You "President's who were General's" Question is Incorrect. Zackary Taylor was a general during the Mexican-American War and Andrew Jackson was a general during the First Seminole War. Making for a total of 5 Presidential Generals.

Is this a Global LIteracy test or a test of speed reading?

  • Posted By: ericjohnsonvik @ 10/01/2008 7:17:52 AM

This test sucks. It's more of a test of how fast you can read.

I don't think this test was very credible. I know alot about art and who says that knowing the amount
they sold for is a test of knowledge. Knowing why they were important is a better test for Francis Bacon
and for art in general. This test was made for collectors of facts not deeper thinkers.

87? Shockingly low -- are you a candidate? (Ignorant as I am, I got 2750...)
(And I, too, can see Russia from my house!)

87 is shockingly low -- are you really someone else? (I, ignorant as I am, got 2570)...
(I, too, can see Russia from my back window.)

With a score of 87, I'm certainly smart enough to be Vice President - and I can't even see Russia from my house!

Is "smart enough for the U.S. Senate" a compliment? Seriously, is it?

  • Posted By: terry2toes @ 09/23/2008 11:15:11 AM

It is not a book I need. Questions were related to movies & television. Need to quit reading & start watching. Terry

Verwy interesting, but not all true. Thanks for the entertainment value, however!

Very interesting........but not all questions are fact. Thank you for the entertainment value, however!

Trashy MSM trivia, you mean. This is what is WRONG with global literacy, and why Americans are becoming less literate every year.

Your "presidents who were generals" question is hugely wrong. You list only Washington, Grant, and Eisenhower. But Rutherford B. Hayes, Zachary Taylor, Andrew Jackson and William Henry Harrison were also "generals" (with various modifiers - Major General, Brigadier General, Brevet Lieutenant General, etc.).
Now who's been taking the web too seriously? If you're going to taunt people, get your stupid facts right!

quiet good but i can understand the technical yhings which are support the countrys economy................
well no clear idea abt reall westeren economy...............................

The question about generals is wrong. Zachary Taylor was also a general, so there are at least four.

Are you that under-educated, Trooper? Fundamental/Extremist Muslims may be taught in very bent ways...but the majority of the Islam religion believes in peace, and live very loving and accepting lives. Your closed-minded, spewing of hatred and fear confound me. Get a clue!
