If Hillary is wise enough not to become an Obama sucker she can run again in 2012 when the public will be disgusted with him.

does anyone besides me see the irony of the "sexist" label the Cliniton supporters are using? If sexism truly existed towards Hillary Clinton's campaign and subsequent loss, then how on earth could she have become a two-term senator and a viable candidate for the office of the president of the United States? I don't get it!! Could her loss be due to a poorly run campaign; an ever evolving message.

To mom of nine---Apparently you subscribe to the adage barefoot and pregnant. The slings and arrows you hurl at Hillary seem to be selfhatred. To those of you who complain about the biased media--Obamaites are proving the power of the media by following with their unthinking votes (where are the Obama supporters who are supposed to be intelligent?). To those who think we Hillary supporters are disgruntled and cutting our noses off to spite our faces--I saw first hand the working of the democratics and no longer want to be associated with a party that is self-serving and does not believe in democracy. It is the party with which we are disagreeing. They have shown their colors and have put forth a candidate we cannot support. Obamaites can praise him to the heavens but the reality is that he is not fit to be president regardless of how you defend him. You have let the media as flawed as they are choose your president. So much for the intelligent supporters of Obama.. As to the premise of this article---Hillary has shown she is not the typical candidate and will be fine. She has more intestinal fortitude than any of the previous contenders who lost an election. Even idiots like Jimmy Carter who did not show the guts she did now piles on the negativity continuing at her. I think you are all still afraid of her, which shows who has the most power. Hillary will be fine. We still support her and she is well aware that she was the most qualified candidate even tho the election did not end as it should have. She will continue to hold her head high and go forward as well she should.

I think Hillary ran a good Presidental Race. It takes Nerve and Courage to ask the People of the United States for them to give you a chance to Lead their Country. I also believe She will make a excelent Vice President. The American People need a Change. Not only how the Country is Run but also in who Runs the Country. My hat is off to Hillary and I do hope to see Hillary sitting next to the future President Barack Obama. Everyone has the rights to voice and that is mine.

At her Baruch College event in NYC just a few days ago, Hillary Clinton added her name to a Major League Baseball that was inscribed by the famous New York Yankees catcher Yogi Berra with the quote: ???It ain???t over till it???s over.??? Bill Clinton also signed his name to the ball. I am offering it on ebay. This Yogi Berra quote summarizes the essence of the Clintons??? drive to win and their spirited campaign style. Don???t count them out from politics just yet.

Comment: Comment: HRC supporters - while I haven't been as successful as I hoped on this site, I have found many allies on other sites including noquarterusa.net and CNN. I'd like to rename our project: Operation Respect. The goal is to go after those who have used vile and malicious comments against Hillary and make sure there are consequences for them - in particular, the folks at Newsweek, MSNBC and their advertisers.

Initially, we just need to ensure we are not boosting rates at MSNBC and Newsweek sees their subscriptions drop (which will lower advertising revenue). Thereafter, we will go after the advertisers (just like the right wing has done successfully in some of their campaigns).. I will be back in touch with boycott details. Thanks to those of you who have added ideas and better tactics than I initially proposed.

Obama supporters - I don't think Barack is behind any of this nor is my anger directed at him (although some of you are really pissing me off calling HRC supporters, dumb, ignorant, stupid, etc.). Please stay out of this and let HRC supports redress our grievances with the people that are really behind our anger.

HRC supporters - I know many of you are angry at Obama. CNN polls show that 17% of HRC supporters will vote for McCain and 22% plan to stay home. I understand. The GE is 5 months away. In the meantime, let's see if we can bring down Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Howard Fineman, Jonathan Alter, etc., to at least take the edge off

Right about now I'm pretty disgusted with Oprah Winfrey, the Kennedys, and I have never liked Jimmy Carter! Cater put my dad out of a job during the middle of a cold war and the Iran situation I don't trust him and I never will. As far as Oprah and the others I can just turn off my television. As a life long democrat I will vote aganist my party unless Hillary is on the ticket. I am not ready for Mechelle to be first lady.

Yes,. she will deal with depression. So what. Suck it up and drive on. We didn't need a Clinton in the White House again.

I am also black, female, and well educated. I was really disturbed by some of the tactics Hillary and her team used in this campaign and in the beginning I really waffled as to who I was going to support but after the "White's won't vote for Obama" comment that came out of her mouth, I went solidly behind Obama. SHE said that, the press only reported it.

But if your issue is with the press, why would you say you and your SISTERS will "remember come november"? The press aren't running for President. Obama is Are you saying you're going to hold Obama responsible for what the press did? What about all the Reverend Wright business and that whole thing with pictures floating around of Obama in tribal dress and rumors that he was actually Muslim? Why aren't you holding the press responsible for that crap? Is it because Hillary lost and Obama didn't? Would you be as angry if Hillary had won instead?

Call yourself a feminist if you want to but be rational. Who ya' gonna vote for? McCain? Get real. It was an ugly run for both sides but no one insinuated that Hillary was anti-American, or of a religous persuasion that many Americans despise , or found a "Reverend Wright" type figure to parade out to the press over and over and over which almost killed the man's campaign. He prevailed through all that nonsense and because of that I am 100% solidly behind him and you should be too.

Its great to see you Dems are still fighting like children.. It helps guarantee McCain the White House. So Obama supporters keep gloating and kicking Clinton supporters while their down. This is one of the most important reasons I am seriously considering voting for McCain. This campaign of Hope fueled by Hate, even in victory, does not impress or inspire me. I have read it all through this primary season and it does not help your candidate. You should have stopped while you were ahead and not included this trash in your "informed" intellectual reasoning of support for your candidate. Go beat up on someone else. There are some cultures that do not allow a man to "smack" a woman to make her behave. Keep it up; you are making it easier and easier for me for November.

I spent the last hour or so reading the blogs. The female Hillary supporters on this site are amazing. They keep stating 'sexism and media bias' are the reasons she lost which as a woma totally infuriates me. The majority of the so called 'media bias' revolved around the statements concerning the historical facts of this campaign. After all, Hillary Clinton is a woman so pointing out she is the first viable female candidate for President was not sexism, any more than, pointing out Barrack Obama was the first viable black Presidental candidate was racist.

The truth is the preceived 'sexism' worked in Hillary Clinton's favor. The more older women felt she was being discriminated against because of her 'sex' the more they voted for her. Not to mention, the way some of the people on this blog sound, they only voted for her because she was a woman and the fomer First Lady. If this is the case, then, you dishonored her. I personally do not care for Senator Clinton. I do not see the 'experience' others talk about. She was married to the President, she was not the President.

If you claim you voted for her because of her policies concerning Heathcare, etc., then, the only logical choice in November is Senator Obama because their policies are almost identical. The only difference in the two Senators is their individual plans on how to implement said policies.

Therefore, those of you who are refusing to vote for him and only doing so due to reverse 'sexism'. He is a man ergo he does not deserve your vote.

This is one of the stupidest and truly reprehensible articles I have read. I am a Republican but I am really starting to feel sorry for Hillary Clinton. She is a decent person who doesn't deserve this treatment. I get the feeling that Smalley and Thomas are reveling in and thoroughly enjoying her misery. Get off her case! This kind of journalism (or shall we call it tabloid news) is why I cancelled my subscription to Newsweek last year after a 20 year continuous subscription.

I dont' feel the need to prove it to anyone. You don't hear me crying about it. I'm just pointing out facts.

But I do find it odd Hillary supporters want to have their ass kissed. It ain't gonna happen. What is going to happen is we're all going to get a choice between a Democrat and a Republican. You can vote how you want. Your candidate, Hillary Clinton, has clearly laid out to you why she thinks the only sane thing for you to do is vote for Obama based on the issues. Not on getting your ass kissed. But it's a free country do whatever you want.

Hillary didn't lose anything, she won a hell of a lot! I don't see her as being depressed, with 18 million Americans behind her. She seemed very up and sensible, and ready to go the mile to assure that a Democrat is in the White House. Thats her focus now. If that doesn't happen, thats when you might see her depressed, as well as millions of other Americans. I think she still has a good chance of being selected for VP. Considering how close Obama is running to McCain, it sure would be a strong ticket with both Obama and Clinton. I believe there are millions who think the same, including many important Democrats. It's just you sexist males that don't want her there for all the wrong reasons, and it could cost us another Republican regime. Even though it would be fun to say we told you so, I'd rather we not have to.

You had better hope that both Clintons help Obama win because the economy is in the toilet, the dollar is sinking, foreclosures and credit mistakes have ruined the housing market for years o come. It isn't just the sub-prime people now, it is everyone suffering from the fallout. The price of gasoline and stagflation will discourage recovery. The only reason the stock market has held up is because we have a global market that has provided a false sense of security. That too will crash eventually because the global market depends on America's enormous consumption, which is grinding down. Obama isn't going to know what to do unless he gets a lot of help. Our economy is much worse than most realize. T he housing industry held it up for several years but will not recover because almost everyone could qualify under the old credit industry's greedy scam. They will not now buy, forcing an enormous inventory of housing on the market that will stay or force prices down. In poorer markets the houses will just stay there empty, deteriorating. Building is already slowing with builders going bankrupt, workers laid off, construction purchasing going down. The poor are getting poorer, people can't afford health care and food even when they have insurance. Often they can't pay the deductible or co-pay. The government is busy ripping payments from physicians in Medicare. If we don't obtain universal healthcare, we will not have access. Obama doesn't want to mandate that young healthy people buy insurance, a fact that will drive costs up for those who are older or have pre-existing conditions. Insurance companies won't insure them without healthy young people to offset costs. It is a logical thing. Think it through. We are going to need major changes in this country. Obama is so ill-experienced to handle the mess Bush and the GOP made.
