How this John Mccain know about ECONOMY?let alone about climate change, In 1951, the family settled in Northern Virginia, and McCain attended Episcopal High School , a private preparatory boarding school in Alexandria.McCain had conflicts with higher-ups, and he was disinclined to obey every rule, which contributed to a low class rank.McCain did well in academic subjects that interested him, such as literature and history, but studied only enough to pass subjects he didn't like, such as math.Immediately after HIGH SCHOOL he enrolled and following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, McCain entered the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis. This his HIGHEST qualification when Military commissioned him as Naval Officer.(Perharps he's lucky with his family BackGround).Washington Lobbyist Pony back rides,,,,

GW Bush rush to Europe desperately try to cushion the Oil prices by trying to boost US dollar up,When Oil benchmark as being payment to US dollar he hopefully thought this can cushion the price of gas at home pump to stabilize from further increase of gas price at home. But he must forgotten that his actions do leads the American goods are less competitve to export cause more Americans will be unemployments.

By adopting this approach aslo cause higher deficits in balacing our already mounting growing debt. This exactly what happened if we voted for those idiots for FUN and for sakes of what you likes without proper vetting of candidates qualification, dinity, but only interested Where Sunday church will be didn't cares less wheither he knows nothing about economy and electing him during election day ,these idiots just know by letting the lobbyist dictated the country future.

The trade tensions with China have led to calls in Congress for adoption of punitive measures that would punish China for what critics see as unfair trade practices which have contributed to the loss of more than 3 million U.S. manufacturing jobs since 2001.

For April, the U.S. trade deficit with Canada, America???s biggest trading partner, jumped by 18.6 percent to $7.6 billion, the highest level since January 2006.

The deficit with Mexico rose by 14.2 percent to $6.8 billion while the imbalance with the European Union increased 14 percent to $8.5 billion. The deficit with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries rose 10.5 percent to an all-time high of $15.6 billion.

How destructive to the U.S. economy would a Barack Obama presidency be?

An exclusive Newsmax analysis warns: There could be a very rough time ahead.

Beneath Obama's flowery rhetoric lies a dangerous economic plan that will wreak havoc on the American economy.

Obama plans to return to the failed policies of high taxation coupled with an expansion of government spending.

Worse, Obama says he is absolutely committed to almost doubling the capital gains rate ??? something he will easily accomplish with a Democrat Congress.

In the coming months ??? when investors realize that Obama will raise the cap gains rate ??? there could be a stampede of asset sales as investors rush to take their profits now to avoid Obama's doubling of the tax rates next year.

All of these issues and more are explored in Newsmax magazine's special report "Obamanomics ??? the Coming Tax-and-Spend Nightmare," by Wall Street Journal columnist John Fund.

This Newsmax magazine special report gives Americans the first in-depth look at the Democratic presidential candidate's likely strategies ??? and how they will affect not just the larger economy, but your personal wealth as well.

Indeed, Obama makes no bones about his plans to go on a tax rampage. Not only would he increase the capital-gains tax rate from 15 percent to as much as 28 percent, he wants to allow the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, which effectively raises taxes on Americans by tens of billions of dollars.

He also wants to do away with the $102,000 FICA payroll tax cap, which means anyone making over $102,000 would pay an additional 7 percent in taxes on earned income.

And the loan dividend tax rate George Bush implemented? Under President Obama it will be DOA!

My question as a Virginian is, What has Obama done to earn my vote and my trust? Cut all the BS about change and give me some hard evidence that he has what it takes. Change can be great and I've never been afraid of change. But blind change is not something I'm willing to risk! Spin as you like but I think our party has made a big mistake with Obama. He has tons of potental but I don't think he is ready for the big time. Even if he wins it's quite possible we lose in the long run. I just don't think his speaking ability will make him a good Pres..No matter how much the press loves him somewhere hes going to prove his worth. Thats when we lose!

    • Posted By: catspaw @ 06/09/2008 4:37:42 PM

Don't make your decision now. Listen to the canidates, the debates will be the biggest part of their run for office. Let this help make your decision.

FYI, Abe Lincoln had even less experience then Obama in politics when he took office, and he became one of our greatest Presidents.

      • Posted By: varacefan @ 06/10/2008 3:49:14 PM

I understand what you're saying, but the problem I have with Obama is I'm a person that believes anyone can say anything. Some may say it better than others but that does not make it true. Obama has little or no track record. Being in sales I don't judge people by what they say. I really don't care how slick you deliver a speech. With Hillary we pretty much know what we had like it or not. With Obama we have no clue. Problem is with me I'm not sure there is anything he can do to make be a believer. There is just no trust there. We will see!

Excuse me, BUT, should the caption not be PAINTING IT BLACK???? Americans are STILL primarily WHITE and Hispanics don't like blacks, nor do Asians, So...unless Hollywood types and lunatics like the Priest quickly multiply...obama is a hopeless case..Personally, with Rezko turning himself in to Federal official in order to get off the streets and hoping to avoid a HIT....he'll be pretty safe, and not end up like Vince Foster...and he's gonna sing like a bluebird....and we'll be back to Hillary....Between Rezko, Wright reclaiming his pulpit, and the distrust of the PEOPLE....Obama will be lucky to be walking on the streets in November, much less in the Oval Office....

Little by little, the Clinton supporters will come around. What needs to happen is 1-Obama needs to announce a VP, and if not Clinton, put her in a PROMINENT place, and 2-The convention needs to happen, so it's done and over with, and everyone accepts the reality of his candidacy (that hasn't already).

Everybody stop!!! I can not believe this is 2008, I am reading these comments with my mouth wide open. Racial slurs, candidate bashing, name calling, etc. Listen people no matter who you are voting for, this a historical moment in our lives; who would have ever thought a multiracial candidate, woman candidate and senior citizen/POW candidate running for the most important job in America. Follow these rules: Sit back listen to the candidates of your choice....ask yourself, which candidate fits your views, and compare policies that best fit current issues: gas, healthcare, immigration, social security, etc., KEEP YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF.

Obama or McCain. Not a tough choice. Not every veteran is qualified to serve as President. This year, McCain is proving that point.

  • Posted By: rodeilnr @ 06/10/2008 7:08:25 AM

There are only two words that anybody who cares about freedom, liberty and individual rights should be considering when voting this year--Supreme Court. That is why Obama is the only sensible choice. McCain will stack the court with more conservatives who are less concerned about your rights than those who currently take up space on that court.

  • Posted By: Concerned Canadian @ 06/07/2008 5:02:24 PM

Nins.....you're comparing apples to oranges...those figs mean nothing. Fact is , Hillary Clinton's supporters will not support Obama. Obamabots have to be really really good at kissing ass or the 18 million of the better half will dessert you guys in the battlefield. Thats how life works. What goes around , comes around.

Yes, Keith Olbermann is a nutcase. He does that " Worst Person of The Week " contest on NFL Today or something. Well, he gets the ' Worst Person of the Week " award.

Hillary's supporters are gonna do one of three things ; 1 ) Vote McCain 2 ) sign as Independents or 3) write in.......conclusion ..Obama's historical quest will be ......history !!

    • Posted By: mmcgee @ 06/07/2008 6:07:03 PM

Because 18 million voters that supported Hillary are going to vote for a man (McCain) that intends to stack the court to overturn Roe Vs. Wade all because Hillary lost?
They will vote for McCain because he sees the war continuing until 2013?
They will vote for McCain so that he can reinstitute the draft and send their sons and daughters off to die in a war they don't support?
If they vote for McCain after these last 8 years they where never going to vote for Hillary anyway.

      • Posted By: citron16 @ 06/08/2008 2:04:02 AM

In this day and age no one will ever be able to overturn Roe Vs. Wade. No but no one has even brought up reinstituting the draft , your scare tactics are not working!!!! It is much safer voting for McCain than voting for Obama! NOBAMA!!!

        • Posted By: Nins @ 06/08/2008 11:50:20 AM

"Safer" to vote for McCain? That's right, John McCain, like Geo. W Bush, wants you to be very scared, so scared that you will let the GOP continue to control the USA. You know, I wouldn't object to that so strongly if they were doing a good job. But we are deep in a recession, the dollar is in a free-fall, and another Great Depression is just around the corner if McCain gets in and keeps up Bush's "good" work. Depression doesn't make anyone safe.

I am VERY worried about the economy. So are lots of people, including Rupert Murdoch, multi-billionaire owner of FoxNews and an arch-conservative Republican. Mr. Murdoch is supporting Obama, because he says that McCain is "weak on the economy" and that with McCain as President "the recession would deepen into a depression."

Warren Buffet, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and the richest man in the world is also supporting Obama, because he also believes Obama has what it takes to turn around our failing economy.

Honestly, I think that both of these men know more about the economy and more about Obama's and McCain's capabilities than either of us do.

Obama will win, and he will make our world safer.

      • Posted By: McCainwillwin @ 06/08/2008 10:26:12 AM

Why are libs so afraid that Roe Vs Wade is going to be overturned someday??? As long as there's a conservative majority on the US Supreme Court, it will never be overturned. Roe Vs Wade keeps the cancer of liberalism in check by aborting the future of the democrat party.

        • Posted By: Nins @ 06/08/2008 11:44:52 AM

That is a disgusitng comment. And one the Supreme Court gets a conservative (read religious right) majority, they will overturn Roe vs. Wade. McCain has explicitly, publicly promised that.

          • Posted By: corncernCitizen @ 06/08/2008 5:42:01 PM

Roe vs. Wade is still an issue? Repubilcans have played that card and even Christan right have submitted concession on that issue as republicans are playing that card to get the vote. That is why you see no so many republicans are not coming out to vote.

Major differences are Iraq war, health care, economy and global warming.
Now,s let go with Iraq war -- Except for liberal most of the people want it to end with honor.
Healthcare -- Clinton's plan is the only one that insures all, not Obama, but his plan will skyrocket the price since he wants only sick and old and with family to get insured, that does not happen. McCain's plan is a joke.
Economy -- Clinton's economy would be better, Obama at least has the experts on his side,
Global Warming -- McCain-liberman environmental bill was to reduce carbon di oxide, Obama has taken Clinton's plan and made his own.

Dear Concerned, the latest polls show that 37% of Hillary's supporters are thinking of voting for McCain or another candidate besides Obama. The latest polls were done after Obama won the nomination, but before Hillary made her speech on Saturday backing Obama. That number would be lower than 37% in a poll done today. And it will be lower still come November, after Hillary spends the summer campaigning for Obama. Obama will get at least 80% of Clinton's supporters. But he won't get any of the people like you, who pretend to be for Clinton, and pretend to be Canadian, but really are backing McCain.

    NE: 46,291 Obama / 118,092 McCain
    NV: 4,773 Obama / 5,651 McCain
    NM: 67,531 Obama / 93,674 McCain

    GRAND TOTAL: 16,928,770 Obama / 9,122,079 McCain

Some states are missing from the list. I did not include the votes of any states where one party held a primary and the other party held a non-head count caucus, because that is like comparing apples to oranges -- you can't fairly say that one or the other won. If you add all the votes, Obama is close to 18,000,000 and McCain is around 9,400,000.

Just think, Obama bested McCain like this, even though he was splitting the vote with his formidable opponent, Clinton, who walked away with half of the Democratic electorate.

The next time someone tells you that "Obama can't win the general election" you might want to refer them to these results.

Hey, Darlin', in case you had not noticed there are now more Democrats per capita in the USA than Republicans. Obama already got half of the Democrat vote in the primaries, and will get at least 70% of Hillary's supporters, as well as lots of disaffected Republicans (including me). I can't see him losing, just based on the math. And he has s good crack at winning not only Virginia, but West Virginia, now that both Senator Byrd and the Mine Workers Union have both endorsed Obama.

Obama has shown over and over what a great grass-roots politician he is, what a great strategist, with not only the will but the way to register new voters and take over the vote in key constituencies. You will see some VERY surprising upsets to the electoral map come November. The GOP needs good, thrashing. They have gotten so far away from what Republicans really stand for. Time for a wake-up call.

HIllay had more votes that both, but she's been kicked out by the Democratic party. Can you really count the primary to gauge the Nov election? There are about 62 million people came out and voted in 2004. With all do respect, democrats are fired, but if they had total about 36 millions come out and vote in primary. That included non electrol college votes. If 15% of Hillary voters switch to MCCain and this time 70 million people vote, perhaps there may be dead heat.

She did not win the popular vote. That's a myth. If Hill supporters are stupid enough to vote for McCain, I say good riddance. We don't need people like you in our party.

Let me also talk about the man in Conn who wanted to kill Obama. I want to show how white america hates black america so much. This man was getting bomb making materials and had an arsenal of guns and was going to go and find Obama and kill him. He said "no black man will become the President of the United States because he will be dead!" This is why Powell would not run. He was scared. For an african-american to be so afraid that a white person would kill him is so sad. This is what Obama has to worry about. So these women organization who talk all of this crap about sexism. Please remember, african-americans had it worst and some of you ladies was fighting so that blacks could not vote. Remember that. Not even Hillary will support you guys. That tells me alot.

Was this person identified and questioned? In this day of terrorism and attacks, this is not acceptable. This is disturbing from anyone. So called Americans of this caliber are not wanted or respected.
