    No...No...NO!!!!! Hillary would never be satisfied with being #2...she wants "it all" and WE don't want her...
    I'm sorry, supporters, but I had enough of the Clintons when Bill's term ended. Change? Yeah, right...she didn't do much to support change during the time she served in the Senate. The past 8 years have been absolutely a "do nothing" Congress who worried about baseball issues, Senators playing "footsie" under a bathroom stall, etc....too afraid to attack the REAL issues and get some work done.

    Would someone please pull the plug on the' concerned Canadian'? Who needs that unadultered bigotry, especially from a nonentity? Hillary Clinton didn't have the class or the guts to reach out to the person who beat her honestly- oh, and by-the -way, after Montana , the popular vote argument became just another figment of her campaign's collective imagination. For someone who claims to have been such an advocate of civil rights, to not be able to get out of her own way long enough to celebrate Senator Obama's historic accomplishment, was extremely telling. Putting her on the ticket would be an unmitigated disaster.She has demonstrated over and over, her inability to manage the former president and why would the nominee want to saddle himself with so much baggage.

    Hillary in no way represents ALL women. I am a 59 year old white women teacher. Her husband has disrespected her more than any man or party or contest. She has lied, Bosnia etc. I have a brother and two nephews, one in Iraq right now, what an affront to all soldiers. She lost this election because she is all about her own ego, not us. I want her to go to the nearest Walmart and buy that 11 year old kid a new bike with all of her millions and then, just go home and give all of us a break.

    Hilary as VP? No way! I am female, a Democrat from day one, white, and feel that Hilary as VP will affect the "Change" agenda by abusing her position as VP. Why isn't anyone asking about Bill Richardson? Had he been black or female, he would have been the complete package as a Presidential Candidate with his experience and programs.

    I don't get concerned canadian and other Clinton supporters. On one hand they talk about Hillary's popular vote, and then they turn around when the polls show him leading in pop. vote for November in polls, and say well, its all about the electorial college. Well, make up your mind. Either it is about delegates and electorial votes or it is about popular vote (which it is not). But you can't pick and choose.
    And you can blame the DNC if you want, but you have to equally blame the states that tried to move their primaries up.

    Hillary Clinton is a mean-spirited, divisive individual that cannot tell the truth. I would not trust her! I believe the Clintons would do ANYTHING to get back into the White House. Obama is naive to think this woman will support his candidacy. She will do everything is her power to make sure he will not win, in order to send the message "I told you so, Obama cannot win the White House. I was the stronger candidate". Thus, setting her run in 2012. Voters do not be fooled by this evil woman.

      I agree. She will try the I told you so & also try to undermine him by playing word games then stating that's not what she meant. I hope in 2012 she's too old to run because I've seen a side of her I never would have believed in the past. Obama is smart & doesn't want her as his V.P. I couldn't pick someone who referenced assassination among her other tricks. She either wants the V.P.spot only to undermine Obama and set herself up for 2012 OR she wants it offered to her so she can turn it down and garner sympathy since she didn't have enough class to bow our gracefully. We see who has the power (former Presidents). The Clintons are appalled and offended that how dare this man (esp. Black man) think he has the right to run our country since they have so much experience. Well, let's see where has experience gotten us?!?! I wouldn't brag about experince. Our country is a mess and they underestimated Obama and couldn't figure out how he could run a clean campaign and win. They are ticked about it. He simply took the high road and she definitely took the low road (I'm surprised even for her) and I voted for Bill. In the beginning I gave her the benefit of the doubt. As the old saying goes, if you give someone enough time they'll hang themselves without you having to do a thing. She made herself look bad, not Obama. All of her land mines came out of her own mouth.

    What utter nonsense.I know that Fineman along with Newsweek and WaPo,is in the tank for Obama ,but to write this garbage with anonymous sources is like the other scumbags story on Bill in Vanity Fair.I wonder if Obama camp is putting these folks out to get rid of opposition.As far as I am concerned The old boys club and drooling media punditry and young women fan club have been abusive to her with their sexist remarks all through this campaign.It was hard to watch MSNBC this evening with Chris Matthews going into"giggles" as he was "excited" about the impending win for his boy and Olbemann was such a worry wart about a possible'banana peel' that could hert his BF and ofcourse Robinson and Madcow spewed their venom.And after RBC threw her under the bus last saturday what does Hillary and Bill owe to these morons?I wish they would quit the party as some of us are doing.The bloggers can go to hell.

      When HRC entered the race, I told my wife that it was hers to win or lose. She was so far ahead in all the national polls, it seemed a foregone conclusion she would win. I'm not sure if it was a matter of Obama "winning," or that the Clinton team simply "lost" the election for her. Anyway, it is all irrelevant at this point. Only the present and future count, and that means looking forward to winning the Presidency.

      If Hillary Clinton rejects the VP spot, then Obama has every right to choose whomever he wants, man or woman. This isn't about women's rights, it's Clinton narcissism, and her supporters would be less of a feminist movement than a glassy-eyed cult of personality to support this attitude.

    Senator Clinton's speech was very disappointing. I expected a party united, however, her speech was about I, I, I and continuing to fight for the the 18 million of us who supported her - what about the other millions of Americans? It appears that Senator Clinton has decided that this race is all about her and what she wants. The understanding I came away with from her speech was that either "I get what I want or I will continue to keep the democratic party divided" She is still trying to highjack the presidency - as if her opinion regarding health care, the economy and the Iraq war are the only ones that are valid. I applaud her tenacity and preserverence; however, I think it is wrong to imply that she either has it her way or to hell with unity. I was initially all for the "dream team" but now I'm not so sure I will even vote if Senator Clinton highjacks teh VP spot

      That very same party and that very same party's candidate did everything they could to HIJACK her campaign EVEN taking away delegates that she rightfully earned and now you have the audacity to talk about party unity!! Would you be eager to support a party and candidate who treated you like you don't even matter???!!

      Party Unity--------the Democrats threw that out the door. And I agree with you, I wouldn't vote for her either if she is on the ticket with Obama!

        I don't know how you can use the word HIJACK. The terms were in place for Florida and Michigan not to count before the vote, Obama withdrew from the race in MIchigan. Some people did not vote for Hillary even though they voted Democratic in MIchigan. I did not hear Obama complaining about Hillary being given half after she agreed to the terms in the beginning. I'm sure some did not vote because they knew it was not going to count and after it was all over and you need the votes to force your point you scream fowl. It is going to be hard enough to end a war when Obama wins, I don't think he should be saddled with a Vice President who has not once said she would work to help Obama. I have only heard what she wants and plans to force on him. It's time to play nice.

    Obama will just be a puppet for the powerful in the Democratic party, he will be much more easier for them to control then Hillary, that's the only reason he is the nominee. Hillary won the majority of the big states, he may not be able to carry them in the presidential election. Regardless nothing will change Democrat or Republican there are just to many powerful greedy people controlling this country.

    Here is the plan for the Clintons. if Hillary wants to be President, the only way possible is if she gets selected as Obama's running mate. You see, if Obama becomes President , there is no way Hillary could ever become President unless something were to happen to Obama. You may be starting to get the picture. The Clinton's are very devious people and Hillary will do anything to get her foot in the door. Remember Foster? if I were Obama, I would think twice before ever picking Hillary to be my running mate. Too much in the Clinton arena surrounding lies, deception etc.

She will run for President again in 2012 after Obama loses to MCain and 4 yrs from now people remember Hillary and how she was right that she was the stronger democratic candidate to beat McCain for college electorial votes in the big states, swing states --the important states.         Clinton won't win anymore in 2012 than she did this year, many of us simply dislike her, intensely (I am a white woman with an education - and only my parents liked her and they are old with prejudices she played like a worn out violin).

        Clinton let it go. You don't have a chance now or later. This country didn't like Bubba when he left office and they liked you less

I don't really think there will be much of a country left if we don't get a democrat as president. The republicans love watching us fight over stupid stuff when we should be coming together to win this thing and repair some of the damage

          You are right there. The republicans definitely are loving it. Im an independent and I have not decided one way or another yet. I was just proposing another hypothetical angle as to why Hillary would not want the VP spot, alternate way of looking at it compared to what Po's thoughts were in his/her post. But I have not ruled either out one way or another yet.
