We need to get out of Iraq and transfer responsibility and management of that country to the IRAQ's themselves. THEY SHOULD be backed by a multinational force led by Middle Eastern countries until they are able to fight extremist on their own.
Our unilateral approach in the MIDDLE EAST has to come to an end. ECONOMICALLY, IRAQ IS KILLING the average tax payer and making a few private contractors and oil firms rich.

We need Oil. WE NEED OIL. Therefore, getting rid of the Iranian regime is at the top of our agenda.
The majority in Iran want change but not under and American led invasion. It has to be done from within. We lost the support of moderate Arabs and Muslims over the last six years. Hopefully, PRESIDENT OBAMA can empower this group and encourage them to meet with their counterparts.

Inotherwords there should be an alliance between all moderates in the Middle East, JEWS, ARABs, MUSLIMS, ect... These forces must be self motivated by a common cause, Peace. IF this group can be strengthened they themselves will defeat or at least contain the force of extremism.
WE must strengthen the forces behind peace and weaken those against peace on both sides.

THE UNITED STATES CANNOT SOLVE THE CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST. WE CAN ONLY STRENGHTEN AND SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF THE MIDDLE EAST TO SOLVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS.

IN THE SHORT RUN WE NEED MIDDLE EASTERN OIL. THIS COMPLICATES OUR ROLE OVER THERE.
WE Should have had an ENERGY SUMMIT TEN YEARS AGO. WE NEED TO COME UP WITH A TWENTY YEAR PLAN to RID OURSELVES of OIL DEPENDENCY IN THE MIDDLE EAST. TWENTY YEARS WILL GO BY LIKE NOTHING. WE HAVE TO START NOW.

THE most dangerous threats are the ones you do not see coming. LIKE CHINA, RUSSIA, EASTERN EUROPEAN organized crime. Monitoring these entities will be our great challenge.
ARE WE READY FOR CYBER WAR. I DON't THINK SO.

I think Obama has a pretty clear picture of what needs to change in Washington. If he'd spent a whole lot more time there, he wouldn't know it any better, but he might be sucked into it's entanglements as so many have been. I don't think sitting around drinking and talking about the latest affairs with staffers would make him a more able leader. I've listened to all he says for months now and followed him closely. I trust him because he's shown himself to be trustworthy. I'll stick with Obama.

Considering it taints you if you are in Washington too long I'd say the BEST chance of fixing it is to be an outsider you dont have experience something directly to know its NOT WORKING. My guess it doesnt take Eistein to figure out why its not working. Greed and Power corrupts I've never been to Washington but I bet thats is what is at the heart of this INEFFICIENT burearucracy.

Police officers in Portland, Oregon, are still waiting for an apology from Barack Obama after campaign staffers of his recent rally in Portland, Oregon, setup porta potties directly on top of the Portland Police Memorial, which honors the agency???s 25 fallen police officers.

The Obama rally drew a crowd of over 75,000 people.



Officer Thomas Brennan, who was working overtime at the rally, took a picture of the offending toilets, with the American flag still at half mast because of Police Officers Memorial Day, directly behind them. The local law enforcement memorial service had been held at the site only five days earlier.



Despite a large amount of open areas in the vicinity, the campaign staffers claimed the toilets were placed on the memorial for safety reasons to accommodate wheelchair access.



At a time when Law Enforcement Officers are losing their lives in the line of duty on a daily basis, the Obama campaign shows NO SYMPATHY! Barack is ANTI LAW ENFORCEMENT! That is proven in his voting record. He votes for laws to protect the criminal more than for the police officer or law abiding citizen! The Obama campaign has not responded to requests for an apology.

President Obama Signs $8500.00 Per Household Tax Into Law: Funds To Go To The United Nations To Combat Global Poverty!



Make no mistake, the headline above is a lot closer to fact than you may think! So if you're wondering what an Obama presidency would be like, look no further than the above headline!



What the media is NOT telling you is that Barack Hussein Obama does, in fact, have a legislative record in the Senate and one of his proudest accomplishments is The Global Poverty Act (S. 2433).


But wait just a minute! Isn't combating poverty around the world a noble goal?



Well... the devil, as they say, is in the details!



Some conservative leaders are already sounding the alarm and telling us that, if passed, Barack Hussein Obama's Global Poverty Act will commit us to a stealth United Nations-inspired global tax of $845 Billion dollars... that comes to approximately an $8500.00 tax burden for every household in the United States!



Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media wrote: "The legislation, if approved, dedicates 0.7 percent of the U.S. gross national product to foreign aid, which... would amount to $845 billion 'over and above what the U.S. already spends.'"



"The plan passed the House in 2007 'because most members didn't realize what was in it.' Congressional sponsors have been careful not to calculate the amount of foreign aid spending that it would require."



Remember the Food for Oil Scandal? Let's face it; the United Nation's actual record on ending pain and suffering around the world is pathetic and dismal.



The questions to ask are, first, how much of our money that goes to the United Nations right now actually winds up lining the pockets of third-world dictators and despots? And, second, if Obama's plan succeeds, how much of his new $845 billion giveaway will end up in those same pockets?



Barack Hussein Obama's Global Poverty Act MUST be STOPPED! Time is of the essence! Obama's Global Poverty Act actually has the support of some prominent RINOs such as Senator Richard Lugar and Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph Biden, who just pushed Obama's world welfare bill out of committee. It could be up for a vote in the Senate AT ANY TIME!



Barack Hussein Obama MUST be stopped. But more importantly, his so-called Global Poverty Act -- which has already passed in the House (because most Members simply didn't know what was in it) and is presently being pushed through the Senate -- MUST be stopped.


This $845 Billion is not included in the $874 Billion on the Barack Spend-O-Meter! This new debt would break the Trillion Dollar mark!

Some of you who read my posts about investment banks driving up the price of oil through commodities futures trading did not believe me that this was a real issue, despite the fact that the Senate is investigating it. Well, it really is an issue and an important one, so important the the Department of Justice is going to investigate.

Today Senator Obama announced a plan today to crack down on excessive energy speculation and fully close the loophole in the CFTC regulations that I referred to in my blog. This loophole is also called the "Enron Loophole" because it was created by McCain Campaign co-chair Phil Gramm at the behest of Enron lobbyists, and exempts most trading on energy commodities from regulation. As a result, the CFTC is unable to oversee the oil futures market or investigate cases where excessive speculation is driving up oil prices. Just last month, John Hofmesiter, President of Shell Oil Company, says that the proper, uninflated production price of a barrel of crude oil is no more than $65.

Clarence Cazalot, CEO of Marathon Oil, stated in November of 2007 that "$100 oil just isn't justified by the physical demand on the market - it is speculation on the futures market that is driving this."

Now THAT is my kind of President! Sees the problem, and moves to fix it, while Bush and McCain are sitting on their hands.

The "intelliphobe" is a dying bread, first showing their faces in late 01 early 02, they were strong then, by the 04 election they had fallen off to about 51% of the population, they were how ever able to secure the 04 election, that alone has cost the US over 3000 more children, DEAD in Iraq, because of FEAR of Intelligence. It 06 we saw the first significant CHANGE when Democrats were given a SLIM majority in Congress. (note: this is not a veto proof majority, and prior to 06 Bush and NEVER used his veto pen, since over 100 times). The 51% has now died of to about 15% of Americans who suffer with this illness, and it is expected that between November 08 and Jan 09 they will be almost entirely extinct, with the exception of the FOX NOISE GROUP where it is believed this disease started, theirs will be a long process of "healing".
So don't worry, use this information to help them, don't judge them, as they are a dying bread and it is their fear that makes them irrational, and say things they know to NOT be true. Just try to help them and eventually TOGETHER we will have a great country again ;).
