I think this magzine is good, if people just give it a chance. As lang as it doesn't start catagorizing homosexuals and people who tatoo themselves all over as being those who are also subject to racism since gays and freaks fall into a different catagory.

I was employed at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix AZ for the last four years on 01/25/2008 i was retaliated on because i complained to Human Resource about my supervisor sexually harassing me i lost my job beacause they were protecting her,she was here on a work visa from Turkey.

What is this poster talking about? This post makes no sense.
80% of scholarships are for all students but get this; the percentage of African-American students who recieve them are less than 10%. That is because of all of the stipulations that often leave African-Americans out of the competition. When a scholarship for students of color is offered, people like this poster gets upset.
The fact is: this country still has issues that go back to slavery that has yet to be dealt with. Deal with them. Programs such as scholarships in universities are attempting to level the playing field.
I will also say this: I got to college on a scholarship and once I got there, got treated horribly because of the color of my skin. Professors were openly hostile and graded me differently than my white friend(we submitted papers and we switched our names on them).
I now teach at a college and I see the same thing happening to African-American students.
It is time to stop the belly aching of the white man and if you want to take credit for all the good that white men have done, have the guts to take responsibility for all of the bad things and how those horrible actions are still manifesting themselves today.

Go to any college or university and ask for a list of schlarships offered and see how many are for just women and minorities and how many are for just white men. There are none for just white men and facts are that there are many one that whites men can even apply for. Even Mexicans fresh from the border can apply for admission to nearly any college in this country and most do not have to pay a penny in enrollment yet I do not know one white person that got a free ride in college.Did you see the female NC student body president (whites blond) who was murdered a few short months ago? Who did the police finally arrest? Two black males that's who and one was already awaiting trial for murder of a Duke medical student a month or two prior to the NC. How about the female Auburn student who was murdered around the same time. Who did the police arrest? Another black! The media never made an connection concerning race. The MSM never even mentioned race but had the roles been reversed and the victims were black females and the attackers white males then you know the media would still be talking about it today. All the media ever talked about is the black on black crime rates or the fraudulent high numbers of white on black crimes to make whites look bad when in fact everyone with a brain cannot deny that when crime crosses racial lines the most often target is whites and the perps are black or Hispanic but the media never reported these crimes because they would have to have a 24/7 news station devoted to nothing but around the clock black on white crime. It is amazing that the media portrays blacks as loving and caring of all races and the same for Asians and Hispanics but portrays whites as the devils of the earth. If blacks and Asians and Hispanics love whites so much then how come they rob, rap, and murder whites in far more numbers than the reverse. This is not racist in any way, just stating facts.

I know I am off topic but I sit day in and day out seeing what liberals attempt to hide and the only media outlet that addresses some of these double standard issues is FOX shows like Hannity and Combs. Sen. Obama is a hot topic because he is white and black but Obama himself describes himself as black which is a shame because he is insulting the white family that raised him from birth and made sure he obtained a top notch education. I attended college but would have only dreamed of attending Harvard but Obama attended when most whites can only dream yet he wrote a book about his father who hit the road back to Africa when Obama was about two. I treat those like I want to be treated and if someone is disrespectful then I call them on it. The entire white race has been labeled racist while blacks have always been labeled victims of white racism. The liberals have forced diversity on this country however only whites have to change and accept blacks and Hispanics into this country yet they do not have to be as accepting of us. Most Universities have all black dorms but not one university has an all white dorm so how is this fair? There are black, student governments at all universities, Asiana student governments, and Hispanic student governments but no European-American or white student governments at any college or university and this is fact. However, the student government at any college and university can be joined by anyone but whites can't join the minorites student governments so how are the races supposed to get along when the minorites are treated better then the whites?

What I don't understand is thing--the debate is not really about this magazine. It is about the anger of white people with the country and situation at large, and their ability to express that anger anonymously through these posts. It is also about the hurt of black people who read these often vicious comments, and who respond in kind. I read a lot of news and blog comments, and I marvel that no one has ever said, "When you say things like this about me and my race (whether white or black) it hurts me because I have a solid citizen and I feel I'm being attacked when you attack my race in general."

Also, when blacks and white liberals are losing a debate they we resort to labeling you a racist knowing this will end the debate. Don't be afriad to speak your peace not matter what! Don't speak out of anger and always use facts to back up your claims. I provided the FBI site so people can check and make up their own minds about the subject. Every race, sex, culture, etc has its racist people and victims of hate crimes and to lable only whites as racist and all minorities as victims of white hate just shows that it is easier to blame the white race. Like with slavery, who do you blame for it? The black tracker who rounded up the blacks to sell into slavery or the white, blacks, Asians,etc who bought the slaves? Again, it is easier to blame whitey! I know I would be very angry at my people for selling me into slavery before blaming others for buying me. Who would you blame? Should whitey take the entire blame? I don't think so!

Last I checked there were still 219,000.000 whites in this country meaning whites are still the majority by big numbers so when figuring for crime stats one has to use "per capita" figures and anyone who has been to college knows this. You must take, for example, 1 million blacks VS 1 million whites to see who is committing more hate crimes and crimes as a total. Liberals will never do this because it brings out the truth and we all know the MSM does not report the truth very often. If you have a hard time understanding this then lets take a look at crime in Africa. I bet that blacks commit far more crimes than whites in any African country. I know some of you have already figured this out that there are far more blacks so of course they would commit more crimes. So whites commit more crimes in this country because there are far more whites. Even if you take a per capita bases in Africa, blacks still commit far more crimes in Africa because there are more blacks. Let's talk about Zimbabwe for a moment. What happened to the native white African farmers? You got it. They were murdered by black thugs to get their farms for their black racist president Robert Mugabe. Thousands of white Africans were beaten, raped, robbed, and murdered just because they were white. Now the thug blacks in the country are starving because blacks took over the white farms that fed 70% of the country and replaced them with black thugs who know nothing about farming and look what happened. The blacks are starving and they are asking for help from white America. I say to let them starve because this is what they wanted. They wanted the white mans farm and now they are starving so let them starve. However, the United States will continue to feed Africa with mostly white tax payer money and for what? Africa has nothing we want so why do we continue to send billions of dollars to help them with AIDS? with food? Now you have been given the information to disprove the liberal medias bias towards the white man so research for yourself before you use your racist words to make you look stupid. Wow, just another printed piece of garbage to run down the white race. Last I checked "white" is a color, so where do you racist get off labeling everyone else "people of color" while labeling whites as white or caucasion? Yes some whites are racist but for every white who is racist I can find a black or so-called Hispanic who is just as racist. Please name one white person who had preached for the violent removal of the entire black race and I will name a black that has called for the violent removal of all white from not just this country but from the entire world. Louis Farrakan, the racist leader of a violent hate group Nation of Islam called for blacks to rid the world of whites in the most violent way and did this on C-Span a few short years ago but did the mainstream media pick up on this? No! Not a word about this violent group whose numbers are in the hundreds of thousands, maybe even million in this country. Now let's look at the so-called white hate groups this sorry story refered to. The author didn't mention the names of these so-called white suprimisist groups and anyone knows that a story is unbeliable without listing a site to confirm the story. Now let's cover some more facts to back up my story. The FBI site list hate crimes so this is a great place to start for facts about who are really leading the way in hate crimes and it is not the typical liberal rant that whites are committing all the hate crimes. Not even close! Go to the FBI hate crime statistics and see for yourself that there are stats for white and black perps for hate crimes but there are no stats for Hispanics like Hispanics cannot commit hate crimes which we all know is liberal bull. Now look at the victim stats and you will see there are stats for Hispanics as victims of hate crimes. How is it possible that blacks and whites can commit hate crimes but Hispanics cannot commit hate crimes? They can be a victim but not a perp, makes no sense at all. So how many of the hate crimes committed by Hispanics really show they were committed by whites when in fact the perps were Mexican? Now, this inflates the number of hate crimes committed by whites doesn't it? Yes it does! Now look at the FBI's 10 most wanted list and see that most are anything but whites. Mexicans are listed as being white. How can this be true? The reason you never hear about black committing hate crimes against whites is pretty simple to figure out. The MSM for the most part are comprised of liberals so they are not about to report these kinds of hate crimes because they don't want to cause any problems for blacks because they are still a minority and don't want whites to see the truth.

I love the idea. The thought of having it right there in the paper means that probably more people are going to look at it, and that could open some great discussions about how open-minded we really are and should be. There are some great resources on the internet such as mixedracefamilies.com and multiracial sky, but you have to deliberately go to those sites...now the info will be delivered right with the Sunday paper!

My Mother's mom was Indian (she died despising the PC word) and her father was native German, but they both considered themselves Americans only. Similarly, my Dad's parents were native Hungarian (mom) and Irish (Dad), yet tthey thought they were Americans. And now, most of them would all be Caucasians, yet we still have Native-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Asian-Americans, etc. why can't we just be Americans?

I do agree that the idea of the magazine is somewhat positive, but like the multiculturalism they attempt to push in education courses that I took in college, they have one fatal flaw. The fact that we spend so much time stressing differences is the most damaging aspect of all and contributes to division between races, not unity. We used to be just Americans, but now we're Something-American, where is the melting pot?

That the child had to ask permission to sit under a tree defies logic. And to deny racisim exsists in this country would be very naive. But, we now have a black man running for President of the United States who could not have won the contest without the support of a large majority of white voters. I am sure that a great many black and white work side by side every day and suffer no serious consequences for their association. The point that I am trying to make is this; there is a racial divide that exsists in this country, but not to the extent that is portrayed by the media. And if this magazine can help bridge the gap by fostering honest and open debate on that which divides, then more power to them and good luck!

So now I live in Thailand with my Thai-American family and even here I'm discriminated against in everything from buying things to getting paid at my job at school. But much of the discrimination is positive as the Thais are very interested in English and native English speakers over here. In contrast, I know in the states my sons will be labeled "Asian American" and discriminated against negatively...so I'll stay here.

Continued (Northern Ohio): I then graduated to 20 years in the Navy and saw a lot of racism by all races, so "Girl" you ought to check yourself. I visited my best friend (who is a "person of color"--aren't we all a color also?--in Marianas, Arkansas and I was the only white person in the town and if it weren't for Al and his brothers, I might have been in trouble because I was white.
