I can understand the rich voting for McBush but the people who don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of that i can't understand.... all they know is FEAR FEAR HATE HATE ????

Ok, people, re: gas prices. I hope you all knew that gas prices went up over 150% between late 2001 and early 2006. Gas prices now have gone up about 70% since the beginning of 2007. Neither are good. But there was a big rise in gas prices before this as well. It is just that, for some reason, $4 has become this sociologically magic number where Armageddon is occurring because the price of gas has hit there.

Americans knew all they needed to know about George Bush after his first term, and then voted for him again by a lager margin...and look at the state of our country domestically, and our tarnished image worldwide. We're now known as torturers, and murders...sounds a lot like those terrorist that this administration is always trying to scare the American public with. Education obviously doesn't equate with common sense, or George Bush never would have been elected in the first place, and Al Gore would be president. You want to demand answers from Obama, when he has opened up his life to full examination, but demand none from your sitting president about how, and why we were lied into this war with Iraq. A war that has been documented over, and over again to have been waged on a lie. But who cares? The really important question is how could Obama sit in church, and listen to Rev. Wright for 20 yrs. Right?

I know it's hard for you to believe, and accept, but the majority of Clinton voters are democrats first, and Hillary supporters second. There are a few that will vote for McCain, and some may not vote at all. But if you
really think that 18 million democrats are going to vote republican, because Hillary lost, you really don't grasp the mood of this country. The democratic party hasn't thrown you aside...you've abandonded the democratic party. The rules that they enforced, and then compromised on, are the same rules that were in place when Bill Clinton won 2 terms, when Al Gore lost. And the same rules that Hillary agreed to at the start of her campaign. If you can't grasp the simple truth, that very simple statement of fact, then by all means leave the party. Take your marbles,or in this case your votes, and go home.

Folks, the only poll that matters is the one on November 4th. Period.

I went into a depression when Kerry lost and I realized it would be 4 more years of Bush/Cheney. Here I am....hopeful again with Barack Obama. I respect Mccain. But there is no way he would be a good president. And the age factor is an important issue. Along with my hope for a better future for America with Barack Obama as our president, I'm trying not to fool myself and cut the guy some slack. If the polls are accurate and if he does become president, he will be inheriting the worst mess an incoming president has ever had to deal with.

So what country DOESN'T HAVE propaganda??? What do you call "The War on Terroishm" by Master of Propaganda Bush Jr. (and the "Desert Storm" by his lovely dad)?

The USA is perpetrator of the worst kind of propaganda with the Bushes in contol - fear mongering, sword rattling, "lone star" economics and lots of fuzzy "thinking" that passes for policy. OMG, the propaganda and LIES the Bush team puts out has led to crimes against HUMANITY.

So what if Newsweeks wants to publish a poll favoring Obama? It's not based on lies, there is a methodolgy if you care to study it, and no polls are perfect, nor are they true forever - they're a snapshot in time. Your old fart will probably bounce back soon - if he survives the first few months of the general election given his advanced years. (and thinking).

HolyRoller, I really do hate to say negative things about people personally, because I am all for having people have their own opinions. But come on, show some respect -- stop calling him Hussein; that's being being asinine.
