    i dont see why everyone thinks its so wrong. im 15 and i want to become polygamous. i want my kids to have many people that love and support them and not just one mom and one dad.

    I have lived in Hurricabe Utha all my life. I have never seen a down syndron child or see a mongalode child either.. I went to school with the kids from the creak foe a couple of years, and they told me that there was a special place they took kids like that in phonix ariiz, and they never saw them again. They did so much interbreeding with each other that Uncle married Niese or 1st cousin maried first cousin all the time.

    Great...I live in Utah and now I have to look forward to seeing more of these "pretty" woman dressed in table clothes at Wal Mart with the 10 kids running away from them in tears. What a wonderful world we live in. I wish our government would have the balls to stand up in the name of morality and quit trying to cater to the everyone that commits these wrong doings. Also, to all my contractor buddies out there...I hope you look forward to seeing more of these goofy guys under biding your next project while their 10 year kid works along side them.

    For how long has it been going on? wondering how many kids are buried in that property, how many illegal abortions? The US an example to the world.

    I completely agree with and support religious freedom however, we as Americans also have the right to pursue happiness and it seems to me that a major issue being overlooked here is that these young girls being forced into marriage at the dawn of puberty, are never given the chance to pursue happiness. They are there to make someone else (a much older husband) happy and I can not help but see abuse in that. The fact that it was said that "But Keenum and others who have spoken with church members are not convinced that the wider community shares or condones Jeffs's behavior with underage girls."
    They obviously condone and promote the behavior of this horrible man because they still revere and worship him. Its sick and I think the state had every right and every reason to get involved the way it did to ensure the safety of these young girls (and boys for that matter).
    Hopefully, this whole experiene while trying and even traumatic, will show them that there is another world outside of the one they have been living in. And, if the cult (yes, cult) that they have been living with truly does not keep these children captive, then they will be able to leave and pursue that happiness that is their constitutional and God given right.

    While I am outraged at any sexual abuse that may have taken place and concerned for the welfare of teenage girls, the state's wholesale seizure of toddlers from their loving mothers was unacceptable and could be perceived as a threat to our nation's religious liberty.
