McCain should stick to promulgating his own views and stop misquoting Obama and attempting to denigrate Obama. McCain's war policy is the antithesis of the desires and principles of the American people. He and Bush have it twisted. Our real enemy is Osama bin Laden!!!!! American lives should nnot be spent in a civil war as is currently the case in Iraq. 'We need to spend one thousand percent of our resources, time and effort annihilating bin Laden and resolving critical domestic issues and problems that have resulted from Bush arrogance and ineptitude.

Obama is not black!! He is half white, 49percent Arab and the rest is african.
He is not black, so stop using the term black to describe him.
Call him cacusian or Arab, but not black. He is a strong believer in Marxism (see all his close friends) and a strong supporter of Muslims, especially Arabs (after all he is 49% Arab).

      On the other hand,
He wife Michelle is black, not only in her skin color, but also in her heart.

I say if McCain do put someone like Condoleezza Rice on his ticket as VP then we should write her name in For President.

Isn't that sad that we have to compete for a popularity contest like this is an american idol show? The truth is that obama talks out of the side of his neck and tells everyone what they like to hear. McCain tells it like it really is. The only thing that matters here is the numbers, obama numbers are added like this, 2 + 2 = 16. 9. The real truth is obama is just a fantasy peddler, selling dreams and lies. His numbers cannot work out and either he is a total liar, or blatantly incompetant. But worse is that anyone listening to his bogus numbers he is selling, then buys those numbers, need to learn how to count or I have some beach propertyin Kansas to sell them.

Is'nt it sad that we forget too soon. Just yesterday same issues were raised about Bush being the right candidate, and today that is History and a lesson well learnt. I personally think that no governement will be worse than the current administration and McCain is of the old flock and he and Bush are birds of the same feather. If the math is 1+1=30 by Obama standards I believe that is better than 1+1=2 by McCainBush standards. I would rather start from the scratch, make mistakes and learn than endure another 4 yrs of same political double standards that has taken everything that meant AMERICAN and trashed it like it is their birth rite, and hen have the audacity and face to look the American people in the face and clain they are doing a good job. Just like McCain is claiming that we are winning in Iraq. Is McCain suffering from Amnesia? or is it that he just dont get it.

There is no difference between Bush and Obama.
Both came without any experience in International affairs, and both promised "Change" (remember I am a Uniter not a Divider), you can judge someone by the company he keeps, and Obamas company is alarming, they are leftists and arabists.
This is a strong indication in what he really believes (not what his handlers tell him to chant).

  • Posted By: one day one nation @ 06/09/2008 4:16:42 AM

People should be judge by the contents of there minds not the color of there skin. Saying that, I understand we have different traditions and backrounds, But if you think about it! Mankind originated in africa then spread out and populated the earth spoke different languages and cultures. I guess, What I am saying it is extemely ignorant to label or judge someone because of skin color or religion. That kind of thinking is ilogical!!!

It is sad to note that McCain believe's that we are succeeding in Iraq after the entire disaster. Is he suffering from Amnesia or he is just so out of touch from reality that he just dont get it. The Iraq war and all the political double standards and bruhaha has wiped out everything AMERICA reprents to the world and painfully to AMERICANS. The American people suffer content to appendix of every facets lack and yet we have people who are so myopic and set in their selffish ways as to elicit having McCain as Mr President. We tend to forget too soon, Bush was just 8 years ago and McCain and is of the same old floct and old ideas and their experience have only given the American people Misery, debt, death( of our young). People please wake up. If you hate what America standards for please consider the future of the younger generations. McCain has nothing to offer the American people. Obama has hope for the future of America not the decadent ways of McCain and his cronies.

I am afraid that since Mr.Obama has clinch the nomination, The real colors of White male America are about to begin to show. I have already read where several post syaing that they don't trust this man. I wonder what it is they don't trust. Is it the man or the color of the man that they don't trust????
I sincerly hope that Our country has grown to be able to not look at the color but the content of the man's character. But I think not..

    • Posted By: MOando @ 06/09/2008 2:36:55 AM

Does anyone ever proofread their comments? Seriously folks, many of you scare me because you sound so damned ignorant and yet you get to vote for the president. Obama is a flash in the pan. HIs current supporters will likely shift to McCain as we get closer to November. Once the ferver of having a half white, half black presidential candidate dies down, voters will start paying attention to the issues at hand and what the candidates plan to do about them. McCain's experience will win out in the end. But, to listen to the media, it's all Obama all the way. But those of us who are older and wiser know who's going to win, now don't we?

      • Posted By: one day one nation @ 06/09/2008 3:57:42 AM

Vote for McCain and be prepared for $10.00 gas, and the rich will still be exploiting your racism, while you hurt your children and grandchildren future because of the outside of your skin is different, Some of the rich predatory companies and rich opportunist don't care if you have the same color skin or not, Money is green. Explain to your offspring, Why someone skin color more important than there future well being.

    Mc

Mccain needs to stop misinterpreting and dinigrating Obama. The rest of the world knows the war was a mistake. Most citizens of the USA acknowledge the war was a mistake. Most congressmen know the war was a mistake. The real enemy is Osama bin Laden. Massive effort . resources and commitment should be spent villifying bin Laden and his horrific malice!!! Unfortunately, Bush has created a quagmire on the demestic front as well. That will take years to correct and McCain is incapable of correcting either situation because he is in denial and is probably intellectually incapable of comprehending the problems and their impact. I actually heard him admit that he did not understand the economy - a major domestic problem. His family values also leave much to be desired: His mannequin wife is the epitome of dysfunction - suggesting poor decision-making skills..

To Bermuda, McCain hadn't proved anything to no one. If that was the case he would lead every national poll saying he's the favorite. You might as well face the facts that a African American will be leading this country. Whether you like it are not, people will look at the overall picture. McCain is no different than President Bush and I don't see things getting better with him in office. I see things getting worse with him. It's funny to see how some people are, you would whether go though another four years of hell whether than see a African American as president. I bet you wish JOHN WILKES BOOTH was living.LOL. Obama 08

  • Posted By: Bermuda Shorts @ 06/09/2008 2:59:47 AM

Ok folks.......Iv'e said this all before. Obama can 'Talk the Talk', but he can't walk the walk! His theme is "Change"! Well, we all want change, but that my friends is much easier said than done! Obama seems to have picked-up a lot of baggage recently and people are taking a real hard look at him!

A lot of folks don't see him as a man of substance! And the kicker is.....The majority of working-class white Americans are NOT prepared to put a young, untested and inexperienced black man in the Oval Office, to run their affairs and the affairs of the USA, especially in very difficult times such as these!

  • Posted By: papa_be_good @ 06/09/2008 1:34:24 AM

Now, against Obama, that's a little different. First of all, Obama has more than half a brain. He's crafty, savvy and smooth and a disaster waiting to happen he will bring this great nation to it's knees I am a 70 year old democrat I have never voted republican in my life but my self and all my family and kin will this election .......The democrat big shots dropped the ball again!!!!!!!!

    • Posted By: Pearl Harbor @ 06/09/2008 2:53:02 AM

Yes, He has more brain. We drop big ball again! But what kind of Ball? a Socialist decend? His pre-Congress background working on a organisation with strong base on socialist and neo-communist NGOs and institutions such as the Code Pink? His major supporter was the America's Head of Socialist Movement? A Senator building his mass base at the young and even non voters. Who speak like a preacher? Before, they were working nondescript! Now openly made an alliance with Democratic Party? A cluster of global organisations touching base with countries like Venesuela and the Cuba and even some hardline socialists in Eastern Europe. Hiding in Chicago Illinois for the indoctrination of the Black People? No become very visible in Africa? Who are you kidding? Brains... He doesn't even know the meaning Market Economy and Capitalism.... the EXISTING STRUCTURE OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMIC SYSTEM? He cant even grasp the idea "taxes", "subsidies" are all transfer pricing that makes the market system inefficient? That when you conduct Economic Analysis based on the framework of Economics textbook written by American Authors will tell you: Least government intervention as much as possible to ensure effieciency? And if we don't like that, we can go to China and or some parts of Europen including Russia where the System Obama's advocating is more similar to those countries' framework? Who are then to judge if he has brains? Call him best in Oration? But Brains? Unless shrewdness, half-truths (worlds used by the Serpent to decieve the Woman).? But never brains. Don't compare about 20 years of experience with the 4 years... whose background is memorising Law Book? Can you get 1 gallon of fuel by memorising books?

Now tell me? Where is the place of Mr. Obama in American System? Let me answer that for you. Destroy the current system and build an new America: CHANGE.

Sorry but I have seen and read all about that from Hitler and Moa, and Castro. to name a few.

Yawn. What do we have? Drug use, un-solicited racial comments (whites just want to vote for him as an apology) and a bunch of non-sensical panderings.

Really if this is all you have to run on you should be worried.

Easy. The one who doesn't want us to occupy Iraq for the next 100 years. Obama.

And if you don't understand why this wouldn't be a "peaceful" occupation or like Korea or Germany then I'm afraid I can't explain it to you.

  • Posted By: collegevoter @ 06/09/2008 2:28:10 AM

Dude you just compared JFK and Obama to Hitler and Mao Tse Tung.

The first rule of politics: don't compare anyone to Hitler. It's over the top, and completely loses your point.

  • Posted By: Nins @ 06/09/2008 2:23:27 AM

Here's some change you can believe in: the amount of times McCain has changed his values and positions on the issues.

The reason half of the conservative Christian right hates McCain is because they think that they can't trust him. McCain started his career as part of the Christian right (there's a little-known fact). Once he landed in the soup as part of the Keating Five (which almost derailed his career) he positioned himself as a liberal and became a reformer for campaign finance in an effort to resurrect himself. For those of you who don't remember, the Keating scandal had to do with some shim sham corporations pumping money into McCain's coffers. So McCain became a reformer to shine up his tarnished image, and that was his first departure from the right.

Other, more serious betrayals of the right came later, after McCain got swift boated by Bush in 1999. The great Texas Republican political machine laid McCain to waste, and McCain was mad as hell. He started voting against the party line and against Bush. He suddenly supported abortion rights, opposed the Bush tax cuts, co-sponsored a patient's bill of rights with Kennedy and Edwards, and got on the environmental bandwagon with John Kerry. My gosh, he even tried to crack down on gun shows in legislation he put forth with then-Democrat Joe Lieberman. And in 2001, when Senator Jeffords of Vermont switched from Republican to Independent in an effort to counteract Bush's stranglehold on the Senate, McCain announced that he was considering becoming a Democrat, and went into a pow-wow with Senator Tom Daschle at his Sedona ranch. And did you know that John Kerry floated the idea of having McCain as his VP in '04? That was to have cemented his status as a newly-minted Democrat.

But instead of joining Kerry, McCain suddenly switched his affiliation, came out in support of Bush in '04, and jettisoned his liberal image. Suddenly, it was the "old" McCain from the 1980s back in the saddle, the neo-conservative, take no prisoners Creationist. Against abortion. For the war. The SAME man who opposed a Federal amendment banning gay marriage and openly met with gay groups now was pushing a gay marriage ban in Arizona. The SAME man who said in 1999 that he was opposed to overturning Roe vs. Wade, now suddenly in 2007 is promising that he will stack the deck in the Supreme Court with religious right judges and overturn Roe vs. Wade.

But the religious right isn't so sure about him. He's supported so many different opposing positions at so many times, that they are afraid that they are getting played in the name of McCain's political expediency.

Here are videos that show clips of McCain reversing himself on the same issues at different times, to give you an idea of what I am talking about. Don't believe me -- get it straight from the horse's mouth:

To all the Hillary supporters who said they will vote for McCain. Please, vote for him. He already said he is going to work to have Roe v Wade overturned. Women will already loose one of there rights. What else will they loose. I just don't want to hear there mouths when young men and women keep dying in Iraq and Roe v Wade do get overturned and our economy keeps going down the toilet. Please don't say anything. I hope those family members that lost a love one in Iraq meet every last one of you. I hope you can look them in the eyes and say I voted for McCain and I did it because we didn't have the first woman to be President. Then I hope you get ready to see your sons and daughters go out to Iraq. McCain said if the numbers in recruiting is low, he will weigh his option and start drafting. This is what you will get. So, for you angry Hillary supporters, I hope you are ready for all of that.

    • Posted By: teiyali @ 06/09/2008 2:16:36 AM

How ignorant are you, voting for whomever is something very personal besad on an individual's view of the candidates running. McCain will win the White HOuse, and it's not because of color of his skin, it's because he seem to have a better brain than you have. The war is something we ourselves into, whether it was right or whatever caused us to go to war. I think you need to shut your mouth and stop critisizing leadership. YES, I lost a son in this war, and I stand for completing what we started and stop being a chicken like yourself. Hillary is a strong lady and would be a damn good leader had she won the democratic party, but whatever and whoever will win this race, let it be the Americans' choice, not yours.

  • Posted By: Slave of The Subduer @ 06/09/2008 2:15:22 AM

I am more shocked at how short sighted the American people can be.
With what has already happened in the past 8 years with "bad government" politics.
"The Bush and Friends Show" have failed the people on so many different levels.
Plus his administration did very well to scare the American people.
If Obama wins, he definitly has alot of work to do, on the inside of the country just to fix Bush's mess.
If Mc Cain wins, well... be prepared for something horrific to happen.
I believe the American people need to think this election, and consider which president would do the best for the world, not just the American people.

  • Posted By: fredysan2014 @ 06/09/2008 1:46:21 AM

I can't believe that people think that McCain is going to win after all of Bush and Republicans have done to this country. Please get real and start thinking the right way. Obama will win with a big margin. We are suffering the consequences of bad government and we will not allow this to happen again for the next four years. So, go out and vote for Obama if you love this country and stop racism. We need peace and not republican wars.
