Why is it that throughout our history, EVERTIME someone has a better idea that you don't understand quite yet, they end up being communists, or witches, or whatever goofy, silly ass explanation you've got for them not being like yourselves?

It's like I live in a great country with some dumb screwed up folks in it. I don't agree with you and whom you chose as a candidate, now I'm straight out of N. Korea or something. If I'm communist as a result of my backing Barack, then ALL HILLARY BACKERS should be considered communist also....seeing that these two candidates share most political views and objectives. Plus that makes Old Hillary a communist too.

You people should get out more, have some good sex, relax a bit.

Obama's 50 state strategy....I don't think that the Obama group has to work very hard to secure the election in November....the National DNC will by hook or crook (most likely the last considering how the Dem primary was handled) ensure that B. Hussein Obama is seated in the oval office.....

Not withstanding voters....let's understand that "this a democratic year" and hells bells what the voters want. A dem must win the White House and the majority in both houses, and let's not forget we need this empty suit "Affirmative Action" individual selected.

Concerned Ctzn, are you OUT OF YOUR MIND saying that "W" did nothing to defeat Roe vs. Wade? It has been the stated goal of the religious right to appoint conservative judges to overturn Roe vs. Wade for years. Bush is on board with this plan. Every single judge that Bush appointed to every single Federal bench that came open during his tenure was a right wing Christian conservative. The Democrats were stymied when the GOP controlled congress, and Bush got to appoint two right wing Supreme Court Justices.

First Bush appointed John Roberts to replace Sandra Day O'Connor when she stepped down. When Chief Justice Wm. Rehnquist died in 2005, Bush appointed Roberts as Chief Justice, and then filled O'Connor's empty chair with Samuel Alito. Both Roberts and Alito are Catholic, and both are outspoken against abortion.

Bush has appointed two of the nine Justices, including the Chief Justice. The current Supreme Court has been sharply divided on a number of high profile issues, including abortion rights, affirmative action, eminent domain, gay rights, the separation of church and state, sovereign immunity, and states' rights. The number of close votes in cases involving these areas suggests that a change of one or two key justices could completely shift the thinking of the Court on such issues.

Right now there are four Justices who are elderly and will soon either retire or die. The next President will get to appoint at least two new Justices. If the next President is McCain, those two will both be conservative right wing Christians. McCain has publicly PROMISED to do this, and explicitly said that his goal is to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

Most Americans, even most Republicans, value the separation of church and state. That clause is in our Constitution to protect us from exactly what is going on in America today! Allowing any religious group (especially a radical one) to control the interpretation and application of our laws in the highest court in the land is NOT democratic. Nor is it wise.


I don't care if you are a disappointed Hillary supporter or an undecided Independent or a life-long Republican or are pro-Obama. ANYONE, regardless of stripe, needs to vote against a candidate who had declared his intention of appointing partisan judges. Judges are supposed to be impartial. That is the basis of our legal system. Without that, you might as well live in a dictatorship, without recourse to law.

Sorry folks! Like most of the NeoConvicts, Gen. Pow-wow jumped ship when things got tough regarding the war. Yet, like Snotty McCoward (author of Wuh Happin'), he was one of the biggest " 'W' / Dick C" Kool-Aid drinkers until one day they somehow, someway, suddenly grew a conscience. Gee wuh happin'?

So I could careless what either one of these traitors have to say now. They have lost all credibility as far as I'm concerned! So I hope he supports McGreen. Honestly, we don't need or want "ANY" of the cross-dressin' GOP traitors such as Rup. Murdork, Rusty Limbratt, Bill O'Wrighty, the list goes on and on. WE'RE DONE WITH "ALL" THE NEO-CONVICTS!

Again, beside John himself, I'd be the first to admit that "HE" is not perfect. Who is? John will make mistakes once he's in the W.H. What Pres. hasn't? Bottom line, I'll take age and wisdom (McGame) over Sen. McGreen ANY DAY!!!! Any mistakes John might possibly make would pale in comparison to rookie mistakes.

I am still waiting to hear the negative attacks on Obama by people who are supporting McCain and people who are still bitter over Hillary not winning. I am waiting to hear the angry Hillary lovers say that they are ready to vote for McCain. I am waiting for these Hillar y lovers to tell me why is McCain economic adviser still with the McCain campaign. She is the one who helped HP layoff over 1000's of workers. She also helped ship jobs overseas and she said that "jobs are not Americans god given right." I also want to know why does McCain want to support putting more money into the welfare system when it is costing this country over 200 billion. Why does he want to eliminate so many programs to help single mothers and to help educate women when it comes to abortion. How come he is going to do his best to have Roe v Wade overturned. How come he wants to keep spending billions in the Iraq war. How come he wants to use the draft if our recruiting numbers remain low. I want these Hillary supporters to please help me answer these questions and maybe I will join there cause. But please don't use your racial slurs like you have been doing throughout this campaign and don't use the old excuse that he is too young and inexperienced. We have had politicians who have been around for a long time and we are still doing bad. So, please, help me understand.

Last week John McCain said that "there is nothing wrong with the economy." Despite McCain's attempts to turn a blind eye and act like nothing is wrong, all of the indicators and the leading economists have dire predictions.

Does this pretending that important pressing realities aren't real remind you of someone? Maybe Dubya Bush? McSame.

I am VERY worried about the economy. So are lots of people, including Rupert Murdoch, multi-billionaire owner of FoxNews and an arch-conservative Republican. Mr. Murdoch is supporting Obama and has predicted that Obama will win the general election, because he says that McCain is "weak on the economy" and that with McCain as President "the recession would deepen into a depression."

Warren Buffet, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and the richest man in the world is also supporting Obama, because he also believes Obama has what it takes to turn around our failing economy.

Honestly, I think that both of these men know more about the economy and more about Obama's and McCain's capabilities than most of us do.

Obama will win, and he will change our nation for the better.

Obama is going to lose this election. He does not have the grass-root support of the American voters. He is the surprise winner over Hillary and is ill-prepared to run this country. Mrs.Clinton would have been a much better choice to assure a Democratic White House. Alas she was not chosen, struck down by the Media and Idealism. McCain will win -the White house will remain Republican and Obama's wife can go back to her nracial based criticism of America.
