Reading the back and forth in here....first of all...Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim. Thats fact. Only people on cheap drugs would think otherwise.

Second, what in the hell is Hussein Obama doing leaving Howard Dean the chair of the DNC ? Oh ya..its payback to the DNC for carrying Barack Hussein Obama across the finish line. Lets just call this political expediency. You could say its bad judgment. Where's the ' Change ' and the " new kind of politics " Obama has preached for the last year ? An old wise man once said, ' the more things change , the more they stay the same ". Looks like Barack Hussein Obama is a politician with more of the same.

He's made about a thousand promises. How will he pay for all these promises and how much its gonna cost the taxpayers ?

On May 18, 2008 , Obama said " Iran is not a grave threat to us or Israel..if they do anything they know they won't stand a chance " and just this week he said to the Jewish congress " ..Iran is a serious and grave threat to the region..I promise the US stands by Israel now and we will defend Israel no matter what ..'.
A classic flip - flop ? A liar ? Inexperienced ? Political expediency ? You make the call.

I know, that's why I always put "Canada" in quotes. This is an old ploy, really juvenile and quite transparent. "Why, Obama is SOOOOOO bad, even people in other countries are CONCERNED." "I mean, my GOD, even the Canadians are up in arms about it.....WHAT SHOULD WE DO???" Well, I guess voting for Obama is just out of the question, I mean, for gracious sakes, the WHOLE WORLD thinks it's a bad idea!!!!

I was more clever than this in the 3rd grade...they are amusing though.

I care that stupid Obamabots will elect an idiot for President that will talk with terrorists with "no pre-conditions" in the Middle East while Canadian soldiers are being killed in Afghanistan today fighting the Taliban and Ai-Qaeda..thats why you effing idiot.....think outside the box for once....oh ya...you got no brains...your stupid friend Obama is the only dummy that wants to lead a country that says this. Europe is way ahead of the US in foreign policy. Ahmadinejad wanted to talk with no less , the Pope and other European leaders....they told him to take a hike. The Middle East is a lost cause. Its been a lost cause for thousands of years. USA hasnt learned that yet. So shut the eff up !!

        • Posted By: THE RAVEN @ 06/06/2008 6:16:51 PM

HA! What a joke. "Canadian soldiers"? Is there such a thing? NO! Your country is merely a third world country that is fortunate to have the U.S. next to it. Just think, moron, if the U.S. was not situated where it is now, there would be only your big, pathetic wasteland of a country, and Mexico. if it were not for the U.S., you dim wits would be speaking german now--along with your ruling country, England, and the rest of trashy europe. YOU shut the *** up! Your pope was a Nazi sympathizer who fought with them. Probably a pedophile, too. Do they have schools in candyduh? european leaders have ALWAYS been limped-dick morons. Those idiots got TWO world wars started, and if it wasn't for us, they would have had two more bay now. Too bad we didn't take over your pathetic country when we had the chance.

        • Posted By: deep_eye @ 06/06/2008 1:00:15 PM

Wow - a moronic AND angry response from an ex-Klinonista, turned McCain devotee - who knew?

          First, go f-yourself, cretin.
Second, what does Canada have now in these war theaters - all of 300 men, total - most NOT even in combat roles? I think even Italy had more troops committed. In short, Canada's contribution is miniscule at best and contributes nothing of substance - but please, get that LIE started about Canada's HUGE contribution to the war, can you? Have your pm pull them out, if it's such a big "effing" (to use your patois), deal.
Third, one of the major reasons WHY the foreign policy is so "effed up" (using your brilliant descriptive term, again), is BECAUSE we have not been talking with these people. Our response has always been, bomb the $hit out of them and then worry about it later - yeah, that strategy is brilliant, it will take us very, very far. Go ask Israel how well that policy has served them for the past 40 years - it's a winner, for sure.

Thank God, we FINALLY have a candidate who is at least willing to begin a dialog.

Finally, YOU should be as "stupid" as Obama, if you were, you would have left "Canada" decades ago, imbecile....

Today in the Chicago Tribune Obama makes a statement about Rezco:: Sen. Barack Obama, calling the saga of convicted Chicago power broker Tony Rezko "a sad story,'' suggests that he has had plenty to say already about any support that he had drawn from Rezko in the past and is focused on the presidential campaign ahead.

"Obviously, he was a friend, he was a supporter, he raised money for my campaigns,'' Obama said in an interview with Tom Negovan of WGN in Chicago. "Now, he's a sad story of somebody who clearly crossed the line.''

Obama never wants to talk about anything he always says the same thing , he wants to focus on his campaign!
Of course he wants to change the subject. He has engaged in the CHicago pay to play politics with Rezko. Obama helped Rezko get $14 mill in state funding for projects inside Obamas district. The Sun Times found proof that Obama wrote a letter urging the state to give the money to Rezko. Rezko paid him back by helping buy his house. People need to wake up and see Obama for who he really is!!! NOOBAMA!!!!!

This is why Hillary cannot be his VP choice and I say this with no disrespect to the Clinton supporters.

    1. Her Iraq war vote, this is Obama???s # 1 talking point against McTeleprompter

    2. Hillary takes federal lobbyist money; that goes against what Obama is trying to change.

    3. Rethuglicans are pushing Hillary if you notice they want her on the ticket if you watch the ant-American fox news channel..

    4. The few disgruntled Hillary supporters want to prove Obama can be pushed around. Also some of Hillary???s insiders may try to undermine his decision making if she is on the ticket..

    • Posted By: All4America @ 06/06/2008 8:56:57 PM

Should Hillary accept the VP slot if Obama offered it?

I don't think so! She is too smart to make such a brainless political move.

It is clear to her - as it is clear to so many of us - that Obama's candidacy will crash and burn as McCain rides into a comfortable margin victory in the general election. Why would she want to be any part of that?

Hillary would be exceedingly foolish to accept the VP slot in a Democratic ticket headed by Obama.

House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel teased Sen. John McCain on a Friday conference call with reporters, saying the notion that the presumptive GOP nominee represents "Bush's third term" has clearly become a burr under McCain's saddle due to its essential truth.

Pivoting off today's news of McCain's apparent flip-flop on President Bush's warrantless wiretapping program, Emanuel painted a portrait of near-constant agreement between McCain and the president on the Iraq war, the economy, heath care and government spending.

Referring to the Arizona Republican's widely panned Tuesday night address in New Orleans, Emanuel said: "When I was watching that speech, I was reminded of what Shakespeare said, 'Thou protest too much.' When he sits there and says, 'I am not George Bush and I wish you'd stop saying these falsehoods,' it's clearly hit a nerve because of the [truth of it]. ... And I think with core constituencies [of women, Hispanics, and working class voters] that are going to matter...when you look at the electoral map, he is not where George Bush was in 2004. He has a much higher negative rating with those constituencies and is well on his way on performing where Republicans performed in 2006."

Developing his analogy between the coming election and the thumpin' Democrats delivered to Republicans in 2006, Emanuel said the midterms amounted to "picking the lock" of an electoral map engineered by a GOP-controlled Congress, while Obama has the potential to "change the combination" of that lock altogether this November.

That would seem a bold analysis on the surface, given the conventional wisdom that Obama's support among traditional Democratic constituencies is weak. But later on the conference call, hosted by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, pollster Stan Greenberg provided evidence of Obama's potential to improve among critical Democratic groups -- citing a recent Democracy Corps poll that shows McCain's approval rating has dropped below the 50 percent mark in the last month among white union households, white unmarried women and older white, non-college men.

    RezkoWatch is here to stay!

Since Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.)'s favorite political fixer and personal real estate fairy has been convicted, several loyal RezkoWatchers have contacted admin with concerns that the blog will now shut down.

Oh, no, RW isn't going anywhere! We plan to stay right here as long as it takes to watch Tony Rezko and his merry band of Chicago thugs march one-by-one off to the slammer. Someone has to stick around and keep a running tally on how many more folks Sen. Obama tosses under the bus.

In case nobody has noticed yet, there's still a lot of time left before August rolls around and the delegates gather for the Democratic Party's convention. A presumptive nominee is just that???presumed to be the nominee. Until those votes are cast and the coronation has come to a close, well, there's a lot more to write about.

Should Sen. Obama be the official Democratic nominee, well, there'll be a lot more to talk about between August and November. Keep in mind, Tony Rezko won't be sentenced until September 3, 2008.

And there's that little matter of a couple more Rezko trials, not to mention those pending charges in Las Vegas. What happened in Vegas is going to follow Tony all the way to the pen.

Sit back. Relax. There's a lot more to come! As mohammeds always do...Squeal like a pig. oink oink oink

I am a white, female, Republican who will be voting for Mr. Obama come the elections. That Mr. McCain and my party will be using the "cling-to" church and guns comment that Mr. Obama made as a weapon in a campaign of FEAR, only tells me that members of MY PARTY are the ones out of touch with middle America. Mr. Obama's statement about church and guns tells me that he understands that we in America want and need someone or something that will give us courage. He knows that when we are feeling fear in our hearts about something, we bring it to God and ask for his help and strength. When we are feeling fear for our homes or families because of an intruder, we go to our guns for strengh and courage. This man actually "GETS IT" where middle America is concerned. John Kennedy was another young unknown with very little experience. Many feared his inexperience then, but he was elected against a campaign of fear, and became known as a couragous and just President. What a great thing it would be to have someone of John Kennedy's courage and conviction in the White House again. They are so very rare today.

Rezko scandal already casting shadow over presidential race
By MIKE ROBINSON | AP Legal Affairs Writer
    9:04 PM CDT, June 4, 2008

CHICAGO - A corruption scandal involving a fundraiser who bankrolled the campaigns of Sen. Barack Obama and Gov. Rod Blagojevich is guaranteed to take on fresh life as the nation heads into a hard-fought presidential election.

Chicago businessman Antoin "Tony" Rezko, 52, was convicted Wednesday of fraud, money laundering and aiding and abetting bribery in a plot to squeeze illegal payoffs out of firms hoping to do business with the state.

Republican spin doctors are already capitalizing on Rezko's ties to Obama -- the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

It is a scary thing sailing uncharted waters, but at every election, Americans seem to believe in Republicans version of family values and militaristic might. First, they say Gays are bad. Turns out there are many closets in the Republican Party. Then, they say Bill Clinton was an ???immoral man??? for lying, turns out Bush lied about WMD???s in Iraq. Now there are 655,000 dead Iraqi civilians and Americans think that karma is going away with the change of a new guard? At every argument against Obama, you have no case or basis for fact. It is all just personal attacks against a man whites are jealous of and fear. You call Michelle Obama ugly, yet you know only the poison fed to you by the state run Republican media. Obama has changed American politics by showing that our Democratic society does allow a young man of color from an unstable background to WORK by education and WORK through the rough streets of an American city to climb the ladder of success. Republicans should be admiring him for fulfilling the dream ???they??? helped make happen? Never mind that Obama has changed a whole generation of biracial and African American youth to rethink their doom and gloom futures; never mind that he was raised by a white woman of Kansan mores and an international world view; never mind that the US is in a Trillion dollar debt when Clinton left a surplus; never mind that Bush spies on us and has milked your tax dollars for the military industrial complex. You haters that voted for Bush have your childrens blood on your hands, but I can almost bet that every post here that hates Obama, has not buried a family member serving your hate, dying in Iraq?

Yes, yorkielover2, Mc Cain is frozen in the Bush Cheney policies, however hard he tries to claim that he is running on "change" . The use of fear to control a population is a totally unworthy method of governance. That came to be the habit of government following the tower collapse because it is so simple and effective and doesn't require any originality. It also makes it easy to hide mistakes behind a curtain of secrecy. Then, the method of campaigning in 2004 capped it off. The effort to discredit a candidate by distorting his military service has to be below the bottom rung of decency. It would be tantamount to the democrats smearing Mc Cain as an unworthy prisoner of war who betrayed his fellow prisoners and consorted with the enemy in an effort to harm the United States. Not true, of course, and we would never do that. The real remedy is simply to vote these unworthy people out of our government by an unprecedented landslide.

  • Posted By: bella12 @ 06/06/2008 9:48:00 AM

Hi Olderwiser, I'm heading out to the everglades to fish but I thought I'd make a comment first. I don't agree with all you've said but I do with a lot of it. I think Hillary's problem was that she shot first over and over again at Obama and he didn't deserve the shots. A Hillary supporter like myself was embarassed by her stradegy. Yeah she's mean too. It's time for everyone to understand that no politician who rises above the rank of City commissioner plays it nice or fair. There are so many deals you have to make and you must answer every attack. Barack either didn't attack or attacked very little. The racist comments by some of his advocates were hurtful but not to the extent that her supporters are going to vote for someone who will continue send our troops to the Iraq slaughter. In the end I think that will be the issue that will win for Barack. It's a little hard for me to believe that erasing the tax cuts for the Rich or expanding the Health care system, both of which i look forward to, will have any impact on the economy. the end of the iraq war certainly will. Bottom line Barack ran a cleaner campaign. He'll beat the tar out of McCain. Can you imagine McCain winging it in a debate with Barack. It's going to be a laugh. McCain will show up with his prearranged answers on the topics and when a question he didn't anticipate comes flying in, he going to get mad. I love it.

It would be a unique marriage and I do not know what to call it. I will simply call it "____________marriage", and other bloggers can simply fill in the blanks. Their blogging methods are just not decipherable to my limited mind. Repetitive Neurosis is the best that I can come up with on short notice. Anyway, guys, keep it up.
