    Lil Wayne, interesting lyrically.

Do I always wanna hear what he's speaking on...NOPE.

Do I love the fact that he consistently GETS HIS MONEY, not to mention taking the time to officially expand his mind at the University? Definitely.

Is he one of the ugliest MCs in the business? YEP.

Has he been on the airwaves for YEARS? Which proves that he must have something special.....I mean, he's been on the scene since Hot boys First came out. Does Puke make and spend money like he does? LOL.

Why do people need to hate? Congratulate. I bet none of you all can sell 10% of what this guy does on his back in a drunken stuper during a rainy seaon.

    HIP HOP...say it with me....UNIVERSAL ;}

Gets love all over the globe. So, if hip hop's a "JOKE", then all y'all making considerably less money and having WAY less fun and enjoyment out of your lil jobs...Y'all might as well KILL YOURSELVES.

Let's name this bad energy by sharkman(lol @ that name).....Hip Hop Envy.

    I love his music.

    What a musical genius.
What an inspiration for our nation's youth.
    What a hard hitting interview.

I hope this was you being funny.....
I'm hip hop forever, but I doubt my kid will be taking any hints on the way to live life from any MC.
Artists should not be kids "role models". Insire your own damn kids. inspire them to listen to the pain these people put on wax for us and understand the mistakes and the misfortunes others are going through so they don't fall into the same trap.
Oh and the interview wasn't anything I felt the need to laminate either.

I think the sizzurp has had a bad effect on him personally.

Exaaaaactly. These were the same old questions that have been asked of Lil Wayne in 6000 other interviews this year. With the record now out, there are many more important issues. For example... What inspired him to call Al Sharpton out on this album, for the first time voicing the true thoughts of the many who feel the reverend in no way represents their voices?

OMG. My kids listen to Lil Wayne's crappola music. He might, quite honestly, be the dumbest rapper alive. Seriously. And he's quite full of himself, too. He's proof that you can (gasp!) live without a brain. Or a clue.

To be fair though, they could've asked better questions... Questions about 'Ye and the mixtape DJ's, yada yada yada... heard it all before. The interviewer should've been a little more familiar with his music, (rather than just the hype surrounding him) . Wayne's made A LOT of songs about his reflections on Katrina. In fact there's one on his new album called "Tie My Hands" which speaks directly to the situation.

I truly agree with you. I feel that with a new album out you would ask more questions about the album and not about his personal life. If Newsweekly wanted to know more about him listen to the music it answers all the questions that they want to know .

Ouch. Quite possibly one of the most awkward interviews that I've ever read.

Better luck next time, Brian! Hint: Rappers aren't idiots, even if they're famous. Next time, try asking about music.
