Cindy, I don't believe you about having a happy marriage. Every time I see you and your husband in the Media, you are always a few feet behind him, or if you are right next to him you are almost cut out to the point I can only see your arm. The Obamas on the other hand when together are always seen together in the media SIDE BY SIDE. Barak would never let his wife trail behind him and always keep her right beside him. I guess this is because he realizes that Michelle is his strength. John on the other hand, even before this article came out, I always had the feeling that he does not value you the way you DESERVE to be valued. I know a wife should always stand by her man, but truthfully, as women, there must come a time when we say enough is enough, and the men in our lives should treat us at least half of the love that we have for them, or make them suffer with the consequences of their actions and leave them! Men can get away with half of the things that we as women if we even tried to do would get us killed!

McCain admitted during a televised interview that he was carrying on an affair with cindy. He has accepted full responsibility or at least claims to. I wonder if the same holds true for Cindy. I mean she made references to God during this interview but if she is a christian then I am sure she knows that messing around with a married man is a sin. The bible labels the woman a whoress. Cindy, have you no shame. You reap what you sow. I do not wish you bad but by the same token I do not have sympathy for you. Your past discretions are the kind of behavior that contribute to the demise of a family. I teach my daughters to avoid the very appearance of evil and as far as I am concerned YOU fall into that category.

McCain openly admitted to carrying on an affair with Cindy while he was married to his first wife. McCain said he takes full responsibility for his infidelity but I wonder if Cindy does. She sure does come off like she is a victim. However, the fact that she knew he was married and continued the relationship does not say much for her as a person with morals. In fact, Cindy talked about God in that interview. Does cindy know that the bible says you are a whoress when you lay down with another man whom you have no rights to? Cindy, get a clue. I do not think much of you and I would never look at you as a role model or something for my daughters to aspire to. If anything I teach my daughters to avoid the very apperance of evil and as far as I am concerned YOU definitely fall into that category.

I would have to take CiNDY over Michelle ANY day!

I really knew very little about Cindy McCain except what I saw on television and was anxious to read this article to find out about the real women behind that scary smile. What about this relationship says "Family Values"? They met and dated (not to mention the almost 20 year age gap) while he was still married with children. Most of their married lives have been spent apart. She has always been well off, yet comes across as if she has lived a hard life.

So they lied about their ages. Did McCain also lie about his marital status -- or did young Cindy Lou just not care that she was smitten with another woman's husband? I really don't think that Cindy McCain is the kind of woman I would want my daughter to emulate.

"When I first met John, and the story has been told a lot, we both lied about our ages."

Lying does not inspire confidence in a candidate running for president. Look what it did for Bill Clinton.
And a question, does Cindy have any regrets having an affair with John when he was a married man?

Cindy, yu will make a great First Lady, and John is the kind of man we need for President of this great country.

    she doesn't sound convinced....

  • Posted By: nirak @ 06/23/2008 8:09:22 PM

Cindy claims she is her Husbands best friend, but not even my best friend would call me a stupid C--t and this is her husband for heavens sake.
If I had her money, I wouldn't have stayed one day longer with him.
    That woman is lacking something!

That 'trollop' makeup she wears is probably to hide the bruises he put on her. His temper is legendary and I do not want his judgement pushing little red buttons.

Cindy you are wearing the pants. You are worth $100 million while he's nothing but a cheating sob. Break away from him.

He would have been picking his doddering a$$ up off the floor before the (T) sound left his mouth. We would have made news that day, as he called her these names in front of reporters and an aide.

We need to get out of Iraq and transfer responsibility and management of that country to the IRAQ's themselves. THEY SHOULD be backed by a multinational force led by Middle Eastern countries until they are able to fight extremist on their own.
Our unilateral approach in the MIDDLE EAST has to come to an end. ECONOMICALLY, IRAQ IS KILLING the average tax payer and making a few private contractors and oil firms rich.

We need Oil. WE NEED OIL. Therefore, getting rid of the Iranian regime is at the top of our agenda.
The majority in Iran want change but not under and American led invasion. It has to be done from within. We lost the support of moderate Arabs and Muslims over the last six years. Hopefully, PRESIDENT OBAMA can empower this group and encourage them to meet with their counterparts.

Inotherwords there should be an alliance between all moderates in the Middle East, JEWS, ARABs, MUSLIMS, ect... These forces must be self motivated by a common cause, Peace. IF this group can be strengthened they themselves will defeat or at least contain the force of extremism.
WE must strengthen the forces behind peace and weaken those against peace on both sides.

THE UNITED STATES CANNOT SOLVE THE CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST. WE CAN ONLY STRENGHTEN AND SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF THE MIDDLE EAST TO SOLVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS.

IN THE SHORT RUN WE NEED MIDDLE EASTERN OIL. THIS COMPLICATES OUR ROLE OVER THERE.
WE Should have had an ENERGY SUMMIT TEN YEARS AGO. WE NEED TO COME UP WITH A TWENTY YEAR PLAN to RID OURSELVES of OIL DEPENDENCY IN THE MIDDLE EAST. TWENTY YEARS WILL GO BY LIKE NOTHING. WE HAVE TO START NOW.

THE most dangerous threats are the ones you do not see coming. LIKE CHINA, RUSSIA, EASTERN EUROPEAN organized crime. Monitoring these entities will be our great challenge.
ARE WE READY FOR CYBER WAR. I DON't THINK SO.

I agree that politicians children are off limits for comments unless that child is an adult AND is actively campaigning for the parent like Chelsea was.

I agree as well. I'm glad Obama's children have been pretty much untouched and ignored (from what I've seen). No child should have to be drawn into one of these campaigns, and they're especially young.

It's sad McCain's children got pulled in back in 2000, but the press seems to be treating them better this go around. I do still wish they wouldn't spread the story about his sons serving in the military so much. I can understand why the McCains would be worried about the publicity making them a target. It was obvious Cindy didn't want to discuss it, but the reporter seemed a bit pushy. But on the other hand, it's good for people to know McCain knows what it's like to send a son to fight and the risks involved.

Some of you who read my posts about investment banks driving up the price of oil through commodities futures trading did not believe me that this was a real issue, despite the fact that the Senate is investigating it. Well, it really is an issue and an important one, so important the the Department of Justice is going to investigate.

Today Senator Obama announced a plan today to crack down on excessive energy speculation and fully close the loophole in the CFTC regulations that I referred to in my blog. This loophole is also called the "Enron Loophole" because it was created by McCain Campaign co-chair Phil Gramm at the behest of Enron lobbyists, and exempts most trading on energy commodities from regulation. As a result, the CFTC is unable to oversee the oil futures market or investigate cases where excessive speculation is driving up oil prices. Just last month, John Hofmesiter, President of Shell Oil Company, says that the proper, uninflated production price of a barrel of crude oil is no more than $65.

    http://www.financialpost.com/reports/oil-watch/story.html?id=532747

Clarence Cazalot, CEO of Marathon Oil, stated in November of 2007 that "$100 oil just isn't justified by the physical demand on the market - it is speculation on the futures market that is driving this."

    http://money.cnn.com/2007/11/12/markets/oil_hundred/index.htm?postversion=2007111216

Larry Chom, Chief Economist of Platt's, states in a recent Businessweek article that speculation is adding at least $50 to the price of every barrel of oil. You can read this article in the May 13, 2008 edition of Businessweek, but it is no longer available on their website unless you are a member.

To see what Senator Obama is doing to correct this serious problem and lower the price of gas and oil, go to his website:

Now THAT is my kind of President! Sees the problem, and moves to fix it, while Bush and McCain are sitting on their hands.

WillNotVote, I just love it when you set yourself up to be schooled. You give a web address for the Obama's page on the Senate.gov website. Each Senator sets up their own pages there. You have directed the reader to Obama's page where he prints, for the world to see, his voting record on every bill that comes before the Senate. Here is that address:

    http://obama.senate.gov/votes/index.cfm?start=1

You sent the reader to this page because it shows that Obama did not vote on many of the recent bills, and you want to make it look like Obama is asleep on the job. It must be mentioned, however, that Clinton, McCain and Obama have all missed many votes during the campaign season. However, if the reader will take the trouble to page through Obama's voting record, they will see that Obama has been present for all of the important votes. Obama has been present and voted on 62 of the 154 bills before Congress in the current session beginning January 2008. Clinton has voted on 56 of these 154 bills. And McCain, who had already won the primary and didn't have to start campaigning against Obama until three weeks ago, McCain voted on only 33 of 154 bills.

As I have exposed in one of my earlier blogs, McCain missed more than half of his votes, even before he started running for President. In the First Session of the 110th Congress (2007), McCain missed a whopping 56% of his votes. McCain doesn't want you to know this, so when you go to his Senate web page, there is no tab to click to see his voting record (http://mccain.senate.gov). An American who wants to know how McCain votes has to look it up on the Library of Congress website (not user friendly) or go to the Washington Post website:

    http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/members/m000303/votes/

While you are there, pay special attention to McCain's votes on March 13 and 14, 2008. On those days we know he was present, because he voted on 22 bills. But he refused to vote on 22 other bills. He failed to vote on bills concerning border security, alien removal and English in the workplace, even though he has set himself up as the candidate who wants immigration reform favorable to Hispanics. He also failed to vote on the bills regarding efficient energy production, even though he claims to be in favor of this. He must not be very much in favor of efficient energy and immigration reform since her refused to vote even though he was present. As for Obama and Clinton, they were both present those days, and they both voted on all 44 bills.

McCain knows that public perception is all that matters, so he gives a news conference and says he supports certain issues, even though he refuses to vote in favor of them. He knows that most Americans never take the time to look up his voting record, and he makes sure that his Senate web page doesn't include this information.

I find it ironic that your blogger name is "WillNotVote." Did you get that name from John McCain?
