HolyRoller, you should sue the doctor who promised you a plastic surgery and did a lobotomy instead. And by the way the stuff you are smoking is probably illegal.

If Hillary has anuy sense she will build on the brave performance she put in during the latter part of her campaign when she totally outclassed Obama.

She will formally endorse Obama as she cn do nothing else, do a little campaigning for him in the Fall, but otherwise wait quietly for him to crash.

Then she can run again with revewed credibility oin 2012.

Becoming his belated sycophant will destroy her totally.

Wow, it's me again, you thought I was the only one with such resentment for Obama, but looking below I can see I am not alone. McCain 2008!

Yep. There are a lot of bitter, myopic people on here that seemed to vote their vagina.

      • Posted By: RDOMINGUEZ @ 06/13/2008 5:47:46 PM

Well Johnsonium, this is just the kind of reception I'm getting everywhere. People will take a stand against Obama in November, if you don't believe me, just look below. There will be those that support him and those that don't, but those that don't will come together from all walks of life in November. Republicans, Democrats and Independents, all to put an end to this Obama-madness.

        McCain 2008!

I hope you are right. Seems like people have collectively lost their minds. Obamamania seems like some kind of Jim Jones/David Koresh/Hitler youth movement all rolled up in one.

Wow. You're right. McCain is guaranteed to get a dozen or so votes of bitter, former Clinton folks scattered across the nation.

In case you missed it we have been joined by one of the 13% of America who claim Obama is Muslim.

I figured out why they say it, it's not because they actually believe it, it that's it is relatively "ok" to hate Muslims, but NOT to hate blacks, so it's not that he's "black" that they hate him, it's cause he's...you guessed it....Muslim.

What a sad 13% you are, you're right in that group that still think the country is fine, and who support Bush and WAR FOR OIL.

Barack Obama is a man running for president ,who is in search of a Resume. Obam has presented himself to voters as the Rorschach Ink Blot Test, Presiential candidate--open to interpretation. He recieved his nomination via pundits, elder DNC, Howard Dean and super delegates. By studiously avoiding actually accomplishing anything, Obama suggests his is a leader upon whom all Americans can project their hopes and dreams. His primary accomplishment to date destroying Hillary with help of the pundits, elder DNC, Howard Dean and superdelegates. But accomplished to camouflage his views, leaving voters with platitudes, not policy, to consider. With an on-going war and an economy in flux, this is no time for on-the-job training.

Barack Obama has a better record on issues that are important to working men and women than Hillary and Way better than McCain. Plus he was able to get things done in the Illinois Senate when it was controled by Republican's.Obama will be far more liberal than conservatives like and far more conservative than far left liberals like.

    • Posted By: PReed1962 @ 06/14/2008 11:59:31 AM

Obama does not pretend to have all the answers. He does not promise to solve all our problems and make it all better. Would it make you feel better if he did? I bet it would. But he is not going to lie to you to make you feel better sir.
WE are the change we seek.
Obama does not ask us to believe in HIS abilty to change this nation. He asks us to believe in OUR ability to change this nation.
The task is difficult and long. We can do it together. Don't look to others to solve our problems. Be part of the movement and mow the old ladies lawn down the street. Or donate your time at the local foodbank. Or buy some extra diapers for the poor children in your town. THAT will make you feel better!

What a logiic!.. You are telling us that in America we just have two kinds of soups: the get Fu...kind and the win kind. The point is that somebody else other than us cooked those two kind 0f soup for us, and there is a third option for us under that logic: We do not have have to eat any of those two soups

  • Posted By: hcarrillo29 @ 06/15/2008 10:17:52 PM

For as long as the Democrats don' clean up their act This is my proposal and my agenda: I will not contribute a single penny for the DNC; I will not contribtute a single penny to the Obama campaign;and I will vote for Mccain in November! . It is that simple!

  • Posted By: olderwiser @ 06/15/2008 10:09:54 PM

It's competition. Next time you will win, shout and scream with joy and get drunk while you watch the losers crawl home crying where they will promptly get drunk and forget it. Just wait your turn.

  • Posted By: olderwiser @ 06/15/2008 10:05:41 PM

Any fool could lay in the yard in the dark of midnight and look up at the stars and read clearly that it was just a bad time for a white girl to run for president. The stars did it. And a bunch of confused citizens casting their ballots. It's what we do. The winners shout and scream with joy and get drunk and the losers crawl home crying and get drunk. There are no conspiracies. We just flip a coin and vote. This is America. Get used to it.

It is the white, old, male chauvinistic patriarchs of the Democratic party establishing the parameters for this election. First, It was suppose to be white and male, when they realized that this wasn't posible they compromised to black, as long as it was not woman, now they are trying to sell the new and false alternativa: youth versus age: that sh! ain't gonna fly!! :

nice point "Do the same thing over and over again and get the same results." you know I would love to live in the America where we had a surpus in our budget and had created 22 million jobs and that was under a Clinton administration. I would have loved to have Hlary at least try to get us those good old days again.

        • Posted By: HDavidson @ 06/15/2008 3:32:40 PM

          He is already doing it...

  • Posted By: richmich49 @ 06/15/2008 10:13:48 AM

Pre Rev. Wright story, Obama was a very strong candidate, but post Rev Wright he has been weak. The primaries after that have proved it. It will not matterwho he chooses as Veep. The story will be remembered in November. It will be close tho, and Clinton will draw back some of the more moderate Dems. McCain will still draw from the middle, but also has his troubles with his age. He will need to pick a candidate that is less of a hawk and that has appeal to the middle. I believe that Colin Powell would be his best choice.

    • Posted By: marksgershenson @ 06/15/2008 2:47:20 PM

I forgot which analyst in CNN said that depending on where Obama is in the polls against McCain may determine who is VP choice. For example, and I am not a great fan of Hillary, if he was behind McCain by a certain date, and the Dems felt that Hillary would actually be able to pull those people from McCain in certain swing states maybe one of the standards being used for VP selection. I think conventional wisdom would bare that point too. The VP may or maynot have much bearing depending on the polls...

I don't think Collin Powell will be asked for VP. Even as good as a person that he is, and I have the utmost respect for him, I think because he was part of the process that brought us into our present quagmire, would not bode well.

There is one person that Obama can always bring up if Wright is brought up again, which I don't think because of McCains association with Hagee...Wirght is irrelevant...

  • Posted By: HDavidson @ 06/15/2008 1:43:03 PM

Colin Powell would not p!ss on John McBush is John were on fire. lol And the only schmucks still licking the a$$ of the Wright non-issue are you and Sean Hannity, it's hysterical, that's ALL you have and, my friend, you should look at the numbers, since the "wright" story broke, BTW who won the DEM NOM?

    Got anything else?

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 06/15/2008 2:34:08 PM

Yeah I got something. You need a hug, you sound awfully angry.
Obama didn't win it, it was handed to him by the Supers. He NEVER got enough pledged delegates to win.

      • Posted By: HDavidson @ 06/15/2008 3:29:10 PM

Awe, you sound bitter and clingy ;)

      • Posted By: PReed1962 @ 06/15/2008 2:44:16 PM

He was ahead by like 160 delagates since february and i beleive he beat her in like 11 or 12 states in a row. She never caught up; never even got close. How is that the supers handing it to him?

  • Posted By: Wise_Guy @ 06/15/2008 2:01:34 PM

I would like to know if Senator Obama wrote Senator Clinton's speech since we all know that Senator Obama writes all of his speeches. That one that Hillary delivered did not sound like anything that she has given before which makes me wonder who really wrote the speech? If it was written by Senator Obama it more than likely was written doing their "secret meeting", food for thought.

I believe that the county would be better off if there would not be any more Clintons in the White House, there is too many under handed things being done my them and now it is coming out, which is making America look very stupid to other countries.

    • Posted By: marksgershenson @ 06/15/2008 2:50:25 PM

There is a tremendous amount of baggage and that is why all the hesitation for Obama to chose Hillary for VP. There are pending lawsuits going on, and I think there would be an awful lot of distractions for Obama to do his job well, in my opinion. Maybe history will tell us about your speculation about the speech. Wouldn't that be something if you are correct....
