Comment: I think It is about time for Americans to stop fighting proxy wars for Israel in the Middleeast. Instead America should worry about the danger of emerging military and economic powers, like, China and Russia...etc.
Americans are wasting time and resources by letting Israel and Israeili lobby comtrolling its foriegn policy, At the same time jeoperdising its interests with Arab and muslim contries. Islamic terrorism is created because of American wrong policies in the Middleeast. American pro-Israel policies feed the Islamic terrorism. Israel keeps decieving moderate arabs and the world by lying and rejecting to implement the UN resolutions which lead to peace between Israel and Plaestinians by establishing palestinian state. Israel doesn not want peace in the Middleeast or wants to return the occupied terretories to palestinians, because of the it keeps creating new enemis for America to finght , Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Iran....etc.

Listen to King AbdullahII, before it is too late.

Comment: My research shows peace is obtainable, right now, and it is timely for this introduction. King Abdullah like all others want to have clearity to a vision of the ability to framework a methodology for a two state middle east that depicts a success. This is possible. Question is: Is the world ready. Two such [religious related] advents are predestined to cause peace 1) return of God, but what can a person do about that. 2) the 666 System and the Anti-Christ, but the man does not matter, it is the system. That is why I raided the scrolls and constructed the 666 system. ---- All are told that the 666 System will bring peace . http://www.web3.ez1020.com: . please be carefull and don't go calling me names, I am rather sensitive, I have went through a lot to obtain this knowledge, so therefore deal with it. This world needs peace and the clock is ticking. mcqube@hotmail.com

Comment: A military strike in Iran today will only elicit a reaction from Iran and Iranian proxies

THE POINT THAT I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IS: LESS THAT 20% (PROBABLY LESS THAN 5%) OF THE U.S. PEOPLE WOULD HAVE WANTED TO "BRING FREEDOM" TO THE IRAQIS; THEREFORE WE (GEORGE BUSH) IS SUPPOSEDLY BRINGING DEMOCRACY TO IRAQ BY IGNORING DEMOCRACY IN THIS COUNTRY........................PRETTY FRIGGIN' LAME!

Comment: King Abdullah of Jordan have a serious image problem in the arab world. He is perceived as a big spender/borrower/money lover. As such, his policies are shaped by who can give the most financial aid to his kingdom. I believe he is what they call in Texas "An empty suit". But he sure can talk!

Comment: We need to get out of Iraq and transfer responsibility and management of that country to the IRAQ's themselves. THEY SHOULD be backed by a multinational force led by Middle Eastern countries until they are able to fight extremist on their own.
Our unilateral approach in the MIDDLE EAST has to come to an end. ECONOMICALLY, IRAQ IS KILLING the average tax payer and making a few private contractors and oil firms rich.

We need Oil. WE NEED OIL. Therefore, getting rid of the Iranian regime is at the top of our agenda.
The majority in Iran want change but not under and American led invasion. It has to be done from within. We lost the support of moderate Arabs and Muslims over the last six years. Hopefully, PRESIDENT OBAMA can empower this group and encourage them to meet with their counterparts.

Inotherwords there should be an alliance between all moderates in the Middle East, JEWS, ARABs, MUSLIMS, ect... These forces must be self motivated by a common cause, Peace. IF this group can be strengthened they themselves will defeat or at least contain the force of extremism.
WE must strengthen the forces behind peace and weaken those against peace on both sides.

THE UNITED STATES CANNOT SOLVE THE CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST. WE CAN ONLY STRENGHTEN AND SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF THE MIDDLE EAST TO SOLVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS.

IN THE SHORT RUN WE NEED MIDDLE EASTERN OIL. THIS COMPLICATES OUR ROLE OVER THERE.
WE Should have had an ENERGY SUMMIT TEN YEARS AGO. WE NEED TO COME UP WITH A TWENTY YEAR PLAN to RID OURSELVES of OIL DEPENDENCY IN THE MIDDLE EAST. TWENTY YEARS WILL GO BY LIKE NOTHING. WE HAVE TO START NOW.

THE most dangerous threats are the ones you do not see coming. LIKE CHINA, RUSSIA, EASTERN EUROPEAN organized crime. Monitoring these entities will be our great challenge.
ARE WE READY FOR CYBER WAR. I DON't THINK SO.

Comment: King Abdullah, like his father before him, has been a real stabolizing force in the Middle East. Jordon is a small country but a loud voice in the Arab world. His is well educated and well informed. Everyone in a place of power that can influince the politics of the region and advance the peace process between Isrial and the Arabs should really pay attention to what this man has to say. The US and Bush especially, has never really taken this man serously and have only paid attention to what he recommends when it has suited our agenda. He has always advocated talking to everyone in the region, including Iran, Hamas and all the other countries and logitimate interests of the region. He is under utilized in my oppinion.

Comment: Jordan wants peace and a two state solution, but if you read other articles (read one here titled: We are prepared) you will obviously realize how oppose the rest of the arab countries are to the two state idea and what they are doing to prevent it. I agree 100% with the commentator Tan Boon Tee....Washington should take notes on how to change directions and do the talk and walk the walk.

Comment: Jordan has been playing a significant key role in the Middle-east peace process, and the King understands the delicate situation well.

His views impress me deeply, for they concur with mine on several points:
    1. The inability to resolve Israel-Palestine conflict affects America???s credibility, resulting in the diminishing influence of the US in the Middle-east.
    2. Any rash military action against Iran will not do the region any good; instead, it could only aggravate the precarious situation further.
    3. The surging oil price will prompt nations without oil to go for nuclear energy and build reactors indiscriminately, and this may complicate matters on nuclear proliferation.

Perhaps Washington would want to take note of the above seriously.
