Comment: I truly believe that if Tiger's Dad was still alive he would have sat out the Open. I have to admit, though, I was guilty of being riveted to this man's courage. Some might call it stupidity, but he was taught, and believes with all his heart that he is the toughest competitor mentally out there. Hard to argue with the results, especially after the brilliant play of Rocco.
I trust that this great athlete will find a way to heal and come back to thrill us all, over and over again. Here's to you Tiger, with the courage of a Lion. We also have to remember, that given all he has accomplished, he is still a young man, and sometimes even he, succumbs to the arrogance of youth

Comment: I said to my father as we watched the 2008 US Open that pain is the body's way of telling us something is wrong. We can either choose to listen or ignore it.

Comment: Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda. So many people second guessing the most succesful athelete on the face of the planet! Give it up people, he neither cares or is concerned about anyone's opinion. AND HE SHOULDN'T. At the end of the day it's is his life and no one else's. Get your own lives!

Comment: Just because you are rich and famous, don't make you smart.

Comment: I have a feeling this journalist ran out of good stories to write about. Another day deluged with stories about Tiger Woods? We're all giddy.

Comment: This article missed a great issue. Doctors, themselves, rarely see doctors let alone follow advice. I know this because I have worked with them for over 25 years. People should use common sense. As for colonoscopies, the rate of positive results is very low as are PSA's. If there is a family history, the ounce of prevention is very valuable. Otherwise, normally we can tell when we need to see a doctor and we can tell when we are well regardless of the doctor's opinion. Besides, a primary care office is geared to 6-7 patients per hour per doctor for optimal profitability.

Isn't it ironic: Xerox is hoping it can profit by teaching companies how to reduce their printing.
