See that just validates my point. It can't be in any way what Hillary is saying or doing---it is how the male chauvinistic pigs reports about what she is doing.
How dare they display on the news the actions of Hillary Clinton.

They should be looking the other way. Keeping their mouths shut about her slef-gratifying behavior. Not telling us about it.

    LOL
And by the way--calling the the media chauvinist pigs is just anotther way to denegrate women. Are you trying to say that there are no women reporters?

If the claims of this article hold merit, then it shows once again the true nature of the Clintons with fierce illuminosity. They are not concerned with the "people." They just lie right to you face and tell you that if it helps to get them whatever it is that Hillary "wants."

She is not about working class women, she is about Hillary. The fact that she does not want another woman chosen as vp is a FACT that proves it. She is not about propelling women into more common ground for equality--she is about making history for herself, even if it means holding women back.

Would choosing a woman for vp help in the cause for women everywhere? Would having a woman vp not be historic?

    Of course it would.

But that is not what Hillary wants. Though she will tell you she is the candidate for women's right.

Anyone who's buys into this brand of bs just has to be wearing perma-blinders. How can so many supporters watch and listen to what she does--in the facts of her own actions--and choose to twist and spin in it anyway they can to make it sound less selfish, rather than actually step back and say--"you know, there is something really rotten with what THE CLINTONS WANT?"

I am a life long Democrate that is not comfortable with Obama. If Hillary is the VP perhaps a voice that would at least bring some reason to the table would be there. After reading Obama's books, Dreams of My Father and The Aduacity of Hope, I have real questions about Mr. Obama's true goals. I think Hillary would put at the table some balance to this.

  • Posted By: Micky Marsh @ 06/05/2008 9:32:34 AM

I didn't like a lot of Senator Clinton's political stratigies; However I still believe she should be given a fair chance to be Vice President, I believe she learned many things from the campaign and she is smart enough to capitalize on her mistakes. Many are against her for vice president and thats why choose her, because against all odds she make the best Vice President.

  • Posted By: nsnappnc @ 06/04/2008 5:30:41 PM

I think Hillary just simply need to go ahead and concede. I mean what else is there for her to do. Give her support for Obama. He is the nominee now. I'm glad. No, I don't want her on the ticket. I think she and her husband have been in the white house long enough. Besides if anyone has paid attention enough. It is not her who is pushing this VP thing. It is Bill that is pushing it. He wants back in the white house so bad he can't stand it. I'm sure after last nights speech Senator Obama will not only listen strongly to her but adopt alot of what she had in mind. It is his choice who he puts on the ticket to some degree to be his running mate. But, I sure don't want Hillary there. So let her concede now as she should have done last night. She is just trying to draw more press for herself. Only goes to show you how self absorbed the Clintons are. nsnappnc

She is one smart cookie. She is using this time to leverage a position as VP, or other seat within Obamas cabinet before handing over all her 18 million supporters. If she conceded this leverage would have been lost. Will be interested to see what happens in days to come or even in the next wk. or so.

      • Posted By: Alvy @ 06/04/2008 5:50:20 PM

Frankly, I'm not sure what the big worry is about. If Obama secures the White House even with Hilary on his side he has alot more to worry about than controlling the Clintons. Don't forget all the good old boy white male liberals leering behind the scenes who will need to teach him the ropes and can't wait for their pay back for supporting him from day one.

  • Posted By: colemanj @ 06/04/2008 1:54:53 PM

Why is it Hillary responsibility to now "UNITE" the party?? You Obama supporters have "won" (and I use the word loosely) the nomination, yet continue your tiresome tirades against Hillary. Get on with it already. Turn your hatred to John McCain. IF the millions of people who voted for Hillary had any faith or trust in Obama, we would have voted for him in the primaries. But, let's see, Hillary actually won the popular vote. So you Obama supporters may just be out of luck at election time. And that is neither Hillary's fault, or her responsibilty.

    • Posted By: northwesterner @ 06/04/2008 2:00:26 PM

Hillary did not win the popular vote if you look at the numbers with "realism" instead of "Clintonism". Alos, do not forget that 18million people voted for Obama. The disingenuous speech yesterday and the fawning over her every move is revolting. She lost, everyone knows it, the anger out there should be with her and her campaign, not Obama and the media.

      • Posted By: News and Notes @ 06/04/2008 2:43:04 PM

Sorry, you can't tell people how to channel anger. Obama is a smooth talking, manipulative, empty suit

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 06/05/2008 9:02:27 AM

He won. Hillary lost. Who is really empty?

        • Posted By: 12waz @ 06/04/2008 3:14:55 PM

Well said n & n. Though it appears that Obama supporters have no trouble channeling their anger. I'm amazed at the ignorance of Obama supporters - still. There is no concept of the big picture. "Also 18M people voted for Obama" What was the point of this statement? 18M people also did NOT vote for him or as the Obama camp likes to whine - they voted against him. 18M votes aren't going to win him the White House and just how many of those 18M have come down from the Kool AId and pep rallies and how much of the youth vote will still be interested when it's no longer cool and it's a new school year? Just how much of the speech did you watch/hear northwesternwe?

          • Posted By: Alvy @ 06/04/2008 4:50:05 PM

So, who was angry and bitter again?
Blah, blah take my vote, blah, blah blah.

            Idiots.

          • Posted By: northwesterner @ 06/04/2008 4:29:16 PM

I watched the whole speech. She was defiant, selfish and dividing. Did you watch and listen to Obama's speech; it was Presidential and appealing. If she continues with this tack she will lose all viability as a poitician period.

Also, to suggest that 18 million kids finished their Kool Aid and pep rallies to vote is small minded and misses the entire point (expected). Most Dems do NOT WANT HER TO BE THE CANDIDATE! Get it?

    • Posted By: limitless88 @ 06/04/2008 2:06:10 PM

It is Hillary's responsibility, because she's the one who is creating division by continuously insinuating that her supporters will not support for Obama unless she says so. The majority of Hill's supporters are so die-heart Clintonites that they will not budge unless they first have her command to do so. Also, her decision to not conceed that Obama also creates a divide because she is still behaving as if there is still some sort of choice to make for the Democratic nomination.

Finally, she keeps saying that she supports unity, but, if you listen to her speeches, you'd notice that they are not filled with messages of unity, but with emphasis on how qualified she is to be the nominee and how unfairly her voters have been treated--her speeches are all about her, not about the Party.

No one is forcing Hill to unite the party, she's brought this responsibility on herself. All she has to do is to make good on her promises and begin backing Obama, then true unity will follow.

      • Posted By: News and Notes @ 06/04/2008 2:38:46 PM

Obama has divided the party, not Hillary.

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 06/05/2008 9:01:02 AM

Wrong. Hillary did all she could to damage Obama and the party just to win.

      • Posted By: 12waz @ 06/04/2008 3:05:57 PM

You appear to possess limitless ignorance. Clinton nor her supporters have caused the division. Clinton supporters are not cult followers as you suggested. She can work 24 hrs/day for him and nothing she says will make them "budge". Your words and the continued MSM treatment of her less than 24 hours after her last primary win is showing Clinton supporters just what you think of them. You're certain he doesn't need her supporters and then go on to bash them - where is the logic of your words?

    • Posted By: News and Notes @ 06/04/2008 2:07:13 PM

Thank you! Hillary got trashed by the DNC elites throughout the primary, and they made sure the weaker candidate won. Now the DNC elites will scapegoat Hillary if Obama loses? They want Hillary to be Obama's lap dog for the next 5 months, so they can toss her back to the wolves when she is done. Pathetic

      • Posted By: limitless88 @ 06/04/2008 2:19:16 PM

What?! Nobody's asking Hillary to do anything except get behind Obama and help support him, nothing more. The DNC is not dogging her out or disrespecting her, they've done what they could, but now, for the sake of the Party, it is time to move on to the General Election. Enough is enough.

        • Posted By: News and Notes @ 06/04/2008 2:41:58 PM

            • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 06/05/2008 8:59:58 AM

Yes and deep down she knows that. She will never admit it to anyone but herself.

          • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 06/05/2008 8:58:46 AM

I'm sorry. The party did not treat Hillary bad. She ran a poor camp and opened her mouth once two many times about Obama. Very sad. Her own party member. Not once did she defend him. He defended her.

        • Posted By: Alvy @ 06/04/2008 2:33:55 PM

It's not like she didn't blow the biggest lead in recorded history all by herself.

    • Posted By: Zig Zag @ 06/04/2008 2:08:12 PM

Gee, I don't know, maybe it is because all of the Hillary supporters keep crying fowl and threatening to vote for John McCain? I like the posts were people want to start the a new party. Instead of the slogan "Let's make America better" you could use the slogan "Let's make America bitter:.

      • Posted By: partridge @ 06/04/2008 3:29:23 PM

I like Obama alright, but there is absolutely nothing worse than Obama supporters. They interrupt presidential debates with inappropriate booing, call you racist if you don't want to vote for their candidate, constantly degrade older voters as something to be put out to pasture, do everything money can buy to bias the news media. Should I go on? I really wouldn't mind voting for Obama, but I would hate to give his supporters the satisfaction of a victory. McCain isn't that bad, not as bad as Obama's supporters.

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 06/05/2008 8:55:44 AM

Have you read any Republican supporters comments? Try not to. Vicious, degrading, threatening and more. I could go on.

        • Posted By: Zig Zag @ 06/04/2008 5:20:55 PM

Yes, please go on about how McCain is better than Obama supporters ... because that's the choice, right? Either you put McCain in office or all 17 million of us.

Hillary needs to come out and explain the voting system because she has misled Hillary supporters to believe that she received the POPULAR vote and she didn???t. Remember Obama???s name wasn???t on the ballot in Michigan, and Hillary went to Florida to campaign at the same time Mayor Gulliani did. She did not follow the Democratic rules. It???s all about the Clinton???s manipulation and you believe THE CLINTON GAME. This is the stuff Obama wants to get away from???.this is what the Republicans have been doing to the US public for years. The rich benefit and those who buy into what Republicans (and Clintons) have done are just stupid. Sorry!!! What more can I say??????signed White Professional Female Obama Supporter from PA

    • Posted By: busby @ 06/04/2008 2:26:28 PM

She is slightly ahead in the popular vote. But that's not the issue. Do you people ever read? She doesn't need to explain the voting system. But someone has to bring the system and its flaws into the public arena. As much as you think Hillary's supporters were conned there are as many people who think obama supporters are being bottle fed koolaid. What don't you understand about the principle of one person one vote. Stop with the paranoia. No one has said that Obama controls the system. The party bosses, the corporations and the media do. That's the problem. The voters should control it or why vote?

      • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 06/05/2008 8:53:14 AM

Hillary is not ahead in the popular vote! Stop subtracting the caucus states! I thought you Hillary supporters were crying over Fla and Mich. votes? Those count but caucuses don't to you people.

    • Posted By: Core Democrat in Texas @ 06/04/2008 4:07:52 PM

My name wasn't on the Michigan ballot either; but she got more votes than I did.
Name or no name, that does not alter the number of people who pulled the lever for Hillary.
We know exactly what's going on with the popular vote.
On the other hand, we also know that Obama was given delegates that did not vote for him (uncommitted), and also the DNC took 4 more Hillary delegates away from her and gave them to Obama. What is misleading is the number of delegates Obama claims to have "won".

      • Posted By: Zig Zag @ 06/04/2008 8:05:24 PM

No, your name wasn't on the ballot - having @sshole on the voting cards would have turned some people off.

    • Posted By: News and Notes @ 06/04/2008 2:35:10 PM

Hillary did not campaign, advertise, or come to Florida before or during the election. Obama, however, advertised on cable TV in Florida before the primary

    • Posted By: 12waz @ 06/04/2008 2:32:13 PM

yo sis. More people voted for Sen Clinton than any candidate in history. That's absolutely true. Whether they were counted or not or whether he will ever admit he took off his name in MIchigan for pure political reasons is another matter. More votes were cast for her than anyone else. Period. And if you want to talk about Florida, which truly doesn't matter, Clinton did not campaign but Obama ran ads.

  • Posted By: sisterkate @ 06/04/2008 2:34:27 PM

Hillary has a vast majority of the Women voters, many male white voters and the Hispanic voters. There are more women in the US than men. Hillary could go it alone in November and could come out the winner.

Obama has a larger % of Women under 50, a larger % all Males , a larger % the popular vote, a larger % caucus votes, a larger % of the higher educated vote. Many of Hillary's votes were delivered through Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos", Hillary also uses a higher % of material to in the production of those Pant suits. I just don't think I could tolorate another month of those pantsuits. If she wants to blame the loss on something one must consider them Pant Suits.

Think of the bright side folks. If Obama should win, then once and for all, FINALLY, people like those clowns named below, those ignorant, mindless, cartoon characters of the black community who have used every opportunity over the last several decades to blame every ill in the black community on the white man will cease to exist. No longer will they be given any legitimacy, not that they ever had any to anyone outside of their own brianwashed community.

Should the highest position in the country be given to a bi-racial man, they will be looked on as the fools and clowns they are when taking to the streets for every "cause" that comes down the pike, across their desk when they can no longer moan about how the white man is holding them back.

The Rev.'s must be shaking in their shoes and robes, clutching at their chests, terrified that he may win and rip their flimsy platform from under them once and for all.

MY GOD, could this mean, dare I say it.......that they would hvae to get.................REAL JOBS!!!!!!

You are a pathetic individual, and thank god you are not an Obama supporter, as I am sure that you are the type KKK, Skinhead, inbred racist whose vote he would not want.

God Bless President Obama, it just flows off of the tongue, GET USED TO SAYING IT

          Hey Alvy,

It seems to be worse now that Obama has won. Some of these people should be put down like rabid dogs.

They already have real jobs - but don't worry, Barack won't make you get a job. You can continue to sit in your white trash trailer, collecting welfare while being surrounded by broken down cars and hunting dogs that get fed better than your kids, drinking you 40oz and writing this filth .
