Time will heal the errors that Hillary made in trying to get back on top. As Obama began to rise, she panicked and instead of trying to find better ways to elevate her position, she tried to tear her opponent down. The democratic party has to acknowledge that her declarations that Mc Cain would beat Obama if he won the nomination was unworthy of a democratic presidential candidate. That failure on her part to elevate her issues and the desperation that it revealed should have eliminated her chances of ever being president. It illustrates how poorly she would ever be able to act in an international crisis. We jerked her red phone, and for good reason. The worst part of it is that she did actually lose a small of her supporters to the opposing party, an unworthy deed in any book. The final healing will only come about now when she quits trying to make it seem that she is not through opposing Obama by seeming to claim permanent ownership of some millions of votes, as if she belongs to some mystical third party on her favorite issues. There will not be a ballot in November which provides a vote for Obama, Mc Cain and "Hillary's special Issues". Her only way to do this would be to foolishly run somehow as an independent. What a sad burial ground for the Clinton legacy. She may be mean, but she's not stupid. Things will heal in time. Mc Cain is toast.

Barack Hussein Obama has 10 close friends that either should be in jail or locked up in a nuthouse. Where do they put the several million Obamabots ? Put them in Iraq, Iran , Afghanistan etc., so they can make friends over there !

    • Posted By: bella12 @ 06/06/2008 9:01:01 AM

How many friends to you think you'd have if they knew you were willing to send our young women and men to die in iraq just to spite Obama?

  • Posted By: Ganpat @ 06/06/2008 8:21:12 AM

The story from now on is easy to foresee.

The media will do its duty and tell all Americans as many times as possible to vote Obama and save America's soul.

Come November, we will sit in front of the TV and wait for the results.

The TV will flash "McCain takes Texas, McCain Takes Florida, McCain Takes Michigan, McCain Takes Pennsylvania, McCain takes Ohio, McCain Takes West Virginia....McCain Takes the White House."

Hot, sweet tears will gush down Michelle Obama's ugly cruel face.

Cold sweet frothy wine will gush from my Champagne bottle and Hillary's.

Like millions of Clintonites I will have voted McCain, great American patriot.

    • Posted By: bella12 @ 06/06/2008 8:45:00 AM

And you will have voted for a man who will send several thousands more of our young women and men to die in iraq. Why? So you republicans can continue trying to justify a war that was invented by your idols Bush/Cheney/Powell/Rice and Rumsfeld using manufactured evidence to fool the world into supporting their dispicable plot.

For those of you are voting McBush to keep our solders over in Iraq do your home work PLEASE
    1. - Our soldiers are doing 2 and 3 terms in Iraq they have no relief
2.- Our soldiers suicide rate is up 40 %
    3. - McBush states we will stay the course, what course nothing has changed, but Dick Cheney company is over there working on a 10 year contract.

FACTS: The Bush administration misused intelligence to build a case for the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, the Senate Intelligence Committee said in a report issued Thursday.

"Before taking the country to war, this administration owed it to the American people to give them a 100 percent accurate picture of the threat we faced," Rockefeller said Thursday.
The report also found that the administration misled the American people about contacts between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda

griffin - By your comment "Dick Cheney" company, were you referring to Haliburton? For the record George Soros bought most of the Haliburton stock, Cheney sold his. Did you know Soros owns NBC, Newsweek and others? He also financed your mans run for POTUS. Doesn't that mean Hussein ran on Iraqi money?
And just to let you know, Bush is not running this time.
If Hussein keeps referring to McCain as McBush, maybe John can start calling him say, Ayers-Obama, or Hussein-Wright, or even Obama-Sinclair, that one fits him best.
Personally, I think wussy suits him the best.

Bingo!!! Reasons 1, 2 and 3 why McCain will not be getting my vote. What we have done and continue to do to our service personnel in both Iraq and Afghanistan is a disgrace. I think McClellan's book is a major nail in McCain's tire. The more people realize what a total BS deal this war was, the less likley McCain makes it - great!

      • Posted By: DallasTX24 @ 06/06/2008 3:17:13 AM

You know why I would not purchase the McClellan book. Because everything in the book I already knew. He surrounds himself (Bush) with a bunch of bobbleheads. I see shrub as a parent that can never tell his kids ( the American Public) the truth. Always trying to protect them because he knows best. Send Jenna and Barbara.

Barack Obama has exceeded expectations and he is capable of raising them! He is the most eligible person to occupy the White House for the next two terms! B.O. will walk his talk.

American stupidity knows no bounds. We are making history and all you haters can do is pull this Muslim crap out of your paranoid racists??? minds. Remember, it is Bush that hugs, holds hands, and kisses Muslims, why aren???t you demonizing that? America has fulfilled the time of spoiled fraternity brats and it has gotten youth killed, put us in debt, and divided this nation immensely. We are hated around the world; laughed at cause our President can???t even talk; and he allows wire taps and spying on his own citizens. Its called communism folks. Everything is ran by the state. Fox news is a state ran media; journalist are being jailed; his VP is a war profiteer criminal; and you sit there and criticize Obama with ridiculous Bill O???Reilly/Rush Limbaugh ignorance. Wake up idiots, America is growing into a fulfilled philosophy of real freedom and real change and if you miss this opportunity, then our soldiers die in vain from every war of the last 200 hundred years simply because you won???t wipe away an embarrassing past of a laughable culture called American and a history that was built on death, not life. Any living nation must change for the better, not the worse. We???ve had 200 years of the same white guy in the white house fulfilling and building a military industrial complex that according to Eisenhower, ???must never be allowed to outweigh and overpower its citizens???, but as we have seen since the Republicans killed Kennedy, the government since has fueled wars and ridded its whitehouse of anyone that does not contribute to death and destruction for profit. The elections have been and remain rigged, so I think Obama will probably be alright as long as he keeps the right people rich and fat. They criticized and impeached Clinton for getting blown, yet Bush kills young Americans and Iraqi children and women and all Americans do is yawn and watch American Idol. It is embarrassing to be American these days.

I've been reading holyroller for some time now, and I can affirm that he has improved mightily. If you look at his postings in weeks past, you will see this dramatic progress. Recently, he found the caps lock key on his keyboard, as an example, and without the caps, his points are much more presentable. Also, he has been in company with the many intelligent and analytical people who write in and elevate all of us, and it soon will start to rub off. Hooray for holy roller. We all love you. Keep 'em flying. Whether we agree with you or not, we would be lonesome without the view that you express. We always knew that you were out there, and you proved it.

No, he really is pathetically sad. I believe in free speech, but his trash and gutter musings demean us all. Support McCain, if you so choose, but you do not need to be an a-hole to do so and he is a major a-hole. Maybe Obama's election will drive him over the edge and a compassionate soul will have him committed.

Another little tidbit about the Unifier...just getting started..........

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) "employed and continues to employ senior staff who are members of the Nation of Islam and the presidential candidate has some 'worrying' ties to the controversial group headed by Lois Farrakhan," Aaron Klein, Jerusalem bureau chief for World Net Daily reported June 3, 2008.

You know, it would really be nice if we all stick to the comments that are actually going to matter. To do otherwise to to play into the hands of those that are trying to detract from the central issues.

Right now, if we can look at what these people offer, not whether their feet are too big or their postman smokes pot, we might be able to make some headway.

This is an historic moment for America. We have grown up enough to admit that a black person could have the ability to lead us. Especially in a very trying time. That is a monumental stride forward. I don't expect to hear a lot of the old crap that has gone before as acceptable. It is going to be refreshing, in many ways. This is like the change in the sexual harrassment changes that have been instituted across America for businesses. I was extremely tired of hearing the crass jokes, and the infantile humor that was being passed off as something that was acceptable. Maybe this generation is going to be the one that lays the prejudiced humor, the bad taste jokes and the unfounded opinions that have been circulated for as long as I can remember.

This is truly a start toward something much better. Have you ever noticed that when your mind is on something, it is very hard to concentrate on something else? Well having the background always being filled with derisive remarks and derogotory statements, makes it hard to go forward on real constructive policies and actions.

It might be that we actually get to a point where a person's skin color just means how much you are going to have to spend on SPF. Instead of saying "that Filipino man, or that black woman or that Chinese guy" we might actually have something else to describe people with. Have you ever noticed that they don't refer to Tiger Woods as "that black golfer"? No one would make that distinction, when you have "the best golfer in the world" to use as a defining quality. I'm sure we can find others for everyone also.

I'm really happy to be around during this period of time. I have been through all the bad ones, now it is time for the good ones. Thank God....

Obama is our president. By a landslide. He's growing while we watch. A natural. An historic milestone. How could we be so lucky. The contrast to what we have in office now is awesome.

Holy Roller is disgusting. "Squeal like a pig" is from the movie "Deliverance" in which a demented red neck rapes another man if I recall. It's great to have dissenting and differing views on these sites, but it's a shame that he has to get so graphic and ugly, particularly defamatory - "mohammed"? Obama is a Christian, you geek, and even if were Moselm, I'd still support him. We're fighting terrorism, not religion - or are you still stuck in the Dark Ages like most of your beloved gay Republicans?

    • Posted By: bella12 @ 06/05/2008 6:43:04 PM

ok i read his commments. He's a pig. He's may upset you but he's never made an intellegent statement in all of the months hes's been here. We should be focused on mcCain and his willingness to murder our soldiers just to save the republican Party. He can't deny that.

Comment: President Obama will secure world peace by reassuring world leaders that this country is no longer a threat to anybody. He will Wright all wrongs. He will make sure that no child is left behind and that no one gets too far ahead of others. All men are created equal and if they don't stay equal it must be because of some discrimination."

No...he will make sure no one STOMPS, KILLS, REPRESSES others to get ahead. Nothing wrong with getting ahead, though.

  • Posted By: notroubleatall1963 @ 06/05/2008 6:39:08 PM

How many deaths does Bush Jr. have on his conscience? Let's see - all the ones he put to death on Death Row when he was Governor of Texas, which put the state at the world's TOP executioner list, and shocked the rest of the world at our brutality. Then he's got 9/11, which happened on his watch, with the thousands who died there while he and his Administration did nothing in the runup to the terrible day to prevent it from happening. He then started a war in Afghanistan and we saw some "accidental" deaths there as innocent civilians at a wedding, just for example, were inadvertantly bombed.

But that's not even the worst -- how many hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis have we killed, maimed or displaced from their homes in this UNILATERAL war in Iraq? What is our purpose? To "spread Democracy"??? If that's Bush's brand of Democracy, I'd call it pretty deadly.

And this is the party that "Holy Rollers" in America support so wholeheartedly, while they continue to spread hate and evil throughout our country, under the guise of being "Christians" - get real, and get a live - vote for Obama!!!

    • Posted By: bella12 @ 06/05/2008 6:46:19 PM

Right on the money. don't expect any intellegent responses to the Truth only a mouth breather could deny.

  • Posted By: notroubleatall1963 @ 06/05/2008 6:42:56 PM

And we thought Saddam Hussein was bad - I'd say we have our own "dictator" in Bush Jr.

  • Posted By: bella12 @ 06/05/2008 6:27:19 PM

Holy Roller is not as bad as he seems. We've agreed on occassion but the stakes are getting high. A vote for McCain means more of our young and brave will be sent to the slaughter in Iraq. And for what? So the Republicans can claim that a war declared using fake evidence to fool the world into supporting the invasion was worthwhile. Bush/Cheney/Rice/Powell and Rumsfeld knew what they were doing when they manufactured the evidence. Now Holy Roller and other McCain supporter are knowingly supporting a man who will give more of the same. Aren't the lives of our finest young women and men worth more than a feeble attempt to save face. How can a person live with themselves after they have condemned thousands more to their deaths?
