People, don't be like Harriet Christian, the racist who went on t.v. and said her racial slurs and her hatred for Obama winning the nomination. We need to unite. Harriet Christian don't care about the young men and women in this world because she is not going to be around that long. How old is she, 90? Do the right thing people. Even economist said that McCain's plan will send us to more problems. Remember, McCain has Carly Fiorina as his economic adviser. Google her. She is the wrong one.

Keep trying to unite because it's never gonna happen. For everyone 1 Clinton Dem voting for McCain, Obama will have to bring in 2 new voters to break even. All your Clinton hatred and venom Obama supporters spewed is going to come back and bite you. Karma is a mother ain't it?

The very first line of Mr. Fineman's article ends with the tidbit "the advance team put "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)" on the sound system." This apparant slight against Clinton was bad enough and I hope Obama takes appropriate action.* However, throughout the article there were reports of essentially positive information, followed either by Mr. Fineman's personal asides or slights towards either Clinton or Obama.

Did anyone else notice this? Mr. Fineman, please clean your glasses. The world is a very beautiful place without that heavy film of grey on it.

*The News Media, of course, had to add insult to injury by publishing it...lead sentence, no less.

      Are you nuts?

      You must be!

"Signed, Sealed and Delivered" has been Obama's campaign theme song for the past 17 months. It wasn't just pulled from mothballs for this event.

Why don't you get your facts straight before you post drivel?

Gee, Mr. Fineman must have had a different vantage point. I was there all day and didn't hear any boos. Also, the campaign plays the Stevie Wonder song at the end of every event that I've watched on CNN live video. I always thought that "Signed, Sealed, and Delivered" referred to him. Strange how pundits see events differently from actual participants. I read another really strange post on ABC's website to which I posted my take on the event. I repeat: " In case anyone is interested in an assessment from someone who in Unity all day, I didn't see or hear one angry exchange. Mr. Tapper didn't emphasize the overall event and went on to take a conversation with 2 people to make a point - one I didn't get. I did hear a voice in the distance make comment twice but couldn't make out the words so can't say if comments were negative or positive. The crowd was happy and congenial. Many Hillary supporters wore her campaign pins along side their new Obama pins. I even saw, and shook the hand, of a proud Viet Nam vet wearing a tee-shirt that said "Marine and Lifelong Republican for Obama".

After the event, there was a long wait (about 2 hours, weather was great so it wasn't unpleasant) and folks were talking and sharing stories. There were people there of all ages - little kids, students, seniors. People were hopeful that Obama would be the next president and their issues would be addressed. If reporters from ABC found "disunity", then they either sought it out or, by their line of inquiry, encouraged it between these two women.
The local folks were great from the Kiwanis Club who provided the food/beverages to the bus drivers to the people who just chatted with us from their porches as the lines slowly curled through the town square to the ball field. Nice town. Nice event."

Thank you, Citizen45, you should have written the article instead of Mr. Fineman.

Mr. Fineman, it is all about how you choose to see the world.

This is unity for you. Obama supporters trying to shut down any and all opposition to him.

the truth is that obama need hilary, whether he likes it or not. I have been frustrated with his continued digs towards her, and hope he is recognizing his need.

What will the media report when the election is over? Will there be no more useless dribble printed? Will there be reeal issues covered rather then a politcal a"love fest"? Wat will CNN do? Election coverage makes up most of their primetime programming. Will they actually go back to reporting real news? There is real news in this election cycle but it never seems to be covered. To boring I guess. Why present facts and figures when we can cover personalities?

I have always been an Independant and have always voted for the candidate I liked best. I supported Hillary Clinton in the primary, not because she is a woman, but because I liked what she stood for. For the first time in many years there was a candidate I wanted to vote for. I didn't like Bush/Gore and I did not like Bush/Kerry. Now we are down to the same type of election as the last 2 Obama or McCain. There are many Clinton supporters who are also independants and will not just support Obama even if Hillary campaigns for him!! I also think Obama should not ask Clinton to be V.P. I think Obama needs to find someone he did not run aginst. John Kerry I think would be a great V.P. choice for Obama!! They think alike, and Kerry has been on his side since he started to run, it would show a united front!!

It's nice that Hillary is backing up Barack. But what does America think of her as Vice President? Find out at http://www.votenic.com The only 2008 Presidential Election Weekly Poll run by a kid.
