  Well, after all....Evan has semi-pacifist bloodlines.
  
  The real danger is, we'll agree with Evan and ignore the real threat that might be Iran. I'm not saying diplomacy shouldn't be tried, but we're looking at a big rogue country with even bigger imperial and nuclear ambitions. This might very well be the one situation where we have to observe the admonition that we might be doomed to repeat a huge mistake--the mistake of Chamberlain.
  
  I'm with Bush on this one. Let Barack try his diplomacy, let's hope it works. At the end of the day, it might be the heroic Israeli Air Force that saves us all....at least until the west comes to its senses. That's before Iran rebuilds its semi-crippled nuclear weapons program.

  Cuba, Vietnam. Laos, Cambodia, Iran, Nicaragua, Somalia, Iraq. Let our friends, allies and the innocents die, by the millions if necessary. Just so long as they are not Americans. We are the Democratic Party, and for 50 years, from the Bay of Pigs to the Basra Highway and beyond, we have never met a fight we could not pressure our government to run away from, or friends and allies we could not abandon. It's the story of our generation. Only the French are more defeatist than we, but together America, we can change that and become number one. And its change we can believe in. Come on America, and vote Democrat. Together, we can re-live that pride we haven't felt since the 1970's. If we just blindly pull together, we really can make this like it is Jimmy Carter's lost second term. Yes we can!

  It???s pretty obvious that President Bush is attempting to mobilize Western opinion against Iran???s obvious attempts to produce nuclear weapons; that attempt is entirely diplomatic. This may not be the time to call for unilateral, unscripted discussions with Iran???s leaders. That is what Barack Obama wants. At least he wanted this during his hard fought primary campaign against Sen. Hillary Clinton, though with Obama, one never knows. Perhaps this ???resolve??? also is open to reconfiguration. The man has more twists and turns in him than the Missouri River
