Obama has a Jewish problem and it has nothing to do with rumors about being a Muslim and it has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton. Obama is Jimmy Carter II. He is too pacifistic. His foreign policy ideas are silly. They do hark back to the eras, and that is plural, of American isolationism and our hesitation to enter World War I and WWII calling them "European Wars." They were European wars until they started blowing up our ships and blowing up Pearl Harbor. Jewish people have to take our national security seriously. We can't dream that all our enemies will go away, or that they are the problem of other countries. Obama is not trusted by Israel - the shadow of an Obama Presidency on the horizon has caused Israel to become more hardline and I knew that would happen. Israel realizes that they cannot depend on the United States to protect them, and indeed they cannot. I am not sure we can depend on the United States to defend us with Obama at the helm. My vote goes to McCain.
You can throw your vote away on McCain if you want. I think all war mongers should vote for McCain. He certainly should have sewn up the blood thirsty vote by now. Meanwhile, the majority will be voting for Obama, for we're tired of war without purpose.
Who in their right mind would use an acronym "LOL" after a comment about exterminating the Jews?
Fick sucks. That's who.
The man wants to talk unconditionally with Iran, is supported by Hamas and thinks that Israel should put Jerusalem on the negotiation tables, is he good for the Jews? NO
We should talk with our enemies without putting a gun to their head first. This is just common sense.
The KKK probably supports McCain. So what? You can't control who endorses you.
This "problem" is definitely a myth, propagated by those that object to Obama for other reasons.

BEFORE you can get someone to change their minds about how they are doing things, don't you you have to agree to TALK to them?! How idiotic to think you can change someone's mind without communicating! Obama, or anyone for that matter, should be willilng to sit down and talk to legitimate leaders of any country willing to talk. He has said he would do that without "precondition", but not without apprpriate "preparation".
How can anyone end a comment about exterminating the Jews with an acronym "LOL"? Does anyone think before expressing themselves?
reedgadson has said it all. media, pay attention, lay-off the anti-semetic rhetoric.

In a Newsweek article entitled "Obama: Good for the Jews?" the following quote addresses the issue raised in this blog: "Almost unanimously, American Jewish leaders say Obama's voting record and public pronouncements paint him squarely as an Israel supporter." Enough said ... stop the lunacy and misrepresentation of one political candidate to just to exalt another. Obama or McCain will bend over backwards to serve Israeli interests and even security. This is what their respective political parties do best outside of selling out the interest of the American people.
I guess if Newsweek wrote it than it must be true. We all know how utterly objective the media has been during this primary campaign LOL! Obama's voting record? When he bothered to show up to vote you mean?

American voters should not get caught up in this facade of painting Obama as anti-Israel when what we need in a President is someone who is pro-American and anti-foreign infuence. As for the racists who seem to have infiltrated this blog with anti-Black anti-Muslim stereotypes ... you idiots must keep in mind that Obama has a heritage that is both African and Anglo; he has a Jewish given name and Muslim middle name; he has a pro-Israel voting record and Muslim supporters; and lastly, he apparently has you befuddled. Vote for whoever you will and leave the hatred and lying to idiots who hide behind usernames and smiles. God bless America!
"I will not vote for a candidate who admits he used cocaine for years. "
I don't know where you're getting your information, but it isn't a good truthful source - he did not use cocaine "for years". What do you think about Cindy McCains addition to pain killers, and the fact that she stole the drugs from charities? McCain would be a disaster. I suggest you get better sources of information because the ones you're using are not accurate.
How REPUBLICAN join forces be Nazi in USA
How Bush's grandfather helped Hitler's rise to powerRumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today's president.

Is is funny that the media and Obama supporters are now clamoring for supports from the Clintons so that Obama could win the November election. They finally woke up to the fact that Obama is not able to do it without help from the Clintons.
LB, the Clinton campaign told anyone who would listen to fear Obama. They implied the worst about him and suggested that John "Bomb Iran" McCain had their interests more at heart. It's not help that the Clinton camp is called upon to deliver, it is restitution and repair of the damage they themselves have done in the service of their own ambition.
grayforester said; the Clinton campaign told anyone who would listen to fear Obama. What proof do you have of this? I am so sick of hearing these unsubstantiated claims that parrot the despicable Obamabot bloggers that deluged the internet during the primary. These lies are simply campign propoganda perpetuated by the dirties campaign in history, Obama's. How do I know this? I have been blogging for months and have experienced the most foul and disgusting filth coming out of Obama supporters. (i,e one said he wanted to slit Clinton's throat) Nice, real nice. Clinton supporters discussed legislative accomplishments between the candidates, Obama supporters simply wanted to continually trash Clinton's character. CHANGE I CAN NOT BELIEVE IN.
And there is no way Hilliary could win without the unqualified support of Obama backers. So, what's your point LBENSEN?
And just as important, Hilliary could not win without the support of Obama backers. So, what's your point??????
People talk about his middle name as being "Muslim". Do the same people realize that his first name is a Jew name. Barack is the name of the former prime minister of Israel and their current defense minister.
I am pleased to see so many posts by ardent Republicans today. Though I disagree fervently with their diatribes against Senator Obama, it is important for those of us who support and believe in him to see this kind of vitriole every day. It reminds us how viscious, ignorant, rascist and fascist so many of our fellow Americans can be. It puts the fear and hate that are the foundation of Republicanism front and center for more and more people to see as the most serious problem in our Country. It helps motivate those of us interested in
returning our Country to "We the People" and not just the privileged few. It is sad to see some of the twisted, hateful and fearful comments; but, in the end, we must hear it to confront it.
Thank God, we are on the verge of overcoming the fear and hate. Republicans will no longer shape the future of America. The rich and priviliged will no longer shape the future of America. Their ability to attract the fearful and ignorant as their allies is diminishing.
I will vote for Senator Obama, but I do not fear Senator McCain. How ironic that the Republicans had to nominate him this time. They should have done it seven years ago. Think how much better off the Country would be! But, their fear and extreme right views ruled the day. How ironic that they just might elect a Republican who will swing them to the left ... away from the hate and fear. Senator McCain could be a good president. Or, he might sell his soul completely. That is the risk. Hopefully, we will elect Senator Obama and avoid that risk.
Finally, to some of the right wing bloggers posted today, I don't see much difference in your comments and those of some of the world's most violent, dispicable despots. All that changes are the labels used. They and you are probably beyond redemption. The fear is too strong and has lasted too long. How sad for them and for you.
Obama's flip-flop on Palestine/Israel is old news. Here's what he told his buddy in Chicago, Ali Abunimah, about his plans back in 2004 when he was running for the senate and had to start endorsing the Israeli positions in order to be electable: "Hey, I???m sorry I haven???t said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race.I???m hoping when things calm down I can be more up front."
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/125656
Here's what Ali Abunimah says about Obama's political rhetoric endorsing the Israeli position:
"Obama's about-face is not surprising. He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected and he will continue doing it as long as it keeps him in power. Palestinian-Americans are in the same position as civil libertarians who watched with dismay as Obama voted to reauthorize the USA Patriot Act, or immigrant rights advocates who were horrified as he voted in favor of a Republican bill to authorize the construction of a 700-mile fence on the border with Mexico."

Could not agree more with slb1113--just look at with whom Obama has kept company.
It is surprising to me that Sen. Obama's long-standing, strong ties to the Jewish community are not more well known. He has been working with the community during his entire political career of 20 years and has a 100% voting rating from AIPAC.
Proof of this please?
unfortunately, most people who blog, spill emotion, rather than doing the proper research b4 they open their mouth and put their foot in it...great job on what your saying and the research you put into your statement....thanks bunches :-)
Do any of you remember James ???Yousef??? Yee? He was that former Army Muslim chaplain charged with espionage while serving at Gitmo. It turns out that Yee will represent Obama for Washington state at the Democratic National Convention.
The two are a perfect match. Obama promises to not only close Gitmo, but ???reform??? the USA Patriot Act. He apparently plans to take those steps in between tea parties with state sponsors of terror.
Since the Pentagon in 2004 dropped charges against him, Yee has become a poster boy of the anti-war movement. He???s cashed in on his ignominy with a book claiming he was the target of ???sheer bigotry??? and was silenced for exposing ???systemic??? abuse of prisoners at Gitmo.
One of his biggest boosters in Washington is Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the Muslim convert who insisted on taking the oath of office on the Quran. Ellison is an Obama superdelegate who???s been doing advance work for Obama???s planned tea parties in the Middle East.
Last month, he told an Egyptian weekly that Yee???s ???case was dropped because there was no case to begin with.???
Nice try. Here are the facts:
1. Yee was caught returning to the U.S. with maps of Gitmo prison facilities, among other classified materials, and was arrested at a U.S. airport.
2. He was charged with espionage, mishandling classified documents and lying to investigators.
3. He served hard time in a South Carolina stockade.
4. Two of his Muslim cronies at Gitmo were convicted of stealing or mishandling classified documents.
5. Far from being exonerated, the military dropped charges against him to protect national security.
Guantanamo commander Maj. Gen. Geoffrey Miller, who originally accused Yee of spying, explained that there were ???national security concerns that would arise from the release of the evidence??? if the case moved to trial.
There???s no question that Yee, a captain who converted to Islam, was sympathetic to al-Qaida and Taliban captives at Gitmo.
At times, in fact, he acted more like a defense attorney for the terrorists. He complained that guards subjected them to cruel ???abuse??? and ???psychological torture.???
Waterboarding? Electric shock? No, they committed the sadistic act of mishandling copies of the Quran that Yee had made sure each inmate received.
Terrorist supporters of a feather flock together.
Right! Are you from Barack Hussein Ossama's Church?
Whatever
What about the anti Semitic articles on Obama???s web site. Currently some artcles have been taken down, but other articles are still posted by socialist for Obama. You can find these insulting articles under How The Jewish Lobby Worked.
For some facts, visit this page at the Simon Weisenthal Center, written by prominent Jewish leaders (from the ADL and other important groups) condemning the false attacks again Sen. Obama, who has been a strong advocate for the worldwide Jewish community. http://www.wiesenthal.com/site/apps/nl/content.asp?c=fwLYKnN8LzH&b=312458&content_id=%7BB03F16FC-B9E1-4AC9-BD73-3B410581C1E7%7D¬oc=1
I have great respect for the Simon Weisenthal Center; however, the brief letter cited condemns "hateful e-mails" using falsehoods and innuendo about Obama's religious beliefs "and who he is as a person," and asks that judgment about any candidate be on the facts. The letter does not address whether or not Obama has been involved with palestinian arab fundraising, his anti-Israel bias, his affinity with others in this regard, and his stance on Jerusalem. Again, I urge potential voters to check out what the Israeli news service Arutz Sheva has reported (see my postings below). See also Ed Lasky's revealing article "Barack Obama and Israel" in the American Thinker.
Why does a candidate have to blindly support Israel to be viable? Isn't there a Palestinian side to the argument? Even Bush is more moderate on Israel than it seems you want Obama to be. Get some perspective.
