HRC is not, and will never be about, real change. She's a politician and plays the same game they all play. I would love to have a woman in the presidency, but one of quality and unquestionable moral character. I can't even begin to recount all the scandals and corrupt dealings she has been involved with. HRC for VP or President.....I'll never vote for her. Democrats want change and that is through Obama.

    TO: loriw & temerahluv,
Are you serious, if any thing happened to Obama it would not and could not be Hillary's fault. And even if you do not support her to hint that she would love to have Obama killed off so she could step in and fill the void is pure ugly. Since these words came from your comments should we be concerned about you two how ever? Politics is one thing, wanting some one permantly out of the picture is different.! Shame on you, with Democratics like yourselves I think republicans are looking pretty good right now.

There are a many great women out there who beore long will be great presidents. Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton is not one of them.

Hillary has the brains, drive, connections and political clout to really effect change in Washington. Obama, though a wonderful speaker, does not. As a team, she would bring that drive to the table and be able to work on developing the ideas that mean a lot to her such as health care and civil rights. That would leave Obama free to develop a plan for the economy and foreign policy. As a gay man, I know that Hillary will defend and strengthen my rights in this country. Barack's double speak on the issue and his association with that looney fringe of the United Church of Christ scare the heck out of me. At least McCain is upfront - he disagrees with and won't support my lifestyle. With Obama, I feel he is deceptively accepting of people to win their trust.

Food tasters? Bullet proof helmets? if"something happened"? It's hate mongers such as you two morons who ruin the Democratic reputation and spirit. Congatullations to both candidates for their history making courage..and for giving the Democrats a reason to be interested in their party again.

Do you all really believe that HRC is evil incarnate? I am an Obama supporter (have been since the beginning), but would definitely vote for HRC or any other semi-qualified Democrat over a Republican. If Obama decides that she is the best person to be his running-mate, then so be it. I will vote for them. The Democratic party absolutely must UNITE to change the direction our country is headed. Otherwise, we won't get our troops home in the next five years, gas prices will continue to skyrocket and the country's neediest citizens will suffer more than they have since the Great Depression.

Remember the Depression? My Dad does, and if he's not mistaken, we're headed in that direction right now. Not everyone, though. The wealthiest will be fine. The rest of us will wait on line for bread and cheese.

If Obama is elected president, don't be surprised if the Rev Wright surfaces somewhere iin the White House

What a joke. John McCain, with all his bags (he doesn't have enough to be called baggage) is slowly marching into the White House. Bush isn't going to hurt him, McCain is a hero. The house divided shall not stand. All the talk of a united Democratic party, is ludicrious. The very word democratic is an oxymoron. The people rule? That's what it means. There has never been a consensus among the democrats. Chicago is the blackboard for that circus. No, friend, John will march like the victor he is up Pennsylvania Avenue.

All you anti Hillary Clinton naysayers - in case you haven't noticed this is not a popularity contest. So you don't like her personality, (I happen to like her for her strength), we are voting for the best person to run this country, not the best cheer leader. So she's got baggage, all the candidates that run for public office have baggage, you have to get past that and get the job done. Hillary Clinton has proved she can hold her head up and get on with the work at hand, so let's try to get past this "oh I don't like her because she doesn't smile, ot she is too emotional or not emotional enough". Not to beat a dead horse, but we are voting for the best people to run this country, not to win a popularity contest!!

Oh well, I guess we better get ready for 4 or 8 more years of the same. I doubt very much Obama will win the election without her on the ticket. God bless us all.

Obama absolutely should NOt even consider Clinton for VP! Why would he have a VP that wants his job so badly that you she might be capable of doing anything to get it. He would probably have to hire food testers, and wear bullet proof helmets and vests to all cabinet meetings. I somehow feel J. Edgar Hoover has been reincarnated in to the female form this time around!

The Bible says "the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. " Romans 13:1-2. Therefore if Obama has won it was ordained of God. At the general election if he wins it is ordained of God. But if McCain wins it is ordained of God. There is nothing no one can do about it. What we need to do in America is "Watch and Pray."

Nothing you can do??? How about voting? God helps those who help themselves.

If the Democrats want to win this election, and Obama is the winner of the primaries, the best thing that could happen would be to have Hillary Clinton on the ticket as the VP. You would have the best of both worlds taking into consideration all the Democrats and their views. Each would help balance out differing points of view, and add to each others areas of of expertise and experience.

What a strong and forceful way to take back the White House, and give a breath of fresh air to our presidency, without seeming to over do it. I truly believe we Democrats can show the world once again that we are a country to be reckoned with if we do the right thing and put these two stong courageous people in the White House.

It's time to unite as a party, and put aside petty differences if we want to defeat the Republicans this fall. I sincerely hope the Democratic "powers that be", can see their way to doing the right thing and uniting us all to take back the White House for all Americans.

This is also an open plea to all Democrats to look at this primary and election as a chance to show that we truly are the party of the people!

Obama can, and will, win the election as a Democrat. I have no doubt of this. The vast majority of Americans are tired of the George Bush Republican era. They have had 8 years and their popularity is at an all-time low. We all know that in politics money talks. Obama has a huge surplus of cash compared to McCain. This amount will grow even more disproportionately in the future. He doesn't need HRC to win.

Sorry, folks, but Hillary is showing her true 'snake' colours. She said that she would be interested in the VP position, just to 'help the Democratic party'. Yeah, sure...if you believe that, I've got some houses I'd LOVE to sell you at an adjustable rate! What she's done is very insidious: first, she's taken the dominant position by having the press focus on her and not Obama. Secondly, by making this offer, she's put Obama on the defensive. If he accepts her and they win, all she has to do is wait it out 4 years, 8 years tops, Then she runs for president again, claiming even more experience, strength, the ability to walk on water, yadda yadda yadda, ad naueum. BUT - if Obama turns her down, she has effectively made him look like the Bad Guy who doesn't care about the Democrats. She's put a serious dent in his campaign. If Obama loses to McCan (to which Hillary is praying to all her gods to happen), she has another shot at the Whitehouse in 4 years. Dick Morris had predicted about a month ago that the Roving Ambassador of Love, i.e., Bill, was advising her to tear Obama down so that she wouldn't have to run against him again in 4 years for the nomination. Morris was right!

The constent spin and manipulation of thoughts by MSNBC and News Week and other talking heads that appear on shows like hard ball and other afternoon shows has been as transparent and predictable as the .com crash the real estate bubble, and the lies of the Bush admistration ...
If the dems want to win this fall she must be the VP ...or we will lose ......look at the history of this country ....the using of an Afican American and the abuse and neglect of a woman .......wake up America the media needs drama to earn money not to tell us the true story,

vote and demand truth with your heart , gas is not 4 dollars based on demand it because the Bush family has billions to pay back for stealing two elections. Omama is the nominee because the democrats who have done nothing for the last 8 to 10 years hate Bill Clinton and are paying him back for his selfishness by turning on Hillary

you don't have to believe me but i will take what ever money there out there that if you don"t combine the two we are dreaming the red states are lying back waiting for Carl Rove to win again ....don"t be nieve and don"t listen to medai who think they are smarter or more important then the people they report about they just have more air time ..........I am a bad speller but not stupid

  • Posted By: plecobabe @ 06/03/2008 11:55:06 PM

i hope McCain will grab Hillary Clinton as his running mate too.....that would cinch the race for Obama!!! All the voters who realize what she is will even vote against their own man to keep her out of the White House, in 2009, or in 2013.

  • Posted By: wendyo @ 06/03/2008 11:54:48 PM

If Hillary Clinton is on the ticket along with Obama, it is close to a sure bet that the Democrats could take the election. With almost anyone else it's like giving the Presidency to the Republicans! Wake up Democrats and see the writing on the wall for the first time during this primary.
