    Wow--great post Sport. I hadn't read that.

      Don't buy into this b*llsh*t!

This was not from an "article" in the Wall Street Journal.

It was from the Wall Street Journal blog a "comment" section in which readers can attach their responses to an article.

In this case a Wall Street Journal article was posted in the blog on April 28, 2008 titled Rev. Wright Talks About Reconciliation.

The text that was circulated in the eRumor was one of many comments submitted by readers and was described as having been written by "Bill Cosby." There is no evidence whether it was the comedian, someone else with the same name, or someone simply claiming to be Bill Cosby.

I agree with you, right up to the end. The one good reason to vote for Obama over McCain is because we cannot afford another four years of gridlock in Washington that would come with divided goernment. Even bad actions at this point would be better than no action at all.

    • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 06/11/2008 3:03:33 PM

That sounds as if your saying the Democratic party would be unwilling to unite with the Rep party if their candidate does not win the presidency. Imagine that, the unity party will refuse to unite or only intend to unite with their own. Why don't we call them the hypocrisy party? The fact you said bad actions are better then no action at all scares the shyt out of me. Can it be true you are allowed to vote?

Obama is inheriting a bigger mess than FDR did. He'll be the least effective president ever if he's elected and serve one term.

    • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 06/11/2008 2:37:38 PM

Then that would be his excuse. I inherited such a mess I was not able to implement 1 single campaign promise. But if you elect me again I will be able too.

      • Posted By: Richard1327 @ 06/11/2008 2:44:55 PM

Won't work. He barely made the nomination this time (Hillary got the popular vote and if FL & MI were able to run a clean primary right from the start, the results would be the oppostie). There won't be caucuses or enough blacks to get him re-eleted in the next presidential race. The GOP is already vetting candidates that will make Obama look pale in comparison.

Richard--if the best argument you can make is to correct typos on some particular piece within a sea of neverending typos--then YOU"RE (meaning your are) as big an idiot as Chindog.

I could be wrong, but LOL isn't a word either, is it?

If I wanted a grammar lesson I would be in some college English message board instead of here.

    But thanks,

I am sure your corrections did their duty--as belonging to some abstract attempt in the making of your nonsensical point.

    • Posted By: Richard1327 @ 06/11/2008 2:33:48 PM

It wasn't a correction. Thought you would like to know for future reference. However, if you already know it all, are anti-self improvement or feel you are perfect just the way you are and are above any constructive criticism, I apologize for striking such a sensitive nerve and upsetting you.

      • Posted By: Richard1327 @ 06/11/2008 2:37:51 PM

I never use LOL. It's stupid.

How long must we wait for a quality reporter to ask Mrs. Obama if she has EVER used the term whitey? I would love to hear her answer this question before the dvd comes out.

A vote for McBama is about right. What US voters need to realize is that this race will (or should) come down to VP canadates. As sad and unfortunate as it might be, there is a high likelyhood that neither Mcain or Obama would last long in office. I think that McCain wouldn't last long in office due to his age and his health. It's the highest stess job there is and I don't think McCains health would hold up. On the other hand, as sad as it is to say, there is still a part of the population that is racist and is not ready to have a black president. It's unfortunate but, my prediction is that some KKK member will at least try to assinate him. I hate this but, this is a reality that we must consider. And if this did happen, all progress this country has made with regard to race will be made null and void.

Obama's "plan for change" does talk about these issues in a lot more detail than I've ever seen in a candidate's website. It's pretty exciting. Just because he hasn't focused on it in his public appearances doesn't mean he hasn't put it out there.

    Obama/Clinton 2008!

This is a sad article by someone who hasn't Listen to What Obama has said. Just because you have an agenda doesn't mean you can't work with others to come to a middle ground. (Obama's work on Walter Reed?) Ever been to a meeting within your company, only to go in with anticipation of one out come, but after putting everyone's head together you come out with something different everyone can handle? Didn't think so you had. (Look at Sen. Webb and Sen. Warner on the GI bill for an example.) In short, at least he is willing to work with republicans. Who is McBush willing to work with? Lieberman? Well, I guess someone needs to make sure McBush knows the difference in a Shiite and a Sunni...

As for "no one can claim that McCain lacks convictions", what's McBushes convictions on tax cut's? Before or after he was against them? After the Keating Five scandal, yes McCain lacks [a criminal] conviction...

    • Posted By: Rocky2001 @ 06/11/2008 11:30:30 AM

Or by someone that has listened to both sides and finds them lacking. Samuelson's honesty if refreshing amongst all the drivel spouted by both party supporters.

      • Posted By: OldGamer007 @ 06/11/2008 11:45:18 AM

Honesty or opinion as he see's it? They have two very different meanings. (Two people see an optical illusion and see different things, which person is being Honest?), and that's the problem with this article and your reply. Words put together without an understanding of either the definition or the human element that guides them..

          In your opinion....
