The only age issue he has, is he has been waiting to be president too long and is willing to compromise his principles. He is no maverick!!!! He let the race-baiters who insulted his family (the Bush people who spread the false rumor about hie daughter in 2000 off the hook!!!). He said nothing about this in the main stream press! He may be a hero in war but he is a coward in defending his own family. The same people who started that whispering campaign work for him now!! McCain has sold his soul! He bends over for the GOP establishment!!!!

Of course Obama is taking his time....he has no plan and still has to borrow from everyone else's plans and then call it his own. Some change in politics.

A country Blue-Print Plan is NOT an single hand at work,Obma knows we must work as the Team many logictics ,management expert,etc...,Maybe you might thought Hilter single handed solo Planning might works in America?

-This is about what one would expect from a magazine that has sold its integrity to the highest bidder - Barrack Obama.

Leave it to you to call McCain's age a "liability". Why don't you just go a head and say what you really feel?

Well, as an American citizen who really loves this country I wouuld rather have an old fossil who really loves it than some young *** who says our flage is a symbol of oppression.

Bet you don't have much of a curculation now-days, you piece of dog doo.

Suppose Exxon or Chevron gets the right to drill off California and can make a good profit selling the oil they produce there at $50/barrel. By that time however, the world price could easily be $100/barrel higher than that. Forget patriotism, if you think "our" oil companies will sell to the US at anything less than the world market price you just don't understand capitalism.

Ya know! We (America) are our worst enemies sometimes. The ol' 'NOTHING WILL WORK ATTITUDE' just eats me up at times! Maybe this particular plan won't work as hoped, but you know what, let's get the freakin' ball rollin' in the right direction!

      NOW THERE'S A NOVEL IDEA!!!

Be Realistic with logical substances not just temporary political gimmicks .This blue -print of the country needs carefull study and future details ,IF compares to the Candidates we have, obama look more promising then having an old man with old Ideas worst of all,the Lobbyist plan.

  • Posted By: maramara @ 06/27/2008 2:44:41 AM

No, MCBUSH is not realistic. How can an old man grow again? He simply wants top get votes. I followed the speech and I have read your article. There is not thing here that tells me Mcbush's administration will reduce our depenceny on foreign oil. We accept nuclear plants but the quantity he is planning to put in place is a call for concern. Obama's energy plan remains the best. We need to invest on biofuels, wind, solar to diversify our energy sources and thats what Obama is proposing. We the environmentalist will never vote for Mcbush. He can change a million times, we already know who he is.

45 new nuclear power plants, that is easy to say. Where are they going to be built? Who is going to pay for them? Where will the nuclear waste material from them be stored? Someplace in McCain's Arizona? It is not a "grown up" plan until we know and are able to analyze the details.

So just because Obama brought his plan forward back in Octobor we shouldn't care about his plan, I guess since the last time McCain had a view other than Bushs was over two years ago we shouldn't care about him either.

We are considered "adults" when we reach 18 - no matter how you spin things, John McCain is an old man, too old to be running for president. He has a problem with younger people because he doesn't relate to them or their problems. It's more than a generational problem, he's out of touch with them and most generations inbetween. No matter how you spin his "grown-up"energy plan, it's only a temporary fix, will take at least ten years or more to implement and will not solve the energy crisis in this nation.
