The big flaw is letting the Federal Reserve continue to devalue the dollar as its remedy for our ills. That, in turn causes scared dollars to seek a safe haven. Used to be gold, but now seems to be fuel and food. You can buy futures in these and watch the dollars multiply to try to offset their steady devaluation. That which early on looks like water thrown on the fire to put it out becomes gasoline as time goes by. Jump back, here comes the Federal Reserve with another can of gasoline.

I am VERY worried about the economy. So are lots of people, including Rupert Murdoch, multi-billionaire owner of FoxNews and an arch-conservative Republican. Mr. Murdoch is supporting Obama, because he says that McCain is "weak on the economy" and that with McCain as President "the recession would deepen into a depression."

Warren Buffet, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and the richest man in the world is also supporting Obama, because he also believes Obama has what it takes to turn around our failing economy.

Honestly, I think that both of these men know more about the economy and more about Obama's and McCain's capabilities than most of us do.

Obama will win, and he will change our world for the better. He will inherit a terrible mess left by Bush, but he will get through it.

The price of oil will only continue to rise as long as we all remain so dependent on it for our entire lives - we eat products manufactured with petroleum-based lubricants, we use plastics (PVC - polyvinyl chloride, made from petroleum), we consume medications and cosmetics, every day products all made from petroleum. We need to stop using so much of it to drive our fat asses around on a whim or to work. We need to CONSERVE - buy hybrids vehicles and vote for a President who has the BRAINS and energy to divert some of our passion for petroleum into alternative energy sources. Extricate from a wasteful war that utilizes way too much petroleum to fuel killing. Do NOT start a war with Iran - we can't affort it.

Just vote for Obama, I pity either candidate who wins having to inherit the damage.
