Comment: Laura Day is a uniquely stellar example of what she teaches - that we can all do and do possess these same abilities in our multi sensory perceptions.
The reason that Laura Day's 1st three best sellers had titles that began with "Practical intuition" is quite obvious.

Her work is based only on practical guidelines and insights and her track record is incredible.

Individuals continue to use Laura's services exactly because of their practical and demonstrable value. Laura Day pinpoints very basic primary information that will focus logic and insight and intuition on the real issues and the most beneficial response.
One element to investigate is some of the early tests done on Laura
in her youth when researchers tested he abilities to their satisfaction and astonishment.

Her decision to finally use her intuitive abilities as a profession AND also as a free gift to her friends and students has only been of great benefit to all sectors of business and creativity not to mention those in great need..most of which she does not charge any fee for.
It would do well to se her websites maintained at her expense not to sell books or courses or workshops but to assist in crisis management (Welcometoyourcrisis.com) and
    Practical intuition.com.
You can begin here to see a little more of what Laura Day has gifted the world with in her magnificent and talented way.

One might reflect on the fact that no corporation or professional board will even consider using an intuitive unless their track record
    creates word of mouth marketing
Reputations speak volumes and Laura hardly needs a referral for her most practical talents and gifts.
Suffice it to say that those of us who have experienced the fountain of inspiring and empowering wisdom from Laura Day???s work
    ???know the facts??? Why?
    We have researched her
lessons and her track record over many years now and have found it to produce excellent results and what we are talking about is results.

If this article was done in the 1500???s about Kepler or Galileo or Bruno it would have had quite a reaction so welcome to the affirmation that what we call ???science??? is quite often the last to test the materials.

For those thousands that have had demonstrable and life saving assistance from Laura Day but are not able to comment here I say ???We thank Newsweek for their prior detailed research which did indeed reveal the validity of Ms Day???s background and reputation before considering airing the show that brought about this ???discussion???.

Bravo Laura Day and Bravo Newsweek.

I sometimes also use Lexigramming in addition to my natural abilities.

Comment: Intuition is the key to psychic abilities and if you learn to "follow your gut instinct " you can learn to enlighten those qualities for your own benefit. There is an amazing quality some people have that others can question and comment on but experience is the real knowledge. Ask a question....see if you do find and concrete answers for yourself. I am not able to answer by psychic abilities but have seen someone answer questions that weren't by chance. Her web site is Spiritquest Healing Center and she has clients from all over the world....her name is Lisa Ann and maybe she can help you answer your questions.....

Comment: I notice that the journalist reports that the people who have used Ms Dayi's services and it has proved helpful do not want to be identified. I'm wondering about the ones for whom it did NOT prove helpful, and how they feel about being identified.
Secondly, why would the newsweek editor handling this story (?) let Tony Dokoupil get by with "...there are no atheists in foxholes." That cliche hasn't been accurate since about the time of the French Revolution. For a detailed account of humanists soldiers in foxholes, check out "Freethought Today," any issue in '08 or '07.

Comment: Listen, folks. Lighten up. I have been a professional clairvoyant since l980, shortly after I accurately
predicted that Skylab would fall to earth near Perth, Australia. (I have the newspaper to prove it).
Everyone has some natural psychic ability, just as most everyone can sing in the shower. But
some of us are "opera stars" and have unusual talent.
I have helped more than 25,000 people from all walks of life. You'd be surprised how many of
them are top corporate executives who pay out of their own pocket for my services. Why? Because
they care enough to do the very best job they can. They want to have extra help and are honest enough
to seek it when they need it.
In today's competitive world, it takes more than an MBA and a great resume to become a top
executive. Some of the finest have learned the edge of what they know and what they don't know
and are willing to find a way to peek over into that mysterious realm that people of my skills can
    discern.
If you're truly interested, you can learn to do this work yourself in my weekend course, the
Lightworker Intensive, being taught nationwide. The psychic ability comes out of the alpha state.
I teach people to meditate and to go to alpha "on demand". Once there, their intuition is keenly
heightened. I teach them to understand the images, symbols, feelings, and sensations that they
get and how to communicate them with clarity, compassion and without distortion.
I am also a minister, so that all of my readings are confidential, privileged even in a court of law.
I am delighted that Laura Day has been given a write up. Its time that the good work that intuitives
do comes out of the closet.
Believe me, these big corporations wouldn't be paying her the "big bucks" if she weren't producing.
The Bible says: "By their fruits you shall know them."
Ethical psychics give information that is priceless, life changing, healing and transformative.
Many people have been helped by our work, whether they are willing to admit it or not.
But as Shakespeare says: "The readiness is all."
Its a process that works in the spirit of cooperation.
Reading a skeptic doesn't work because they won't cooperate. Imagine Alexander Grahm Bell
telling someone he invented the telephone and all they have to do is pick up the receiver to hear
his voice. If a person says: No, its impossible, and won't pick up the receiver, then of course it
    won't work.
Its the same for a skeptic with a psychic. The person must be open to the experience for it to work.
    Its a two-person event.
I have been conducting intuition development lectures with the Edgar Cayce Foundation since
l991. If you go to a reliable and trusted source, you can get good solid information.
Just like anything else, it pays to shop around and get good references.
    Thank you.

Comment: It is better for the world to not know if you are psychic. Being psychic is like being sighted in a world of the blind, but not everyone with sight has it 20/20. Also, psychic premonitions are very time sensitive. If I am having a bad day its like my vision is blurry, or I am wearing the wrong persons glasses.
If you are psychic, you have to learn which impressions to trust, and to not deceive yourself (thats the big risk, thinking that because you cans ee things coming you can control them. You can not.)
If you are psychic, you are wise to keep it to yourself.

    Remember John 1:1-4

Comment: Lot's of claims, but no solid evidence that her psychic foresight is anything but occassional luck or perhaps exaggerated promotional claims. It certainly doesn't sound like Newsweek has dug deep into this, but rather passed along the story as entertaining fluff. Typically if one digs a bit the claims of business psychics include contact with dead, psuedoscience nonsense, or simply a talkative consultant that can swing a good story for $10,000 a talk and little follow-up by anyone. It's a bit like the stories behind TV crime psychics. Lot's of claims, but few look at the charades behind the claims. I have tracked the results of worldwide psychic detectives for more than 30 years and today each of the top 10 crime psychics all exhibit questionable claims. Exaggerated claims are common including even the few who have been sanctioned by leading law enforcement agencies. Psychic Noreen Renier is the only crime detective who worked closely with the Amnerica's FBI, but also has recently been found to have provided false claims. Comment: Gotta love the close minded ones , for they are the ones who need it the most. We could tell them their past, present, probable future, health problems, pets names, and why a loved one passed away , and they still wont believe, If they woke up one day and realized that they themselves had "gifts" or power or more abilities than they think they now have , they would not be so outwardly negative. Its sad to see the ones who have to revert to the terms scammers etc .. Id be willing to bet you dont us an Apple computer or wear Nikes, because the company slogans are "Think Different" and "Just Do It" respectively. And you dont have to be a psychic to know you do neither one. Have a beautiful day! admin@sixgigsunder.com

Comment: After several years of studying with Laura both in person and through her books, I see her as a visionary who wants to help people and the whole world be the best possible. Her expertise is intuition so that is what she focuses on. Laura has high integrity and cuts through the illusions and wishful thinking that unfortunately are all too common in the psychic community. The development of my intuition has helped me, my family and friends - and yes, also my employer by enhancing my work. To Laura's credit, she is very grateful for her well-deserved success, and is a role model for how generously she shares her wisdom, insights and resources. Laura Day is worth taking seriously - her teachings started me on a journey of exploring my intution that has changed my life.

Comment: WOW - Psychic Intuition. Can Corporate America really buy into this? What's next - ouije boards; special potions; trances that make the 'real' into the 'real'? Please. I apologize now to Laura Day - for making such a great income while providing little, if anything, to the employees and managers of our workforce. Maybe she could touch each employee on the forehead and yell "HEAL'. Sorry Laura - NO SALE>

I apologize now - Laura Day is full of self-appreciation, hawking an idea, a concept, a workshop that, at best, takes people away from their true responsibilities - and fills their minds with the truths they already are aware of. Sorry Laura - NO SALE>

Comment: This is the greatest article I have ever read. I am so happy to hear that someone can make this much money by scamming people. It should serve as an inspiration to us all that rich, wealthy, well paid people can be so gullible. Thank you, Newsweek, for printing this.

Comment: Laura Day ROCKS.She teaches people how to practice & use your own intuition more effectively. We are all intuitive. Some more than others. There is no wizardry here. She has a gift. And teaches people how to develop & use their own. And if she can make money from corporations wanting her advice, more power to her.We all gotta eat.

Comment: I agree, Miamigirl12, it is fear that causes people to react so negatively. I used to get very annoyed by people who quote the bible and slant it to serve their own needs. Now, I feel sorry for them.

We all have inborn instincts that can be interpreted as "psychic ablity", I view it as self preservation. It helps us avoid danger. It isn't supernatural at all, if anything it's unnatural to try and ignore our inner voice. It seems that Laura's books help people, I have not read any, but I seriously doubt she advises people to practice black magic.

  • Posted By: Miamigirl12 @ 06/27/2008 5:29:41 PM

Comment: What I am getting from most of these postings is that people who apparently have a very strong faith in God, a Higher Power or religion believe that compels them to deny having faith in themselves. I fundamentally disagree. I was raised in a Christian home, reading the Bible, and I have no doubt a Higher Power exists. I also know, however, that I have been given, in addition to 10 fingers, 10 toes, and 5 "regular" senses, the ability to intuit and to perceive information that does not present itself in the typical format. Sometimes I do it more readily than others. Sometimes I ignore my own knowing or inner voice and pay the price for it later. Anyone who is honest with himself will admit, he has had times in his life when he "just knew" things he had no empirical basis for knowing -- and he was right. For anyone who feels the Bible blasts intuition as corrupt, evil, or wrong, check out Sirach 37: 13-14 (from the Apocrypha), which reminds us "And establish the counsel of your own heart, for no one is more faithful to you than it is. For a man's soul sometimes keeps him better informed." Laura Day did not invent this idea -- she is reminding everyone of what has been recognized since the beginning of time. We really do know and, of course, that makes us responsible for what we do with that knowledge. I think that really is the scary part to many people.

Comment: Tony Dokoupil is insightful in his own right, as he thought very carefully when selecting this groundbreaking topic for Newsweek. Laura Day is a contemporary visionary with much to proffer at this time in our growth as individual souls operating within a 'group soul' network.

It was an honor to contribute whatever enlightenment I could when Tony interviewed me for this piece. Thank you for delving outside the proverbial "box," my friend. It has obviously awakened the spirit of quite a few who have been touched by your provocative words.

Comment: I took my husband to one of the 7 day work shops in 2005. My husband at the time, had an exec. position in the IT dept. at NBC Universal in Calif. A cerebral man that didn???t really give allot of time to things that were not tangible or scientifically explainable. During one of the breaks after training, my husband attempted to explain how he had known the personal life of a stranger he had sat with in training.

???This is not a dog a pony act in any way??? I told him. Her classes are a means and way to tap into what Laura keeps trying to tell us. ???Everyone has this ability??? There is no right or wrong with this, only a choice. A simple clear minded choice. Many people are afraid to acknowledge their intuition and unfortunately because most of us have come to know intuits or physics as people with darkened rooms and mysterious forms of communication. We tend to mock away our own ability. During one of the exercises, Laura invited outside visitors who were attending a different course on campus. One individual consistently joked with his friends while Laura spoke. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and the room was filled with people. I had to sit by an open door to get some fresh air. The individual approached me and pointed out the fact that I had distant myself and asked what I ???gathered??? from all of this. I looked at him and in a second, was able to tell him what his personal issues were. I was not surprised at what I knew. But mostly, I was caught off guard at how much I knew and revealed to him about himself. He looked shocked and for the first time, he listened.

I???ve had many times where I???ve been able to use my intuition to help my family and friends. It is a little scary to know that we average human beings have more to our senses then Sight, touch, smell, hear and taste. I truly hope more people embrace what Laura has chosen to teach. She is a sincere and good individual who respects her ability and the ability of others.

  • Posted By: think.4yourself @ 06/27/2008 1:19:16 PM

Comment: What I admire most about Laura is that she teaches her clients ???how to intuit??? on their own. She stresses the fact that intuition is just part of being human. She doesn???t strut around saying, ???Listen to me, only I know.??? Instead, she says, ???We all know??? and she insists that her clients learn to listen to themselves.

She supports making informed decisions and that means evaluating all the facts plus trusting one???s intuition. In the everyday chatter of our fast-paced lives we often disconnect with our own intuitive base. We begin to doubt ourselves and can fall prey to taking another???s direction contrary to our own. If anything, Laura is the antithesis of the ???stereotypical charlatan??? who stokes a relationship of dependency. She insists that you stand on your own two feet and take full ownership for your direction.

She is enthusiastic about her gifts and shares the ???how to??? with everyone. What distinguishes Laura is that she could choose to quietly proceed ??? she has enough clients to employee her most bountifully for the rest of her life. Instead she generously and quite courageously shares her knowledge. Kudos to Laura and Newsweek for having the bravery and backbone to report this story.

Comment: Intuition is sense- similar to smell, or taste, or sight, or touch. It is not exact just as these other senses are not exact, like when you see something or smell something that is not really there. Or you feel something on your skin and scratch only to find there is nothing in fact on your skin. Just as a chef may have a heightened sense of taste some people have a greater awareness of what is happening around them which tells a story (past and future). I have been aware of my intuitive skills for much of my life. I have predicted divorces to the month, marriages to people who hardly know each other 7 years later to the date (give or take a week), things that will happen with consumers (trends and such), children being born and when (which are not yet concieved), chance encounters, and other things. For much of my life I thought it was God speaking to me, for other seasons of my life I thought I was crazy, but then so much of it would come to fruition. It makes people uneasy and uncomfortable. Many times even the people who have an awareness of their intuition are uncomfortable with it. Becoming acquainted with Laura Day has helped me put words and understanding to much of the experiences and intuitive "readings" I have been able to do so much of my life.

Comment: Laura Day is a gifted intuitionist and a generous teacher. I have taken workshops and classes with her over the past two years to develop my intuition to make better decisions, and positive changes in my life.
Her book Welcome To Your Crisis, is an absolute gift that has helped me understand how myself and my loved ones, react to crisis, and how use that knowledge to utilize the crisis to move forward to create the life you want.

If you are lucky enough to live in the New York City area, Laura gives free monthly workshops at Barnes & Noble in Tribecca, there is one this Monday Night June 30th. You will see first hand how we all have intuition, and can learn to use it to create the lives we want. It isn't anything to be afraid of. Go to www.practicalintuition.com for details.

Comment: I started out as a skeptic a number of years ago, but anyone who has had personal experience with Laura Day or any of her workshops will be amazed by how genuine she is personally. I've attended a number of weekend workshops led by Laura and some of my own experiences have left me speechless.
Her book 'Practical Intuition' is just that ... practical. In her book she notes that Intuition is only one part of decision making. We should practice identifying the facts and getting use to what our gut feeling is telling us about those facts when faced with a decision. This is not crystal ball smoke and mirrors stuff, its practicing your intution so you will recognize your intuitive responses when you have them.
I am no longer a skeptic when it comes to my own gut feelings.

Whether you believe in it or not, doesnt really matter. The proof is that she is employed doing this by big corporations and is successful in getting the job done. To top it off, she is an incredibly generous and wonderful person.

There is not a single piece of scientific evidence that psych powers exist bu ton the converse many psychics have been debunked. Why does this article not mention that?

Comment: I am afraid that this is the logical end of clueless management. Since you credit Gabriel Lawson with this wonderful "innovative" way of "thinking out of the box" I tried to find out what Gabriel's background is. She is a graduate of Milligan College, a small Christian college in east Tennessee with programs in liberal arts, nursing and others. Reading the college's descriptions of its programs gave me much food for thought. I suspect that outrageous distractions at the Laura Day sessions may give Seagate folks a chance to "intuit" but I hope real decisions are made on much firmer ground. Otherwise the powerful Seagate may be be around for too long.

If they used a non psychic consultant, no one would be freaking out and quoting the bible. In the dark ages, people thought cats were evil, and what happened? The plague. Not everything is about good and evil, not everything is black and white. People need to learn to co-exsist. Live and let live.

I have seen the peoples faces when they come out of a reading....the joy.....even though most come to tears they are tears of joy instead of grief. Comment: I'm in an international business field, LA -Tokyo. It took me more than a decade to develop my business language "to make sense" on what I just simply knew intuitively. Intuition is part of all human function and it is up to us to use it consciously, intentionally. We use it all the time unconsciously anyway whether you admit or not. Easy access to public open data would generate more value on private intuitive insights than ever. And it is always efficient to have options besides everything we have from knowledge, study, marketing, etc., in order to create more choices quickly within a short amount of time, among competition especially in fast pace business scene. To me, it is wise and natural to use whatever we are capable for gathering information on what we want to create as better outcome. Being trained by Laura Day for years made me become more capable in business as a clarity specialist. But most importantly, it allowed me to share others who are willing to develop intuitive muscle for their happiness and success as well. If you are open to build your business intuitive skill, I would send you to "The Practical Intuition" book as your first step. All the best.

Comment: VeronicaMGH, While your questions for Laura Day are compelling and raise a mysterious point of why not. You are not holding the correct context. My suggestion would be for you to take the time to read The Circle; healing the world is not about looking to someone else for answers, it is about anchoring your own healing and forgiveness and that is what resonates healing. You can ask why all day for the horrible crimes committed against innocent people, but it is a collective effort. Not to "prove" others wrong so you can be right. Laura Day???s point is not..."Look at me; I make rich men richer through using my intuition." It is to teach people to use their intuition.
I have taken Laura Day's workshop and she is authentic and I felt she was extremely aware of the world???s confusion.
Give yourself the gift of reading The Circle, you will be changed...I promise. You are obviously a compassionate woman.....share that with the world. We need more people like you.
    Sincerely,

I have in the past paid for a psychic so I am a believer that some people have an active 6th sense. She helps guide rich businessmen make more money and gets paid very well but what does she do for charity? Could she go to a medical laboratory (in the USA please) and guide the scientists to a cure for cancer, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, diabetes, AIDS? Because the billions of dollars they get is not finding a cure. How about going down to the FBI offices once a month and finding all those lost children. Please point Natalie's Holloway's mom in the right direction. Please help bring Madeline McCann home and please tell us who killed JonBenet.

Oh, I filed for divorce not he, however, thankfully, being intutive does not mean you know everything. We all have our blind spots and anyone who tells you that they cannot make a mistake or that they know the absolute truth is someone to run, not walk, run away from!

Comment: You seem rootless. Worrying so about others' actions. Why?
Everyone effects everyone to some extent. Some do so more than others.
Successful people do so more; less, less.
Money is not the problem, the love of it and the hate of it is. Get over both and just
find your dream and go for that. Loving what you do energizes everything and moves
      your thinking beyond the trivial.

  • Posted By: secularmedium @ 06/25/2008 3:41:12 PM

Comment: The words are long; the thought is short. You provide a fashionable take on the nature, goals and
consequences of corporations. In fact, corporations create jobs, products, services, increase
economic standards for everyone, nationally and abroad. That the people who work in corporations
do so for wages is tedious. Unless your money comes from welfare, then you must work, too, and
I suspect that you, too, expect money for your work. That some people make more money is
irrelevant. I am a medium, poet, author and artist, not a corporation buff; but I value success in
whatever field, and those working in and for corporations are often at the height of their game.
Good luck to them. Why should anyone envy them? They work long hours and receive great
pay, so what? So they advertise their products and services. No one has to buy. It is only in
dictatorships that people are forced to comply. Advertising is the tool of democracies not
dictatorships. So sometimes I have to resist an add; are we imbeciles who cannot think
for outselves that seductive advertising should be considered offensive? So what if corporations
help the politicians they like. Dont we all? Corporation business practice in the West, and
    particularly in America is the best on earth. Study such practices in undeveloped countries;
in socialist networks and other dictatorships. No such accountablity and transparency arises
outside the West. I think we should be grateful that corporations exist and glad that they
succeed, we would all have fewer jobs, lower wages and less opportunity without them.
They also add supremely to the tax base which helps everyone, tho that is not their problem.

  • Posted By: baspursfan @ 06/25/2008 3:31:07 PM

Comment: why should corporations be responsible for the ills of the world, corporations shouldnt be responsible for the ills of the world but they are responsible , when a organization deems profit as its reason for existence and models itself towards that in it becomes the enemy of mankind slavery coal mines diamonds the drug trade both legal and illegal are examples of people putting there money and expertise where there soul should have been. corporate greed hidden by slick advertisements geared to manipulate in more than one way , enabled and empowered by the politicians they elect , entrenched by the laws and buisness practices they devise to have you and I conform to. Success as you describe it , is on the backs of masses to benefit a few. So as i see it corporate entitlement and the devils playthings the psychics are a perfect fit.

  • Posted By: secularmedium @ 06/25/2008 3:04:30 PM

Comment: Why should corporations or psychics who work for them be responsible for the ills of the world?
Corporations innovate, take risks, put their money and expertise where their moth is and take
advice when it is proven to be advantageous. Sounds smart to me, but then successful people
tend to look out for themselves and be personally responsible for their own actions.
Unsuccessful people tend to envy this, expect others to look out for and take care of them,
and tend to blame others for their actions, not themselves. So whats new?
Unsuccessful people envy and try to belittle successful people, even as they live off the
welfare payments of taxpayers. Good luck to corporations so long as they dont pollute
and to psychis and others who help, guide and benefit from same.
To those who believe god, ghosts or other aliens are behind psychic work, think again.
Precognition, telepathy, other-dimensional travel, diagnosis and healing are all natural
aspects of all consciousness. Re-member who you are and what you can do.

This is not accurate in the least. According to the Bible, Joseph had the ability to perceive dreams only by God's will. Many of the social programs, the arts, research that we enjoy and need come from the profits of "Big business". It is not how much money you make that counts it what you do with it and the many other resources we have. If you read my books you will see that my claim is not that I am different but that we are all more or less the same. Comment: Everyone without exception can visoin or sense the future. As a species, we would not have
evolved had we been unable to 'know' of danger in advance and avoid it. Also, these
abilities clarify our present and future opportunities. We must also not ignore the positive
aspects and only think that these abilities focus on the negative.
As a professional medium, the fact is that it is not empty-headed morons without a life
who come to me. It is ambitious future-oriented professionals in business, the arts,
the services and government. These people are intelligent and they want an edge on the
future. It is true, unfortunately, that many people who are lonely, disturbed and need
attention go to underdeveloped psychics and they often enter dependency relationships
which gives those of us who work authentically a bad name. Still, we must not measure
this by the lowest common denomenator. M. Moran secularmedium@yahoo.com

Comment: I often used my intuition in my law enforcement career. It never let me down. I always wondered if I could change fate, though. Before going into work on night I awoke at 9pm to an overwhelming, all encompassing feeling that I was going to die that night. I "knew" that this was the night. I had heard about people in wars that also "knew" and they bought the farm. I remember looking at my 3 year old son sleeping and the profound feeling that I "knew" that I would never see him again and that he was about to not have a Dad watch him grow up or be there for him through life. Well, later when two armed robbers tried to shoot me, I reacted faster due to the earlier feeling that I had. I came out on top. I survived because I followed that intuition. Had I not followed my intuition and reacted before one of them drew his gun, I simply would not be here today. I followed my "gut feeling" and I came out on top. That was in 1987. So, to those that are reading this article about Laura and others that use their intuition and develope it to a heightened level, all I can say is: yes, it is real. Yes some of us have it or use it more than others. It is simple...........embrace it, or reject it and go your way.

Well, when two armed robbers tried to shoot me, I reacted faster than they did because of that "feeling" or intuition. I came out on top. Call it intuition, or, call it being watched over by and angel (most likely the other cop that had been killed by armed robbers in the same location). I don't know. All I know is that some of use our intuition more than others. We are blessed to know how to read it and to understand it. We are smart enough to employ it in our lives. I never even heard of Laura Day before reading this article a few minutes ago. It works, I know. She is real. That is for sure.

If more people were more intuned to basic human behavior, we would all be in a better state. And the inflated paychecks that go to the charlatains could be put to better use like funding education.

Comment: Its been done and nothing is new under the sun.The spirit of divination has probaly been called a lot of things through out the history of mankind, but if it isnt ordained by God then it is a false god. By calling it intuition a attribute of mankind even though the phrase female intuition is more common , we are in essence claiming godhood. Mankind can now cast off the authority of a God ,and whatever is in his heart can be realized boundaries and restrictions will fall in the path of whatever feels good whatever gratifies. History has shown us such indidviduals that operated outside the contraints of the true God, Power is corruptable , we all lust for it on some level even at its infant stage of self control, to be able to see things and to know thing with out the natural process of discovery, is a coveted ability, and is what has been the apple of mankinds eye since the garden of eden, where satan with logic, temptation and persuasion challenged a woman to attain power not given to her. Intuition, witchcraft divination, soothsayer whatever you want to call it, anything that causes you to lean to your own faulty understanding of Gods creation, and to ignore the word of God designed to show you God's way of dealing with life and his creation is foolish. God's design has a purpose this power Laura Day exercises imagine us all having it or even the process of all of us attaining it no way do i want my every thought bared to the world i for one will admit the darkness in my heart but that doesnt mean I will succumb to that darkness , that it will determine my actions and what contribution i will make in this world how then is a psychic going to percieve that. Fear is a catalyst fear of the unknown fear of failure Gods design is to teach us faith and to cling to him and not our own understanding because we are not God , and God is good ! Bush hitler Idi amin men given carte blanche ,power and no opposition are guilty of heinous crimes, but dont point the finger because there is a little of them in each and everyone of us. We all want the power to make things go our way but our way is the problem.

Comment: Now that is an interesting question: Why aren't all the lotteries won by psychics?
In fact, none are. We worked out why: In order to do this work, the psychic or medium
must work with the intention of service for the other person. To try the lottery numbers
for yourself would not work because you would be too subjective. Detachment and
neutrality are key to objective visioning or the future, or the lottery numbers. Either way,
the psychic loses out because she can rarely be that detached when considering
her own advantage. M. Moran www.secularmediums.com

Comment: There is no time or sequence. These are cognitive constructs we create to avoid experiencing
what would seem like chaos, eg., everything happening at once. We live in a simultaneity or
eternal present which enables us to see the future as easily and fully as seeing the past.
Precognition: visualizing the future, is a significant survival characteristice more important
than running. If you knew that bear would be behind that left bush on Tuesday at 1 pm would
you go there? Precognition makes running irrelevant and we all agree that running is a
    survival characteristic.
All psychic-spiritual work relies not on ghosts or any other supernatural hocus pocus, but on
deliberate meditative detachment. Detaching enables our limited ego to withdraw so we can
see in any direction objectively. When working with client, I also detach from their ego in order
to see clearly. The other side of detachment is alignment - the moving over to the other person's
energy field or vibration so you can experience their lives as them temporarily. Its a Martin Bubur
I and Thou moment. Moving behond the spirits and ghosts or the tribal mind enables us to see
that these abilities are normal, natural; only repressed by religions and other groups that have
wanted to locate all such powers within their own priest class and explain them via their own
doctrines. The 21st century will teach everyone that we are all essentially divine and that the
means of all knowing reside within each one of us. Like elecyricity, these powers must be used
responsibly and humanely. Mary Moran www.secularmediums.com

Comment: I am here to say that I myself have the ability to have "intuitions" and take offense to the previous comment that all psychics are liars. I do not lie to people; I tell them what I see. I believe the comment was posted at best, by an idiot! Knoxville, TN

Comment: Being psychic myself sometimes is scary. Premonitions I have gotten since childhood, most involving other people and accidents, where the haunting ones, especially since I thought if I had told someone these incidents could have been prevented. Reading tarot cards helps focus the wave of information. I read for friends and don't charge letting them pay by taking me out to l
