    Why is the statement that Obama has a problem with the Jewish vote (which he does) so offensive to Andrews? And why does Obama's campaign blame all of this problems on Clinton, often using language with sexist undertones (Witchhunt!). If Obama wants to solve his problems with the Jewish vote he should distance himself from Jimmy Carter.

    But he doesn't want to.

    If you cannot say something objective in a "news Magazine" ; don't say anything. It will leave you with more credibilty as a journalist. Shalom.

    We are all supposed to be one nation under God. America should be first, foremost and only. No Israel. No Armenia,etc. No divided loyalties.

    None of Obama's problems are a myth ... they are all real. In fact he is nothing but one big problem, which is why Pelosi, Dean, Dashcle, Kennedy, Kerry, Durbin and on and on will all lose their jobs. I love BO's constituency ... blacks and young people ... since when do they vote in non-presidential elections. I can't wait to sit back and watch every single one of them lose their jobs, one by stinking one. Change is good and change is a comin ... we will have an entirely new party by 2012 and I can't wait.       I find it hard to believe someone as stupid, and misinformed as you can even read, and write...and yet you can...amazing. in case you haven't noticed the Republicans have got their ass kicked in every special election held this year. The Republican party is scared to death, and you should be too. It's not the Democrats that are on their way out, or haven't you noticed the exodus of republicans out of Washington this year. What am I talking about of course you haven't. It's hard to notice much of anything with your head up your a**. Blacks make up 13% of the population. They can't get anybody elected by themselves. I didn't know there were that many blacks in Wisconsin, Colorado, Iowa, Oregon ...wait...there isn't. All states that Obama won. Keep telling yourself he can't win. That worked out so well for Clinton...while he keeps
      winning. You should also make sure you tell that to all the independents, old people, whites, Hispanics, Asians, Jews, republicans, Americans living abroad that also voted for him. As President Obama is sworn in you can repeat that same refrain..."he can't win...he can't win...he can't win.

    Actually, Obama will be lucky to get 50%, notwithstanding his concerted effort to rehabilitate himself with Jewish voters. His prior statement in Iowa that the Palestinians are suffering the most and his expressed willingness to sit down with Ahmadinejad without pre-condition will not be forgotten.

              No. Republicans put him office. They didn't support their own candidate because they wanted to keep Lieberman in the Senate to continue to be their toady on the other side of the aisle. It worked. Republicans teamed up with Lieberman Democrats in Connecticut to keep the guy in office.

    I'm a Jew for McCain, and it has nothing to do with Israel (which I think is a silly country hell bent on its own destruction). the only Jewish problem for Obama is (potentially) Southeastern Florida.

    Jews are less than 2% of the American population, mostly concentrated in NY (A sure Obama win), California (a sure Obama win), and Florida. You might want to throw in Illinois ( a sure Obama win), and if it comes down to Ohio again (Cleveland: a sure Obama win). This story is just the liberal media being idiots.

So how about we all just abandon the vicious rhetoric and enjoy the day for a change? Do we really need Republicans writing "I HAT OSMA 9-11 4EVR NEVER FORGET!" and Democrats responding "Well, I rather dislike George Bush due to his poorly-thought out actions in the Middle East and his gross ignorance of the Marsilles Treaty of 1611, so there!" Is this really going to make all you guys happier tomorrow? Do you forsee yourselves being better people or more educated about the election by reading these posts and commenting?       You are correct that a menber of Congress was sworn in on a koran. Rep. Keith Ellison is muslim and was sworn in on a Koran, not that this should matter. But he's not Brack Obama. Or do you just assume that all black men are interchangeable?

        Why do we need "reliable sources" when it should flow from the horses mouth? Obama has to come clean about his education and stop playing us for idiots. He has not accounted for his time altogether and has no explanation as to how he learned to recite Muslim prayer. He has also made comments such as "the most beautiful sound is the call to evening prayer". What do your reliable sources have to say about that? NOTHING since there is no defending the truth.         Finally someone who hit the nail on the head. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but you are so right. For all this talk of change I see "more of the same with Obama" than with any other candidate. Everytime I see how slow and dull he seems under pressure I am reminded of the same look I saw on G.W.'s face the morning of 9/11. A prettier package maybe, but the lack of comprehension to what is going on around him and his response to it is the same. They keep saying, " if he surrounds himself with experienced people it will be okay" but we all know now that it is not true. He will have to bring it himself and it is evident he is incapable of that.

        Clinton folks need to let go of the talking points from the Clinton campaign. Do you not realize that these were used simply to try and draw contrast with Clinton? It's like an identical twin saying they are wiser than their sibling because they were born one minute earlier. It may be technically true that one is older, but they are pragmatically the same age.
