Comment: Slaughterhouse 5 was his masterpiece. It was also very sad. A very appropriate book for this sad time when leaders posture, the rich look out for themselves, and Western Civilization crumbles.
Comment: Kurt, thanks for surviving all these years until recently despite the German, American, and Russians efforts to kill you! With your many books and your unique irony, humor, and intelligence you are a German-American treasure!
