Loyal Obama supporters vote for Obama regardless of who is on the ticket. Except Bill Clinton of course. He did his time.

  • Posted By: doc3osh @ 06/04/2008 8:11:15 AM

Of course she doesn't want another woman on the ticket-- it immediately denies her and all of her followers the ability to moan that the media/Obama supporters/ the world in general is against her because she's a woman. She'd have to face up to reality: we don't like her because she really does represent old-school politics that we're sick of (the Bosnia lie, the "I got more popular votes if you don't count 11 states" lie, the gas tax BS, etc etc)

Obama sucks .I hope Hillary runs on the Independent party . It is time for a real third party and a woman president . I will never vote obama the wind bag racist .

    • Posted By: democrat for life @ 06/04/2008 1:44:21 AM

If she runs as and Independent, she will probably do better than George Wallace as an Independent or Strom Thurmond as a Dixie-crat, but she still will not win. Even if all of the 18million who voted for her during the primaries voted for her in the general election (which that will never happen), that would not be enough to carry the election. The only thing that would accomplish is giving the White House to McBush. Look at history, any time one of the major parties has split, the other party always wins. The ONLY chance Hillary has of residing the the White House again is if she supports the Democratic Nominee and waits until 2016 to try again.

People keep talking about leting Obama be the Pres for 4 years and then she can run again in 2012. That would be political suicide for her. I am sure that one day she may make an excellent President, but this is just not her time.

It takes a wind bag racist to know a wind bag racist

    • Posted By: dobbelaere @ 06/04/2008 12:45:46 AM

People that use that word (racists)towards others in my opinion are they themselves racists. Name calling is showing your ignorance. Let her run as independent . She needs to put herself in the hole a few more million.

This is exactly why so many people turned away from the Clintons and towards the younger, no BS candidacy of Senator Obama. This type of nonsense is completely unnecessary and yet, here we are reading a story about how Hillary is dictating who may or may not be on the ticket. How is offering a position to a woman who supposedly doesn't want it, so she can turn it down.....going to calm down the army of angry old feminists?

  • Posted By: highjustice @ 06/04/2008 7:33:58 AM

yeah well, when the people of the US finally crush us under the weight of our own emotional waste and the government collapses remember all the nonsense you thought was important about our country when we are living in anarchy fearing for our lives. These people are all trash as far as I'm concerned. The fact that you can look at them, hear them talk, and trust anything any of them say amazes me. Ignorant and naive. That is how we will be seen in the history books by humans who hopefully have evolved intelligence instead of egotism and make decisions using their brains and not some corrupt morale BS that the media and politicians feed you just to make the sheep produce more wool. It doesn't matter who the President is.... our government is paralyzed one way or another to make any real decisions that have to be made, so what does it matter? People out there call for things like... socialized health care and think that just because the IDEAL is sound that it will actually have a chance of working. Communism anyone? Yeah that was a great idea until some idiots tried to put it into practice... guess what? Humans break everything they touch... how in the heck do you think we would pull off a communal system that works when we barely keep from killing our neighbors much less think of them before ourselves hahaha! So when someone else is in front of you for that operation, and you are going to die and nothing you can do about it, I hope you go out with the quiet grace that befits someone who begged to die through idealist policy. Wake up and join the real world, where most people think of only themselves, regardless of what they like to tell you they are thinking about. If Hilary Clinton was REALLY worried about the US, and actually thought that she or the democratic party could make a difference she wouldn't be using all of her power and wealth to try and make people think she's such a great person... she'd use it to BE a great person instead. President is just a title... it doesn't mean anything in the end except that you won the national popularity contest... grats.

      Highjustice,
I don't read anything of value in your blog. It's easy to sit back and trash everything. Even seems like you really enjoy it. So glad that not everyone has your attitude or we'd really be in trouble. Look...if all you can do is stand on your soap box and preach doom, stay out of the way and let others with more intelligience, willpower, energy, creativity and hope lead the way.

With Hillary on the ticket...comes Billary also. A REAL LIABILITY... With HIllary on the ticket; McCain gets the vote... she is too much of a liability and she comes on too demanding.... she wants to be Pres NOT VP
Scary situation... only a heart beat away..... Absolutely NOT the Clintons on Rock Obama ticket.... If she is on the ticket.... that is my vote for McCain.

  • Posted By: BJONESEY @ 06/04/2008 8:07:15 AM

I totally agree wiht Moirra - am also a registered Republican - I would not vote for Obama if Clinton was on the ticket!! Obama all the way!!!!!!

  • Posted By: theraen @ 06/04/2008 2:26:06 AM

I am a Hillary supporter and I will NOT be voting for Obama either. McCain gets my vote, and that of my spouse, parents and siblings. I'm sorry, but there is no way that you sit in a church for 20 years and not realize that your "spiritual mentor" is a racist, sexist, anti-America idiot. I don't even think I would vote for him if Hillary was his VP choice.

    • Posted By: mzminic @ 06/04/2008 8:06:00 AM

Well I guess you know everything there is to know about your pastor. COngratulations!

  • Posted By: strawberry @ 06/04/2008 8:05:38 AM

Obama does not want the CLINTONS on HIS ticket.... Kick her to the curb. A lot of reasons.
Bill is out of control and slings mud everytime he gets angry....lots of time. She wants to be PRESIDENT
and would do anything to get there... Vice Pres is only a heart beat away from Pres... He is NOT a loser so he does not need Hillary. The Clintons are a LIABILITY and SCRAY one at that... Kick her to the curb

  • Posted By: crawford.2 @ 06/04/2008 8:03:00 AM

Hillary needs to be on the ticket as VP. I am not buying she does not want that job. We have never had a Woman VP and if she is offered she needs to take it. If we truely want change what better way than to truely make history with both of them in office. Black men do not have a great history of showing respect for women~ what better way to change alot of things!

  • Posted By: Moirra @ 06/04/2008 7:59:00 AM

I am a registered Republican and I switched this year and am voting for Obama. However, if Clinton is on the ticket, it would be tainted and I would not vote for Obama. I can't support a Clinton in the White House.

  • Posted By: po5864 @ 06/04/2008 2:45:53 AM

I had heard that there was growing dissention in the Democratic Party, but I am appalled at what I have read in the many posts below. I had thought the reporting of HRC supporters being unwilling to support BHO was just a lot of inflammatory remarks to grab headlines. I had no idea that the our Party was so divided. The HRC supporters need to realize one very important thing: Without their support, the Republicans will win this election. It's a simple choice to make, really, vote Democrat or Republican. If you choose to vote Republican, then don't complain when we get the same old politics we have always had.

    • Posted By: baddogbad @ 06/04/2008 2:57:14 AM

It sure is nice to see an Obama supporter readily admit they don't understand politics. The people who support HRC are telling you, and have been telling you, that for many reasons, but mostly of late because Obama had allied himself with racists and elitists, they can't support him. Most will, ultimately, drink the same Kool-Aid that has rendered your mind inert, and will vote for Obama. But enough won't to help ensure McCain beats the intellectual midget you find so appealing.

      • Posted By: theraen @ 06/04/2008 3:03:49 AM

Exactly. I will not vote for BHO because I do not trust him. He convieniently left his church of 20 years now, why now? Why not 20 years ago, 10, even 5. No he waited until he was trying to win an election to seperate himself from people who believe as Rev. Wright does.

        • Posted By: mzminic @ 06/04/2008 7:58:48 AM

WOW! I guess you know everything about your pastor...If you have one. You agree with everything your pastor may say or do. Therefore if your pastor every committs a crime you should do the time.

        • Posted By: mzminic @ 06/04/2008 7:54:39 AM

So I suppose you know everything about your pastor.....If you even have one. I also can assume you agree with everything he or she may say. I can also expect for you to do the time if your pastor committs a crime.

      • Posted By: po5864 @ 06/04/2008 3:06:32 AM

A little sensitive are we? I understand politics and try to follow it, but with an open mind. I won't lower myself to personal attacks, as that does nothing to solve issues, it just alienates people. I don't consider Obama a racist, as the Fox Network would want most people to believe. I believe his position on equality has always remained the same. As for his being associated with elitists, that's a strange comment when he is the least elitist of the all the candidates. I'm sure he will not get your vote, and probably many more from people that think the same way you do. That's OK. My statement still remains the same: If you choose to vote Republican, then don't complain when we get the same old politics we have always had.

Has everyone forgotten that Hillary has HUGE negatives? The Clinton's are the rallying cry of the far right and putting her on the ticket would energize the very Republicans who may stay home instead of voting for McCain. This is a generational shift - in the country and the Democratice party - and Hillary and the Clinton machine are the past.

    • Posted By: McCainwillwin @ 06/04/2008 7:58:39 AM

Osamabama is enough to energize Republicans to vote AGAINST him! Republicans are NOT going to stay home and allow osamabama to get elected. Republicans may not like McCain, but he is WAY better for America, than osamabama. Face it dems, you just botched another presidential election!

  • Posted By: lebinky @ 06/04/2008 7:58:33 AM

At this point Hillary & Bill would love to have a re-do. That's not going to happen.
The reason Hillary won't accept the VP position, if offered, is no matter who wins the election in 2008 Hillary & Bill will be back for their re-do in 2012.

  • Posted By: chatbuddie @ 06/04/2008 7:56:20 AM

everyone wants Mr. Obama for president? Stay one week in the Hyde Park neighborhood and then voice your views!

  • Posted By: anytime1958 @ 06/04/2008 1:23:26 AM

Sentiment against Obama is running so high right now, I think even George W Bush would beat him if he was the Republican candidate.

    • Posted By: lottie @ 06/04/2008 7:48:43 AM

      You mean racism

    • Posted By: B.Wilson @ 06/04/2008 1:44:03 AM

President Bush = WORST PRESIDENT EVER! Hands down the WORST!
Obama on his worst day will be better then BUSH on his best day.

    • Posted By: watchdogroup @ 06/04/2008 1:39:42 AM

Hmmmm...exactly who's sentiment are you basing this intricate accesment? He just beat the biggest Democratic Machine the Dems have and still leads McCain in every poll. OHhhh are you watching FOX news?

    • Posted By: ldavison @ 06/04/2008 1:36:50 AM

You're such a liar; I dare you to document this purported opposition to Obama.

  • Posted By: buckshot @ 06/04/2008 7:47:19 AM

the only thing obama talks about is change! in 1976 we wanted and change and along came jimmy carter
well, we got change. everything went from bad to worst, so be carefull what you wish for. obama reminds
me of that old tv ad "were's the beef"

  • Posted By: JBond57 @ 06/04/2008 7:44:47 AM

I trust Obama to make the right decision and what is best for America not what is best for "The Party", for him or to soothe that BIG defiant Ego of Hillary

  • Posted By: buckshot @ 06/04/2008 7:43:35 AM

obama talks about change! in 1976 we wanted change and along come jimmy carter. we got chance alright

I believe that if Obama dosen't pick Mrs. Clinton he will be the mistake of his life, with her he can beat McCain without her, well I don't think he can because the small working people like me will not vote

    • Posted By: McCainwillwin @ 06/04/2008 7:42:28 AM

It matters NOT, who he selects. He's going to LOSE no matter who is on the ticket.
