My wife and I, NYC seniors are voting for Obama because there is no other choice to be made! There is no longer a collective American identity. Each social, ethnic, religous and whatever has their own agenda even if it means destroying the fabric of this nation......Maybe,just maybe, Obama can do something patriotic, lawful and restorative for the American people. I daresay most Americans are looking longingly toward a partriot crossing the rubicon and restoring this nation to the image of our founding fathers.

Jews hate Obama. And with good reason. He's a Holocaust denier, he doesn't recognize Israel's right to exist, and he wants to "talk" to terrorists like Ahmadinejad, who promised to destroy Israel and everyone who lives there. Obama is an antisemite, plain and simple.

    • Posted By: Cazador1972 @ 06/07/2008 6:03:01 PM

Do you have any sources for these hilarious accusations or are they "anal" in origin?

As far as him meeting with Ahmadinejad; he has no real power in Iran (as you know the power rests with the Ayatollahs and their holy council) and well, Nixon talked to Mao and all US presidents kept relations with the Soviets. I think those talks went well, didn't they?

Besides, Carter met with Menachem Begin and he WAS a terrorist as a young man. Now how about we drop the double standard?

      • Posted By: Divora @ 06/08/2008 12:23:02 AM

He was also a terrorist as a middle aged man, and a terrorist as an old man. Anyway, I didn't mean to disturb your Hussein Obama trance. I mean, a hive mind is a terrible thing to waste. And at least I can say one nice thing about this Obama character, he promised to nuke Iran. There. Now let's never agree on anything again.

        • Posted By: Cazador1972 @ 06/08/2008 5:13:44 PM

Obama PROMISED to nuke Iran? Divora, you need Prozac, or a role model or a hug or something!

When people post crap like this it makes you wonder if they really believe it, or think that someone stupid enough to believe trash like this would actually troll these articles?

Man was it great to see Sen. Obama punk that turncoat Liberman. Refreshing to see a Democrat with stones. I hope he made it plain to Lieberman that his days are numbered. Once the dems take a super majority in the Senate, his two-faced ass will be sent packing from the Democratic Caucus, neutered until the good people of Connecticut vote him out of office once and for all..

    • Posted By: jlynne @ 06/08/2008 4:25:20 PM

So that is what change we can believe means in -- threatening anyone who disagrees with you? Unity, then, must be mean silencing all the dissenters. After all, everyone is an uneducated bigot except for the Obama supporters who are naturally superior to all the Hillary and McCain supporters. If I needed another reason to vote against Obama, you just gave it to me.

Susan Rice is Obama's foreign policy advisor. I saw her once on CNN. Man , is she an amateur. Scary for anyone to take advice from her especially if you're a President.

again, your off the wall. Do you know who she is...tell me are you a Brookings Graduate? why don't you educate yourself at http://www.brookings.edu/experts/r/rices.aspx Ur BS smells, keep it where you are

  • Posted By: Concerned Canadian @ 06/07/2008 5:20:36 PM

Iamnotamused......you're a child....you do not know the ways of the world...I've been to many places , seen a lot of things and well educated.

The American economy son , is in a downward spiral. Canada's economy is red hot. Canada has job openings all over the place. Can't fill in positions fast enough. Housing crisis ? No such thing up here.
Everyone's buying houses up here. House prices are going up !! Our dollar has been on par or valued higher than your American greenback for at least 3 years now. Unprecedent since WWII !!
Just the other night in fact we met Americans from Colorado applying for work in Alberta , Canada. Imagine that. That speaks volumes.
As for sexism. The USA is still in the dark ages. Canada had a female Prime Minister 20 years ago, Her name is Kim Campbell. When Ronald Reagan was President, England had a female Prime Minister in Margaret Thatcher, otherwise known as the 'Iron Lady' . She sent the British forces to retake the Falkland Islands from Argentina. India had a female Prime Minister. Pakistan had one. There is a female President today in Latvia. Germany's Chancellor which is your equivalent as President has a female as the leader.
There are more example. So, the USA either disrespects their women or they are sexist like some are racist. You guys have some growing up to do. The world leads in this category and the US is struggling with the issue on a woman as President. So immature. And your Muslim candidate, Obama ? If he becomes President, that won't impress anybody or project the USA in a better way to the rest of the world. You guys make a deal out of it but the world is more mature about these things. Be careful though. Europe has a lot of problems with Muslims amongst their populations. To see a Muslim US President visit in Europe will be, well lets say, awkward , at the very least.

you know what an imposter this person is....just laugh it off. He is a full fledged republican, living in the states, pretending to be something he is not, and it shows. I am not going to speculate on his or her motivations for postings. Certainly cc you use to type everything in bold until I cought you in your bs, now I am catching you with the other bs about being Canadian...just admit it, and people won't have to call you a liar to your face.

    • Posted By: Cazador1972 @ 06/07/2008 6:24:40 PM

You know Canadian, for an "well educated" person you have pretty bad grammar. Your points are also baseless.

    • Posted By: mmcgee @ 06/07/2008 5:59:47 PM

You have to wonder why a "Concerned Canadian" would be sticking their nose in another countries politics. We already had enough of Canada interjecting itself into American politics this season and we can screw it all up on our own thank you very much. Of course chances are you are not a Canadian at all, but instead a racist bigot without a day job or a paid blogger considering how much you post.
Your ire for Obama is well known and one has to wonder if you actually think that your anti-Obama tirades will actually convince anyone.

The clintons had done everything in their immense power to malign Obama with disinformation during her failed campaign especially spreading the rumor that he was NOT Muslim . - as far as she knew! Lieberman [Liarman] should NEVER say that he is an "Independent Democrat" when he, in fact, is a very CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN and assisting his best buddy McSame even when he can't 'REMEMBER" what or who he is talking about in Iran or Iraq, Sunni, Shia, or insurgents! The look on McSame's face during that exchange was "sweet" since his expression was one of "dumbfounded confusion" and "huumh, whadda ya say"? At 71, his memory has left him somewhat senile and the reason I am able to state this with certainty is because at 65, I KNOW that my memory is playing havoc with my mind and I'm 7 years younger than McSame! But, McSame has another, more prevalent problem which is his exceptional anger management and I do believe it will get the best of him while he least wants as he debates with Obama for the GE! We will all be able to see him in action and it won't be pretty!

BTW, where was McSame's all important, made-in-China "flag pin" [he must NOT be PATRIOTIC] during his "lime green speech" where he was desperately trying to get the attention of all his three dozen supporters last Tuesday night as he stated his now infamous line that "we should all be able to deliver bottled hot water to dehydrated babies"? But for the priceless moments when we can see him with his "double talk express", I invite you to enjoy for yourselves the following link which will surely give you the best impression of McSame.

You can fool some of the people all of the time; and for Barak Hussain Obumer those are pretty good odds.

Obumer is scheduled to re-institute the army draft in 2009. I do not think he will be very popular with the college students after that.

The sickening part in all this is the exaggerated influence a group like AIPAC has in US politics.

Every presidential candidate has to almost genuflect to AIPAC and no high profile politician can say ANYTHING nuanced about it because they'd be thrown in the slippery slope of "antisemitism" and thus "just like Hitler". It is this sycophantic approach to Middle East politics that makes our foreign policy there so wrong-headed, one-sided and ultimately ineffective.

I've known holocaust survivors and have seen the visceral reaction to anything that seems to threaten their existence. How can anyone not wholeheartedly sympathize with that? But we can, and do, exaggerate that reaction and Israel then begins to be seen not as a "state" by the establishment but as an "ism" and THAT is dangerous. The height of that blind American sycophancy was evident when Israel was bombing Lebanon and Bush wholeheartedly supported it... This, while US citizens were STILL THERE and unable to evacuate!

The problem with that non-falsifiable mentality ("Israel can do no wrong") in the US is that it begins to lose the support of rational and fair-minded constituents. It in the end, when you polarize anything, it comes back to haunt you. Take it from me.

Getzel, you'd be funny if you actually had a point to make. But then again, it is probably easier to act like an idiot than to make a cogent argument.

No! Obama do not have a 'Jewish' problem. Obama has a problem with weak, cowardice, superficial media types that call themselves well informed or fair & balance, but regularly serve up seeds of division for the purpose of stopping the "hope and change" national movement.

You will see these media types on cable news, and hear them on talk-radio dicing up juicy misrepresentations of the truth and saucy falsehoods as though their ear-tickling rumors are newsworthy stories to be analyzed. The anti-Obamacans are mostly right-leaning, 'Impeach-Bill-Clinton' haters, or Regan Democrats disguised as new 'Hillary???ettes'. You find them liberally sprinkled within all three major cable news outlets CNN, MSNBC and FOX. The anti-Obamacans are in talk-radio markets coast-to-coast, severely slanting stories and purposely misleading those short on discernment. This is the Obama problem.

There was never a question about Obama's support and good relations with the Jewish community, as well as all other communities within the Illinois Senator's public reach. This includes Latinos, Hispanics, Asian, African and Muslim communities. But whenever the 'fair & balance' right open their mouths about Senator Obama, they are almost guarantee to spew half-truths, mis-directions, slanted facts or anything else that generates division between Obama and Jews, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, and especially "uneducated, low income whites". And when you compound this with the pretty face talking-heads of cable news and radio, where many of the pundits couldn't spell Mississippi or Louisiana even after spotting them all the vowels and 's', yet they have the impudence to repeat administration talking points as though they were fruitful facts like ???appeasement???. (Case in point - - watch the now famous YouTube moment when a well-known talk-radio personality humiliates himself on MSNBC as he pathetically failed to accuse Senator Obama of Iranian ???appeasement???).

"Obama told Lieberman he was surprised by Lieberman's personal attacks and his half-hearted denials of the false rumors that Obama is a Muslim."

In a way I am very glad about the poetic justice of this. When Greg Lamont won the Democratic nomination from Lieberman in '06, Obama did not attend a critical campaign in which Lamont, now THE Democratic nominee needed all the help he could get. Lamont lost to Lieberman in the general election. Now Senator Obama knows from experience what an ingrate rec coat Lieberman is.

The person who can hang Israel would be a U.S. President who can sell Jews a sugar-coated rope. Before Obama shows that there is not a latent Wright virus tangled in his genome, the risk that Jews will be unable to kiss the Wall of Crying is always a concern.

  • Posted By: Iamnotamused @ 06/07/2008 2:02:13 PM

Concerned-you are a riot. Do you KNOW any of Sen. Obama's "close friends" or are you one of them or are you reading more garbage on the internet? On one page you "support" Obama and then on another you trash him. We all know that Hillary's camp had a hand (or two or three or four) in creating a lot of the problems that Obama had during his campaign. People saw right through it. Now that I think about it, you STILL don't even vote in this country so why the heck should you care? Oh yeah, you're worried that when he wins he will snatch away your Candian job that rightfully belongs to one of us Americans. Gotcha.

Austin-you are guilty by association. I am sure, using the 6 degrees of separation, that at some point there is someone within those lines that doesn't like women, blacks or Jews. So I charge YOU with being guilty of the same thing because you know them and for however long and because of it you subscribe to everything they believe in.

See how idiotic that sounds? Yeah, that's what you're doing with Obama.
