Experience is a big deal...no one wants an inexperienced mechanic, doctor chef firefighter etc when it comes to getting thing taken care of so why go with a candidate with the least amount of experience then any other DEM canadate that ran ...I have been a Dem for over 40 yrs and I will not vote for anyone that cannot be trusted and has as much experience with how a country needs to be run then my 13yr old dog... Get bush out of office but don't condem us to hell by bringing in the devil...

You want experience, tell me the experience of this last eight years...are you better off than you were eight years ago? Do you enjoy an 9.5 trillion dollar debt, 4.50 gallon gas, a quagmire that costs 30 billion a year with 4000 plus dead, the economy in the toilet, and you want a person to become president that wants to continue the same policies as Bush, and keep going the route our country is going? I don't...NEXT

So then, you were a democrat who did not vote for JFK? I see, some democrat you are.

These lama's who claim they've been "democrat all my life, but NOT NOW" are either, NOT democrat, or just plain brain damaged.

So vote for McCain't and get all that great "experience" you crave.

Along with the status quo... mediocrity of mental capacity, middle of the road ideas, and Bush revamped and repackaged to fool all the rest of the Right-Leaning dummies in this country.

All for continued PROFIT of the Bush Family, and the Republican Rich... Nothing for the middle class or anyone else but the same shite. Go ahead, vote for McCain't - fool yourselves into oblivion like taking the last drug available to induce comatose consciousness.

Your as much a democrat as Jeb Bush

Why should we even have the election??? According to Newsweek and CNN the race is over anyway or at least they are doing everything in their power editorially to make sure of the result. I am certainly glad I don't have to think for myself on this one.

  • Posted By: Sailfast @ 06/20/2008 9:04:07 PM

Well, I don't know, polls say this and polls say that, remember New Hampshire? Once the curtains on the voting machines close the Democratic Party and the extreme left libral media, and you too George Soros, will be told the true meaning of radical racial division. Please God I hope so, Michelle Obama wouldn't look good standing by a curb watching the Honor Guard with the led horse cantor by, nor would America after the rioting is over.

Comment: The circus comedy that constitutes the Obama campaign. This is a scenario that has repeated itself multiple times on other issues. On terrorism - Obama is asked a straight forward question on his anticipated policies to combat terrorism; and, he responds in an equally forward manner that he would handle the issue as a police action. The McCain camp immediately exploits Obama's naive response, correctly highlighting Obama's dangerous inexperience and lack of understanding of the gravity/complexity of the issue. Obama's handlers immediately haul him into the cloak room; advise him that his response was feeble and misguided; tell him what he should have said; and, send him back into the public forum, teleprompter in hand , to read his handlers prepared text on the latest version of his position. The Main Stream Media immediately chimes-in lauding Obama for what he meant to say on the issue all-along!
Unequivocally, Obama is the equivalent of a circus clown; a stand-up comic; a circus-barker attempting to lure the mentally-challenged into the tent with promises of an epiphany; a Charley McCarthy mannequin that appears to lip-sync the commentary from his ventriloquist controllers. This man is an virtual imbecile who is totally without the capacity to speak intelligently on issues on which he has not been previously programmed by his puppet masters. P.T. Barnum was right on target when he observed: "There's a sucker born every minute." ; but, hopefully the American electorate will not be duped by such a charlatan. Greg Neubeck

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We re all glad that Obama does not share the ???experience??? McCain has because that type of ???experience??? America can well do without. You seem to be carrying a personal grudge against Obama. Of the two candidates whom do you think most depict a clown? At least Obama knows Shiite from Sunnis and can remember what he said. This ???circus clown??? knows how to manage money and does not depend on his wife for handouts. This ???circus clown??? loves his wife and kids and is a great family man. He does not cheat on her nor would he leave her crippled in a wheelchair and marry a rich young heiress. This ???circus clown has a very high IQ and demonstrates this by fast tracking to the top in record time, unlike your candidate who has taken over seventy years to arrive at this juncture. The majority of Americans supports Obama so by your estimation the majority Americans are mentally challenged. Wise up pal, the only mentally challenged person is you! Look at the man in the mirror and you will see your circus-barker. Don???t take it out on Obama because he has brains and is fine looking whereas you are ugly.

According to this biased Newsweek (liberal) poll, real Americans are in deep trouble. How can some of us have become so socialist minded in such a short time. Nero is tunning up his fiddle and very soon, down the tube we go.

    • Posted By: marksgershenson @ 06/20/2008 8:59:33 PM

Why do you think we have gone to the extreme of socialism? Are you saying that central gov't is going to be doing all the economic planning, and we are all going to live like they do in Cuba, and China? Did you hear of dividedwefail.org ? And if it went to McCain became president, we are going to go to extreme right too? I don't think so....What are you afraid of?

Personally I don't believe either party will cut the size of government. Look at the billions Chris Dodd is giving away today to banks that underwrote risky mortgages. Dodd makes 178,000 and got a loan of over 800,000 from Countrywide. Follow the money. We the people don't need a savior, we need to take control ourselves. Government should be service not a means to 100 million dollar speaking tours or book contracts.

  • Posted By: techresmgt @ 06/20/2008 8:57:51 PM

Statistical Process Control is what these kind of polls are based upon. The numbers are so easy to fudge and misrepresent the true 'picture', it' not even funny. Funny how the media always seems to have Oprahama a few points ahead of the rest of the field. Funnier still, these polls never get to the average person, nobody has EVER polled me or anyone I know in thirty years. It's a bunch of propaganda, in my opinion. The pressing question is why would the popular media want to continually promote Oprahma? Oh, yeah, it's all that money he has to spend. I almost forgot. i wonder if money will affect polls? Note to self; check that out. There is not a candidate running fit to lead this country. We are screwed.

Skipper50 they are getting desperate, and I am enjoying watching them self-destruct every time they open their mouths. They do not seem to understand that it can not get much worse than it already is! McCain does not represent hope, he represents more biggoted elitism.

  • Posted By: notroubleatall1963 @ 06/20/2008 8:51:27 PM

Dan American, we already got HUGE, OVERINFLATED GOVERNMENT with the Bush Regime. What do you think war spending is all about - shrinking the government?

Yes, I hope Obama wins - for restoring hope and promise of our people and to spread the wealth of our country just a litte bit in a time of eonomic and energy crises, and to inspire people to educate their children and themselves in a system that isn't cracked. We need Obama to restore other countries' faith in us as a People.

McCain't is the promise of Mediocrity in Perpetuity... same as Bushes... Profit for the rich is all they bother to run for office to achieve -t hey do not care about anything else, trust me.

  • Posted By: jaxa @ 06/20/2008 7:49:18 PM

Great to see that most of the readers this poll are wise enough to see the media manipulation. The same was was done in every election since 1976. But the American people have enough common sense to make the right choice. Bill Clinton only won b/c of Ross Perot factor.

    • Posted By: mrzoid @ 06/20/2008 7:52:17 PM

Yeah, thats why Clinton won both terms.

      • Posted By: jaxa @ 06/20/2008 8:50:34 PM

Get your facts straight! Perot ran in both 1992 and 1996. Perot was the deciding factor Clinton never got more than 48% of the popular vote. Do the math!

  • Posted By: dan american @ 06/20/2008 8:46:26 PM

The value of a poll like this is highly suspect. I hope Obama wins because America might finally be forced to deal with the harsh reality that big government doesn't work. Scary will be the flight of intellectual capital in a world where proximity to a location is no longer required. Laptops will travel. Money like water will seek the path of least resistance. Finding homes in countries with favorable taxation and reasonable regulation. The dollar will never again rise to it's former prominence.

I'd say the GOP is in desperation mode.

  • Posted By: PleaseSaveAmerica @ 06/20/2008 8:33:04 PM

OK people ... stop with this whole lack of experience thing for Obama. It is cliched and tired.

The President does not make unilateral decisions on his own. He builds a team of people to advise him. Those advisers help give him the facts to help make educated decisions. I would argue, actually, that sometimes having too much experience is a hindrance because you are set in your ways.

The whole experience point in invalid .. move on to something more substantive.

    • Posted By: WhenStarsTurnBlue @ 06/20/2008 8:43:54 PM

Sure, why does Obama need experience? He just needs a VP with lots of experience to balance him out and advise him. Obama could just bring a core group of advisers like he has now running his campaign. They're known for they're loyalty, no in-fighting, and never talk to the press. It's like a little bubble. And he listens to them, then makes a decision, because he's a decider and a leader. Wait, why is this reminding me of someone....hmm....oh right, George W. Bush did that too. That turned out so well, let's do it again!

    • Posted By: notroubleatall1963 @ 06/20/2008 8:38:08 PM

Yeah, after all, what experience did Massa Bush Jr. have besides ensuring the Death Penalty ranked Texas no. 3 in the world for such practices, after Iraq and one other third-world type nation?

Bush Jr. had little or no experience, and even fewer brains, so it was truly a recipe for disaster. Which is exactly what we got.

We need someone with BRAINS, VISION and COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS to inspire and ignite change for the better - we're not a perfect country but we've got a lot of talent lying latent in our population! It's the people who make this country great - not the GOP.

  • Posted By: CORiverRat @ 06/20/2008 8:42:44 PM

Why are people looking to Obama. It is simple: McCain = Bush all over Again.
