    sounds like willnotvoteobama is just angry that you cannot pin obama down on certain votes, exactly what he was doing by not placing a vote. the best change would come not from a vote yeah or nay but approaching it from a completely different angle. and on change, you thing Bush/McCain is going to offer change? never!

      are you better off than you were eight years ago? Is almost 10 trillion in debt ring a bell? Does the economy matter or perhaps you are in the top 3%. Does the appointing of supreme court justices matter to you? Does 4.50 plus per gallon make a difference to you if you can eat or whether you can get to work just to eat? Does it matter to you that we are bogged down in a quagmire? Thats why...NEXT

            kennedy was way smarter than obama he was willing to go to the middle to get things done in washington for the sake of our country and check his voting records none say present all are yeah or nay obama on the other hand is so liberal that he will not go to the middle and vote present more than anything i think he does this so that voting on a issue would make him appear to be moving from the left so present is the answer i guess he knows how to get MOVE ON .ORG to help him win the white house !!

      Why? What an odd question. Even the greatest nation is not perfect. Surely you must recognize that. Our country has flaws, and although it is the greatest nation, it can always be improved. To ignore that fact is to stick your head in the sand. The two concepts are not mutually exclusive, as you seem to believe.

        Everything is mutually inclusive. Example gas for work, or food? If you can't afford gas, how do you go to work to obtain food? Our country is heading for recession. or already in one depending who you are speaking to... We are in a quagmire. If a person in the top economic braket, none of the questions I asked below would apply.

        My point is, when thinking about your vote, all of those things plus many more must be considered when you consider a candidate. The hysteria of the comment below mine indicated to me that the person was not thinking thoroughly, rather emotionally...The very last comment led me to state the questions was"he has no clue" is worrisome and naive statement.

        When you vote, you want to be prepared to make a wise decison, regardless of whom is chosen....

    Yes, it will be a bad election. McCain is definitely on the way towards senility. Obama is ebonically unsuited for presidential status. Our political leaders have given us this terrible choice. The backroom cigar-smoking pols would have done much better.

      If you are referring to the blog below, Mrs. Edwards vs. McCain it is obvious you did not read it. It is about McCain's solution to Health Care Plan where it is stating in article that both their cancers they have and are still dealing with staying on top of would not be covered under his plan if due to pre-condition.

    The Politico reports these historians paint a bleak picture for the Republican candidate. They also say Barack Obama has the best chance of any Democrat perhaps since FDR beat Herbert Hoover in 1932.

    The historians say it should be ???an overwhelming Democratic victory,??? noting McCain is facing one of the worst political environments for the party in power since World War II.

    There???s also this: only twice in the 20th century did the candidate from the same party as a two-term president go on to win the White House. The last time was in 1988, when President Bush???s father replaced Ronald Reagan??? but Reagan was twice as popular as the current president is now.

I will ask you the same question when people make generalized comments...do you feel your better off now than you were eight years ago? If you feel your better off than it does not matter who you choose. However, if you feel your not better off, please study the candidates and make a non-emotional choice...Please vote regardless who you want to win.... :-)

    Take a look at the 2004 DNC Convention where the national media is panning to the audience during applause for Obama during his keynote speech.

    Same image, different time. Hillary was toast four years ago. No way was the boy's club let a woman lead the DNC, and the party.

    As far as Obama's cabinet, we will see a lot of familiar faces, and names. It's same old, same old politics put in a package called Barrack Hussein Obama.

      Actually, only a little over half of the people of these great United States told Kerry in 2004, "We do not want you. Go away." The rest said, "Hey John, please be our president." To read your post, one might get confused and think he got something like 10% of the vote. And the people of MA voted how they pleased. Generally, endorsements make little impact on elections, whether by John Kerry or anyone else.
