Mexico is a poor country where the minimum wages is about $5.00 a day (not an hour!). There is a saying from classical economics (J.B. Say): Supply creates its own demand. Not so. The demand for drugs is in the USA and as long as that demand is there needing to be filled, Mexico will supply the drugs. The habit which is heard to break is in the USA

Malcolm Beith needs to do an exclusive on the every growing never ending drug culture that exists in the United States and why it is not part of Fox news, CNN, NBC, the national government, the President's politics, the present national campaign for president. USA drug use is directly or indirectly related to about 90% of accidents and crime in the USA - in all levels of society. Everyone identifies the wastes of war but says nothing about the waste of drugs and its daily effect on the nation. Do you think anyone cut back on their drug consumption in these hard times? Not likely.

There are not enough jails, not enough policemen, not enough courts to enforce a law not supported by the people. Hubert H. Humphrey

I think the problem is, governments are still using kid gloves in dealing with the cartels on the Mexico side, and the distributors and dealers on the America side. If you catch them red handed, execute them and mount their heads on pikes. You don't get an award or bonus points for arresting them and trying them. Rid the world of the scum, it is war and they are enemy combatants who are merciless killers.
