!!

    • Posted By: hope-3 @ 06/04/2008 9:28:25 AM

Yes, her supporters made a big mistake with they're screaming on LIVE TV.The world was watching.Big mistake.

  • Posted By: ariadne @ 06/04/2008 9:26:13 AM

stop covering her... she lost. all they want is attention and 'free' air time and the press obliges. ignore her and she will go away, ignore her and she will not be able to stir the pot, ignore her and she will become insignificant.

we would not donate this much attention to any other loser.

I will now have to vote for McCain, no way would i vote for Obama after all that has come out about church and family . I think it is a sad day for this country.

    • Posted By: kaparrish57 @ 06/04/2008 7:23:06 AM

      Dear Ms. Piggy,
Thank you for your comment; but we all understand people who think like you will never under any circumstances vote for our future President, Barack Obama. So do us a favor, go ahead and vote for McCain then you can rest easy on your bigoted behind scoffing down your "bonbons" while you watch the first African-American become the President of the United States, (flag pin or not)

      • Posted By: tonib @ 06/04/2008 9:25:28 AM

It's a sad day when hatred, racism, and pure foolishness cause people to vote for the worst of the two evils (McCain) instead of the better candidate (Obama) just because Hillary didn't win. When it comes back to bite you in the butt (foreclosure, job loss, maybe a friend or family member killed in Iraq) then you'll see too late that McCain was the wrong choice. People are allowing their own self hatred do something stupid. Unlike those people, if Hillary had won or becomes V.P. (as much as I don't trust her), I'd still vote for her because there's no way my family personally can take another 4-8 years of Bush III. I have a future to consider for my children and within the next 8 years, maybe grandchildren and no amount of dislike (or shamefully hate for many of you) would allow me to vote based ONLY on personal feelings. I have to look at the reality of what's to come if we don't get the Republicans out of the White House and salvage what's left of our country befor it's too late. Bush refused and still refuses to admit he was wrong about the war. I can respect a man (or woman) who can admit a mistake and change direction instead of holding onto being wrong just to save face & not give a flip about how many MILLIONS of Americans are hurt by my decision as Bush is doing. His legacy is down the toilet and Hillary is close behind because she's pulled stuff I would never have believed for a former first lady and I did vote for Bill. Even beyond his oral sex in the White House no less and almost impeachment, I gave her a fair shot and really listened to all the candidates. She is a vengeful woman who proves she has no grace when she doesn't get her way and for some reason the Democratic party is allowing her to behave like a spoiled child who if not for the American people, would make up the rules as she goes along. Unfortunately, she has fallen into the trap of putting others down instead of lifting herself up and it makes her look like what a lot of men think is an emotional, scorned, hateful, hormonal woman. I've lost ALL respect for her, but it still doesn't hold a candle to the fact that she is the lesser of two evils with McCain and if she does become V.P., it won't make me NOT vote for Obama. That would be plain stupid. Yes, I'm calling you who will vote for McCain over Obama because of Hillary's loss stupid! You say that's not the reason, but you'd better check, I think your racism is showing!

Enter Your Comment What reservations to do you harbor about Obama? What has come out about his church and family? What in the world has been so shameful that has caused you to cross party lines? Or perhaps you've always intended to vote republican and you can't resist the opportunity to criticize an educated, respectable BLACK man?

  • Posted By: temerahluv @ 06/04/2008 12:09:01 AM

Obama absolutely should NOT even consider Hillary for a VP choice. Why would he want a VP that doesn't think he's qualified to be the president? Not to mention he would probably have to hire food testers and wear
bullet proof helmets and vests during every cabinet meeting. I somehow feel J. Edgar Hoover has been reincarnated, and has returned in female form!

    • Posted By: loriw @ 06/04/2008 12:14:17 AM

I and a few others have been saying the same thing for weeks now... Obama needs to heed these concerns we have that Hillary would have no remorse if "something happened" to Obama and she got to be President.
Just remember Hill, no one is above the law, not even you, and everyone would know you had motive.

A shameful performance in selfishness and greed last night by Clinton, who has demonstrated no respect for party or country or the historic moment of the Obama nomination to millions of African Americans. Her grabbing of the spotlight and manipulations, rather than a gracious concession reveal the depth of her arrogance and poor judgment. She is unfit for public office. And very sad that the media and the public have grown to accept and even support her behavior.
