Abigail Breslin—Little Miss Sunshine herself—stars in "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl." Breslin, 12, spoke to Ramin Setoodeh, direct from the American Girl doll store in Dallas:

Are you going to buy any dolls?
I already have them all.

Every single one?
I want a treehouse now.

Did you have to dye your hair blonde for the role?
I wore a wig.

Well, that's easy.
It took 45 minutes to get out of every day, so that was hard.

Did people think you were a real blonde?
My uncle came to the set one day and said, 'Who's that blonde girl?' And my mom said, 'It's Abby.'

What do you do when you're not working?
I just saw "Indiana Jones" with my friend Joyce, and that was fun. That was a good movie. I like to have sleepovers. I like to swim. I like to talk on the phone.

Do you go to school?
I'm home-schooled and I do school on the set for three hours a day.

What are you learning about?
Multiplication. I don't really like it that much. I like all the subjects except for math.
