Out and Down

Hillary lost all respect when she refused to gracefully step down Tuesday night. How can such a selfish and ME person be expected to run or help run this country. Male or Female has no bearing on such selfish and refusing to accept the truth actions.

"People", and I use the term with disrespeck , are really stupid if they think it really matters what they think about h. clinton and her run for the highest office in this country. She had no business trying for the presidency because of all the crap her husband did in the white house and she just "went along for the ride". I'm certainly glad there was an upstart to run against her and her "husband". Sorry folks but there is NO RESPECT for him or her. How can anybody forget what he did and she just "let it go on by". I hope there are still some people who have "common sense" and giving her a vote of confidence shows how backward this country has become.

It is you, the media, that killed Senator Clinton's campaign! Senator Clinton was the best of all of the candidates. She won 17.5 million votes from men and women despite drawing out the nation's misogyny in all its jeering glory! The media commentary from Newsweek staff, who appeared on MSNBC, Chris Matthews, Tucker Carlson, NPR's staff, and especially Keith Olbermann, that consisted of snickering belittling of women was absurd! It wasn't just men though, Senator Clinton's campaign revealed the female sexism that is rampant in this country! We had to hear about her clothing, her hair, her weight, her laugh and cleavage! Jealous unfulfilled women like Maureen Dowd and Air America's Randi Rhodes should be banished from media reporting! However, women in this country identified with Senator Clinton because the the ever-present glass ceiling, sexual harassment, unequal pay for equal work, and years of not being respected either at home or in the workplace! The USA is a patriarchial society, and people are fed up with it, and the sexist nastiness splattered across the media, websites and blogs! There is a huge myth that exists in this country that all that stands in women's path is women themselves. After Senator Clinton's campaign, you know this is not true! Leave Senator Clinton alone! Senator Clinton is a tireless, tough, supersmart woman who should have been our President! Why not, Newsweek, report on President Bush and Dick Cheney to see what mischief they are up to, or is that forbidden? Also, don't even attempt to make your nasty article above seem to be fair by attaching many female names to it!

I look forward to 2012. I want Hillary to run again. I would also like the delagates to go away. We are not the same country as we were when they first were done. I believe every voter's vote should count. I am a vetran and was not going to vote for McCain just because he was. I do not call myself a democrate not a republican. I vote for the person I feel would be the best for the job and felt Hillary was the best, not just because I am a woman. With their view being very simular, I feel Hillary with her experience would have been the best candidate for President. If this was done as a regular job, Hillary would have won over Obama. People need to get over Man, Woman, Black or White. We as a country need to wake up and smell the coffee. And it needs to be strong coffee.

I think Hillary's depression will be greater, in a way, because she compromised so many of her "principles" in order to win. It would have been one thing to pull the race card, offend African-Americans, use images of Bin Laden, etc, and justify it with a win, but to sell-out AND LOSE. That's real heartbreak.

Now that we have discussed Hillary's narcissism, would someone like to comment on Obama's?

I am terribly disappointed in the irresponsible journalism of Newsweek. Depression is a serious medical issue and should not be used to sell magazines. As an African American and a well-educated woman, either of the two candidates were a win-win situation for me. Unfortunately, as a life-long democrat , I could never be more disgusted by the misogyny of the biased media posing as objective journalists or more ashamed of the DNC coup. All I can say is that many of my "sisters" shall REMEMBER come NOVEMBER.

I have about had it with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, the Kennedy's and Jimmy Carter. Carter put my dad out of job in the defense field during the middle of a cold war and the Iran situation. I don't trust Carter and I never will. I have been a life long democrat but I will vote aganist my party unless Hillary is on the ticket.

Obama won't have an administration. McCain will win because the majority of her supporters saw the DNC as being unDemocratic. Really, the DNC and Obama gave the election to McCain. OH Well!

Hillary has demonstrated she is NOT "well adjusted." Her behavior and statements were erratic. She is too ego-driven, as is Bill Clinton, to be depressed. Her health care bill does not need to be resusitated. Times and economy have changed. She came to the Senate as a carpetbagger...
