While the article is interesting, it doesn't mean much. We have a long way to go before the general election and a lot can happen between now and then. I'm glad Obama is leading, but let's not get a false sense of security - remember what happened to Clinton. Forget about the polls, let's keep our collective noses to the grindstone to defeat McCain in November.

Anyways, not EVERY muslim hates America - I feel embarassed for the U.S. that so many people use "muslim" as some sort of negative insult. Not EVERY white person is prejudice/racist, not every black person is a "gangster", not every asian is a "nerd", just like not every muslim hates America. I apologize to the MILLIONS of muslim's for the treatment you get by Americans because a small and extreme section of your culture has feelings that the majority of you do not support.

Also - I wonder if so many of the anti-Obama posters use the fact that they think he is Muslim as a reason to not vote for him because it's difficult to think of any other reason?

With the stark polling difference given here, it should be good journalistic responsibility to spend some time at least explaining why the difference is so great. If this is a situation of sensationalism in exchange for readership, then the decline of "old media" is something that is well-earned. If this is a case of candidate bias (which seems unlikely but possible), again the media decline is inevitable. While some people may be fooled in to voting for one candidate or another by contrived information, I hope Americans start to wake up and reason about the issues.

We see the Democrats decry all the bad that has been begotten by having using government power to harass the people. Then it is followed with "So.... let's make it bigger... trust us ... we are not like them". We are clearly in a situation where both parties have rotted from within. Obama cannot change the party... only people can. McCain isn't going to be another Bush term... that is silly. However, McCain cannot change his party either but he can show that he can start the ball rolling.

This election will be razor thin because we actually have two old school traditional choices. More government or less government. Now it is up to the people to decide which they want.

Obama is no longer a Muslim. According to Muslim law..if you are born to a Muslim father you are a Muslim. Barack Obama however has chosen another faith which under Muslim law is offensive and a crime. This, by the way should have nothing to do with him being suitable for the Presidency...even if he reverted back to his Muslim roots it should not disqualify him, after all this is the USA, founded on the principles of religious freedoms.
