Without Hillary, BHO does not have a snowball's prayer in hell of winning in the fall.
Without Hillary, BHO does not have a snowball's prayer in hell of winning in the fall.
BHO will win the Presidency as the democratic nominee this fall. In fact, anyone running against a republican would win, that's how bad they have messed up the country and our reputation. BHO does not need Hillary to win.
Well, unless Obama is brain dead (which I've suspected for some time), he's got to figure out that there is a huge target right between his eyes IF he goes for Hillary for VP...From gossip, it simple to figure that this guy is a dead man walking...and it's not clear yet, if the displeasure of THE CHICAGO mafia will be the hit guys or of Hill will do what she had done with another guy who got in her way...Vince Foster,,,SHE wants this PRESIDENCY at any cost. Hang on it isn't over, yet. He is planning a trip to Iraq and a stray bullet may find its way to OOPS...paid assasins are cheap these days,,,especially in IRAQ.
Obama VP: How about Bloomberg.
We want change and HRC is not change! Obama needs to pick someone outside Washington and stick
to what he's preaching! CHANGE! Do you really think he wants Bill running around the White House? Since
he wont have a job, look out interns! Plus with HRC as VP Obama better get use to wearing bullet proof vest
because she'll do anything to be PRESIDENT!
As a lifelong Dem. I will not support the Obama ticket... Hillary must run as an Independent... she will carry 18 million voters... and I will be one of them

Mount Sinai,NY.
If Hillary runs as an Independent, she and Obama will split the Democratic and Independent votes, and McCain will get all the Republican votes, and we will end up with four more years of the machine known as George W. Bush. Right now we are in a recession. If that hapens, we will end up in another Great Depression, and you will only have yourself to thank.
Is that what you really want?
I know lots of Clinton supporters are feeling glum right now. But in politics, just like in life, sometimes you have to compromise on the thing you didn't want in order to avoid a greater evil. Look carefully at McCain and Obama. Ask yourself which of them wold make a better President, which of them is more likely to carry out Hillary's agenda politically. It's NOT a popularity contest. You may love Clinton's personality and hate Obama's, but if you agree with Clinton's politics, then you can't vote for McCain, it would be like shooting yourself in the foot.
Agreed, is she does run as Independent I woill vote for her.
I'm sorry for the dem. party you have a man that has been thrown at us by the press. I'm sorry for all the dem.that voted in mass & flor. that their votes really didn't count for the person they casted them for. I'm sorry but, I will not vote for obama while I remember the same mess with bush jr. and florida that game him the pressidency. lookes and smell the same old ***. they want us to vote for obama and I wont be a part of it. I will vote for hillary as a independant or go rep. before I allow delegates to choice for me. If I remember right . washington is for the people and we vote to whom we feel would serve us best he didn't win neither did bush jr. but here we are again
Gov Bill Richardson for VP! His state of New Mexico has improved in education, and is fiscally sound. Most states have not done nearly as well. He is morally sound and has no baggage. He would be the first Hispanic VP and is respected around the world. There are also other qualified candidates, so the question is...Why should we settle for HRC?
Richardson could also help with the Hispanic vote that Clinton thinks Obama can never win
Not sure why ladyj would assume that someone who doesn't trust BHO "trusted Bush." I didn't trust Bush then or now, and I don't trust BHO for many of the same reasons. As for Bill Richardson, the guy is a classic turncoat, which is as true an indication of his morality as you're going to get. If he's the best the party has to offer, we're beyond help. To put it in perspective, if Richardson ends up on the ticket, I won't just vote for McCain--I'll campaign for him!
When Obama first entered the primary race I was a strong believer that the American People were ready for change and would vote for him. I still feel that way and with the way Bush has run the country into the ground if it wasn't Obama, whomever ran on the Democratic ticket would win because of the tremendous letdown with the present administration over the last eight years.
For all the women who supported HRC and said that they would not vote for Obama, I hope that they have thought about Roe vs Wade and that the next President will most likely appoint several people to the Supree Court. McCain is a pro-life candidate and one more conservative on the bench would take away the right of women to choose. Listen up ladies, I am not a supporter of abortion but I value my right to choose what goes on with my body and my freedom of choice. So think long and hard about your decisions on who will be the next President.
Keelyjazz,
Obama hasn't been true to himself? How many times has Clinton remade herself in this campaign? Is she a champion of women, is she a gun totin', beer swillin' woman of the people, is she a populist, Is she the enevitable nominee who was gonna have this thing "wrapped" up by Super tuesday? Is she the
underdog fighting the good fight...etc. John McCain has flip-flopped on every position he's ever had. From saying previously that we had to engage in diplomacy with our enemies, to now saying we should never talk to our enemies. from opposing the Bush tax cuts, to now wanting to make them permanent. I would say that obama has remained more true to himself, than either of the other two. Obama doesn't care about people. This is the guy that graduated from Harvard with a law degree, and instead of going to work at some big law firm, which he could have easily done, chose instead to be a community activist in one of the poorest areas of Chicago. I'd say youve already been proven wrong.
We want a change and HRC is not a change! She's old politics with Bill
pulling the strings! Obama doesn't want to have Bill any where near the
white house! She'll do ANYTHING to be president so Obama better get
use to wearing bullet proof vest!
comment: My Democratic husband will vote for Mc Cain , and I most likely will not vote at all. I do not agree with what was done in Michigan. There are a great many of us feeling this way. The DNC could have stepped up and shown leadership and they did not. I do not believe Obama can win against Mc Cain. Our very sad state of affairs with regard to the economy and the war and lack of health care etc. is a direct result of people voting for someone who was not the beat person for the job. I hear many Republicans saying they did not see it coming with the way President George Bush led our country and they either won't vote or will vote for a Democrat this time around. It all depends on how the numbers come out with everyone changing theirs votes, and all the new voters who have come aboard, and some unknown fiasco that will surely transpire during the General Election. Hang on, it's going to be quite a ride!!
geez...what will it cost you to go out and vote....not much....if you vote for him he will win....i sound like a movie....
NOT VOTING AT ALL IS LIKE GIVING A VOTE TO OBAMA SO GO VOTE AND DO LIKE YOUR HUSBAND. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE STRONG HILLARY SUPPORTERS AND WILL BE VOTING MCCAIN IN NOV. STICK THAT IN YOUR HATS SUPER DELEGATES
If you truly supported Hillary, then you also supported the issued on which she was supposed to be campaigning. Those are pretty much the same issues on which Obama campaigned. So what exactly is your reason for wanting 4 more years of Bush?
Spoken with such spite and vindictiveness. You and your candidate seem very well matched.
Why HRC as a VP choice? I have read so much about how the Democratic party cannot win the election without her on the ticket. Are we that shallow in the talent pool as a Party? Are we saying that there are no other qualified candidates for VP? I feel certain that this great Party of ours can find some outstanding VP candidates that are not as polarizing, nor carry around as much negative baggage, as HRC. Give the Democratic Party some credit. We are the party of change and we have a huge pool of intelligent, talented people to select from. I would personally like to see Gov. Bill Richardson on the ticket. Obama fell short in some states with the Hispanic vote. Richardson can help with that. He is also a seasoned statesman and has a great reputation domestically and internationally.
The problem with voting for Hillary as an Independent is that it would take away from the Democratic ticket and in all likelyhood give the presidency to McCain after all. As much as I would like to see Hillary run as an Independent to show the country how much she is liked and wanted as President, it would only serve McCain the vote on a silver platter. We have to get together on this issue, sooner rather than later, before it's too late to do anything useful for the Democratic ticket.
wendyo
Let's all remember one little fact that we are all forgetting. Obama was not elected by the voters. He did not get enough delegates to win in the elections. He was shoved down our throats by the superdelegates and Nancy Pelosi who couldn't bear the thought of not being the most powerful woman in Washington.
I believe he will lose without her on the ticket. Already 12% of the white women who voted for Hillary have said they will vote for McCain before Obama. On the other hand if Obama does pick Hillary as a running mate he will undoubtedly lose his life to the Arkansas flu or whatever means of getting him out of the way of Hill/Bill.
BINGO! You hit the nail right on the head. Do you honestly believe that Hillary's "Bobby Kennedy" remark was a simple gaffe?! Sorry, but I think that was her not-so-subtle way of hinting to Obama that she'll do whatever it takes to position herself to where she wants to be. That broad is just downright evil. I don't understand why SO MANY people can't see through her bull$&!#
I believe that's why she didn't concede tonight. If she bows out and he decids to "commit suicide" the DNC could select anyone. If she's still in the race, she wins
BINGO!
If Hillary Clinton is on the ticket along with Obama, it is close to a sure bet that the Democrats could take the election. With almost anyone else it's like giving the Presidency to the Republicans! Wake up Democrats and see the writing on the wall for the first time during this primary.

Barack Obama is going to be the next president of the U.S., and I'm guessing will be a refreshing change from the last 7-year tragedy. McBush is a disgrace! He had been treated terribly in the 2000 campaign, but panders to the Bush-Cheney crowd and has been for the past few years.....he wants to be president so bad he'd sell his soul....(probably has already)....Go Obama........and don't worry about the race or religion baiters.....they are obvious bigots and should be treated with disdain.
He should offer the VP to Hillary if he wants to win in NOV. 2008, he got this far with his suppporters, but he does not have Hillary supporters on his side, if Hillary supporters all cross over and the regular McCain voters vote for McCain, then Obama will most likely lose out to McCain. I know because I am a Hillary supporter, and I will not vote for Obama unless Hillary is on the ticket, if she isn't, then it will be McCain.
How can you call yourself a Hillary supporter if you're going to throw your vote away to McCain if Hillary is not the VP? I'm a Hillary supporter as well, but I'm not going to vote for McCain under any circumstances. Do you think Hillary will want you to vote for McCain if she's not VP? If Hillary in not selected as VP, I will still vote for Obama. Winning for the party is more important than the individual candidates.
This is a difficult time. I wish I could just enjoy the moment because I support Senator Obama. I know there are a bunch of unhappy voters out there and it could have been me instead of them. Our party is very divided in how we view the candidates. I feel just as strongly as many HIllary supporters to... If she is put on the ticket, I will not vote for Senator Obama. I can't vote to put Hillary in the white house as VP for many reasons similar to the ones that kept me from supoprting her for president. I would not vote for McCain but I would not use my vote to give power to the Clintons. I wish everyone well. I really do and I think we all have to vote our hearts and our consciences... I won't feel comfortable until Senator Clinton concedes and I know that Senator Obama is not being FORCED to put her on the ticket.
Are you serious??? You wouldn't vote for Obama if Hillary is on the ticket? Are you a real democate or better yet a real American? I am so sick of people say they hate her but can't give any reasons why...start to think for yourself instead of following the crowd and see how much further you will get in life!
