Let the Second-Guessing Begin!

I got a few questions to ask about. what is obama going to do to help out the middle class? we the middle class people need help here. I see so many people foreclosing there homes it is not funny we are doing the best we can do here and everything just keeps rising and rising. Trucker are like 95% of the countries transportation what you gunna do to help them out. this country is just falling apart it's not good people wake up and smell the roses. BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!!!!!!

Great job Alterman. You said what many of us already know, The Clintons' sense of "entitlement" sent them down the wrong path. I admired the Clintons for many, many years. In fact, I was torn as to who to vote for. But as time went on, it was clear -- Obama was the choice. The way he's run his campaign is percisely the way I'd like to see the country run. And even whey Hillary, Bill and others took stabs at him, he remained cool, calm and collected. That's the kind of demeanor I'd like to see in my president. And all those who criticize him about Rev. Wright weren't going to vote for him anyway and are all too happy to try to make an issue of that. But I'm proud that the majority of Americans saw right through that and judge Obama based on the issues he stand on and the person that he is.

I actually emailed Alter once on his ridiculously slanted bias toward Obama and the insults he hurls Clinton's way at every opportunity. He emailed me back saying (as the senior editor of Newsweek), he didn't have to be objective at all. Period.

So its not surprising to see this latest hack job from him, frought with paper thinly velied worship of Obama and "kick-her-while-she's-down" insults of Clinton. I would love to go through the article word for word and explain why its a load of complete nonsense, but I don't have 6 hours to sit in front of the computer.

I hope those who haven't drunk the kool aid know that Alter is just another journalistic worshipper of Obama, thinking he is hiding his grossly obvious bias with red herrings and straw men "arguments" that have no basis in fact.

Clinton lost simply because of one reason-the media painted a negative picture of her campaign,saying she was loosing,when she was winning.I dare anyone to look at this from this angle and disagree. I believe the media was saying "no way she could win" when she was hitting states like Virginia and Kentucky.Media should be there to report news no create it,and create it they did.Be proud social engineers-NOT

Two FACTS why he won and two FACTS why Hillary lost!

He won becuase whites in Iowa came out for him in mass numbers. 1) Without them he would have been out of the race many months ago. 2) The vast majority of those who do vote in the black community, knowing little, if anything about where he stands on any of the issues or his policies, voted for him simply becuase he is "black"!

Hillary lost because 1) Obama played the race card from day one, which he has denied all along, and still does today; and 2) beacuse the media, and you included, are so skilled at leaving out the facts, truth, complete information, are biased, partisan, sexist, and little more than tabloid journalists at best. One need only look at the entire media's, both print and television, in the run up to the Iraq war and the cowardice on everyone's part to see just how complicit you all were in holding back in giving the facts, truth and being honest with the American peeple, the men and women who were slaughtered (both American and otherwise), and their families by your silence, half-truths, cover-ups and participation in the Bush deception, lies and fraud. And, also because the media was so biased in giving Equal coverage to EVERY candidate rather than just some aging exPow, a smug ex-CEO, a woman and a bi-racial man. Perhaps if you could have done your jobs correctly we could have all been spared this freak show and someone like Joe Biden who has the knowledge and experience and would make a much more solid candidate agaisnt a McBush would have been the Democratic nominee long ago.

One other flaw I would like to point out in the media and press coverage is your total lack of coverage on all this crap and bogus headlines about Obama being treated as the Messiah and his nomination as the Second Coming of Chirst. First of all he is NOT the fisrt African American to be nominated to the presidency of a majpr party. He is the first BI-Racial man. What does it take to get throguh your heads and the heads of the ignorant American public that his mother was a WHITE WOMAN????? He was raised by his white mother and grandmother because as is so prevalent in the black community and has been for decades, his black daddy took off when Obama was a child.

GET the facts Jonathan, tell your buddies to get the facts and then do everyone a favor and report them honestly or go write for the Enquirer. I'm sure they could use someone with your talents!

Because this is STILL a very SEXIST & RACIST country, despite the phony joy. The delegates who were supposedly loyal to Hillary turned into the true rats that there are, attaching themselves to the flavor of the month. No doubt about the analysis, right on target. There are lessons for all of us, especially here in Africa. Our chalenge here is not organisation, or Candor, etc, is simple respect for the opposition and voters. African leaders thrive on throwing the opposition into jail for whatever reason. Meanwhile the West never seem to find similar reasons since 18th century. The internet and T.V. are playing a huge role in making young African generation understand the role of the opposition and how the whole thing benefits voters. There is absolutely NO chance that we will elect a negro for President... this time! In the ever darkening society known as the USA, driven by an urban subculture, we will, eventually. The defeat of Clinton was brought about by Bill's stupid remarks and his very presence in this race... to our benefit. The Democrats still look very disorganized to all of America. John McCain will win!

Obama won because of the 2 minorities, women are far more HATED in positions of prominence than minority men. She had far more "WORLD-HATE" of females to overcome, than Obama had of being a brown-man. As the world sees it, ....at least Obama is a MAN. ALL USA PRESIDEWNTS have been MEN. At least Obama's Mom was White. So, he favored superiorly to Hillary. Hopefully, in the NEAR FUTURE, the world will begin to respect women as leaders too. Hilary was SO ABUSED, DISRESPECTED, etc. In fact, people expected her to "run-away little girl, and go play with your dolls". When she did not quit the race after losing Iowa, the ABUSE by the media and others got SO SEVERE!!! It is a MIRACLE she did SO WELL!!! THE FIRST CHANGE THAT THIS WORLD NEEDS, is to BEGIN RESPECTING WOMEN!!! After-all, no human being is on earth without being birthed by a WOMAN. Something to think about. And you women, who are women-haters, shame on you!! Women need to re-unite and rally for POSITIVE CHANGES that gives women respect, dignity, and great chances for leadership roles!!

Obama's failure is certain.

All that remains to be seen is whether it happens in 2008 or 2012.

To placate his get-out-of-Iraq-now supporters he will have to do just that: scram out fast and leave Iraq to bloody chaos.

That will pin him with a shamer-of-America label and will doom him politically.

But - poor wretch! - what is the alternative? Stay in Iraq and completely disillusion all the brain-dead folk who have voted him into office.

Next problem: the economy.

To please his followers he will have to spend spend spend, in a dire econoimc situation.

That will send the economy into a deep deep mess of overspending and deficit.

But if he doesn't - again, he loses his supporters.

So talk-your-way-out boy Obama has had it.

All Hillary has to do is keep cool and wait for 2012.

There is a short-term way of analysing things and a longterm way. I am opting for the latter.

Sharenews writes that the supposed tape of Michelle Obama calling Bill Clinton "Whitey" way back in 2002 is being discussed on FoxNews. Oh, yeah, that's objective journalism! Geraldo Rivera, FoxNews, and a tape that "is in network hands" but is not being shown, because they are saving it to kill off Obama in October. What a load of stinking manure. And if they really were saving it for October as a "surprise" why would they leak it now, which would give Obama time to prepare? None of it adds up. It is a shame that Newsweek can not see past Obama to understand the challenges that Ameriac faces- The future of Amreca, the economy and the ability of Amrecia to defend he values deomestically and internationally id fading because of bade economy.
