Obama: Christian, Not Muslim

    Comment: I was curious since Hussein Obama would be considered the first African American elected president at 6.25% African American, does that make me a Mexican American at 12.5%? Does that mean that I get to check the box mexican american for job apps or credit apps? Does this mean that I will get special aid or even grants for being part of a minority? I'm sick of the media calling him African American. The man is and would be if elected, the first Arab-american president. How does this sound, " And we welcome to the stage our 44th President of the United States of America, Barak Hussain Obama," sorry it just doesn't sit right with me.

    According to Muslim law or Koren whatever they call it, if a Muslim converts to Christianty he is to be put to death. So, if Hussain Obama was Muslim and converted to Christianty and he really is a practicing Christian then how come the leader of Hamas and the leader of Iran support Obama and have openly said they hope he gets elected. Why are muslims supporting Obama by the thousands??? Doesn't it all seem a bit weird?

    Comment: Yes he sat through a class of muslim religious studies, get your story straight, he was enrolled as a muslim as Barry Sotoro in Jakarta Indonesia by his step father. This fact does not matter and is irrelevant. His father was a muslim and in the Arab world and under Islamic law the son of a muslim is and will always be a muslim. This fact, also does not matter and is irrelevant. The fact that Obama did not tell the whole truth, that is the problem. I thought honesty still mattered in America. I hope people realize the patter of half truths Obama is dishing.

    Comment: It is common knowledge that the father of Muhammad was Abdallah; and his mother, Amina. Muhammad was a man born of an acknowledged father and a respected mother. Neither the Quran nor Muslim scholars claim that Muhammad was born in a supernatural way. His birth was not announced by an angel, nor was he born by the Word of God. He was born in a natural way as we all are, from a human father and a human mother.

    As for Christ, the Quran states several times that He was not born in the normal way, as we are. His Father was not a human being. He was conceived in the Virgin Mary without the interference of a human father, for Allah breathed His spirit into her. This makes Christ - exclusively - the only one in the whole world who was born of the Word of God and His spirit.

    Truly, the Messiah, Isa, Son of Mariam, the ambassador of Allah, is His word that He bestowed upon Mariam; and He is Spirit of Him (Women 4:171).

    We breathed in her of our Spirit (The Prophets 21:91).

    We breathed in Him of our Spirit (The Forbidding 66:12).

    Christ is not a usual man, but the divine Spirit incarnated in human flesh. Thus He was born of the Spirit of God and the Virgin Mary. In contrast, Muhammad was born of a father and a mother, like all humans. He was not born of the Spirit of God.

    (CNN) ??? Planned Parenthood Action Fund is launching a new ad Wednesday in crucial battleground states set to highlight a campaign trail moment John McCain would rather soon forget.

    The 30-second spot aimed at women voters shows McCain's apparent unease when a reporter asked him last week whether it was unfair that some insurance plans covered Viagra and not birth control.

    "Ever use birth control? Than you'll want to hear this," the ad's narrator states before a flustered McCain is shown saying, "I don't know enough about it to give you an informed answer."

    Planned Parenthood spokesman Tait Sye says the ad will run in Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Washington, D.C. during television programs popular with women ??? including Wednesday's season premier of "Project Runway" and "Army Wives" on Lifetime. It will also air during Oprah in some markets.

    The group is hoping this issue in particular resonates with the broad swath of the women voters McCain is trying to court ??? according to one study Planned Parenthood cites 98 percent of sexually active women have used at least one form of birth control.

    The off-message moment stemmed from a comment by a member of McCain???s own team: national co-chairwoman Carly Fiorina, who had said earlier women often express frustration over the fact many health insurance plans cover Viagra but not birth control medication.

    A McCain spokesman later said the Arizona senator supported competition in the healthcare industry, presumably allowing women to nix policies that cover Viagra but not their specific needs.

    Comment: Islam is not even a religion. Its an ancient spiritual following that emerged from these nomadic Arabic tribes in the Middle East and they're still stuck 2,000 years back in time !! Jesus Christ's legal father was Joseph...no one knows who was the physical father of Jesus Christ...hence the Gospels written by Matthew, Mark , Luke and John describe the birth of Jesus as a spirit bestowed upon Mary...the God our Father..Jesus referred to Joseph as his father because he held him in high regard. Jesus is the Son of God..the Holy Father...no connection here to Allah..as some of these dumb Arabs / Muslims insinuate....One God..the father of Jesus Christ...there is no bloody relation to Mohammed...so get that thru your thick skulls ! Want proof of Christianity....just go to Rome...just go to Jerusalem..and there you will see the proof. Saint Paul is buried in Rome..he's one of the 12 Apostles remember ?.....Saint Peter...the first Pope of Roman Catholic Christianity is entombed in the Vatican...he too was one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus. Those freaks like Barack Hussein Obama and all these other weird evangelists in my mind are not Christian either.       Secondly, St. Paul was NOT one of the original twelve apostles. Look it up. Paul (then Saul) was a presecuter of all Christians, including the apostles, until he saw the light.

    I have read to my amazement how my name and a name of a prominent attorney in Palm Springs California are thought to be one and the same. I wish I was an attorney some days; I have never taken the bar exam.and the middle initials of his name and my name are different.

    Gay marriage = sin. Period. I love this one. go to YouTube and search McCain v. McCain, you can see that if the wind blows that way, he supports "gay marriage"and then only a short 11minutes later, he does not, so is he for it, or a liar?

    Racism = Sin. Period. Understand that racism is not just a WHITE and BLACK issue, In McCain's case it very much a brown and yellow issue. The man can not grasp the difference between Sunni and Shia, perriod. He does not even know who he wants to kill in Iraq, and when asked about Kurds his response was "WHAT THE HELL IS A KURD?!"

    Lieing = sin. Period. So what would you call standing before a group of American POWs and swearing if they voted for him he would "NEVER" use his status as a "POW" for political gain? he is a sinner you're right.

    Selfishness = sin. Period. This is a big issue for McCain, he divorced his 1st wife(sin) as she was poor and only weeks later married his RICH PLASTIC WIFE. He was involved in one of the most criminal bank corruption scandlas in the 80's Google "The Keating 5" and there you'll see just what McCain stands for.

      Thank you also for ignoring where I cited the Bible on war and how it is NOT murder. God gives and he takes away. Something you should realize is that war is one of his methods of doing so.

      As for McCain, lets ge tone thing straight.

      He is not a perfect candidate. No, he has many faults, just as Obama does.

      But when it comes down to what is most important to me, my Christian beliefs, EVEN THOUGH McCain flip flops on some of them, his party is WAY more conservative and upholding of those beliefs than Obama's, and I have already pointed out why Obama himsself doesn't fit for me.

      That's my vote, and it wont change because you are hounding me on your own interpretation of the Bible. I know where I stand with God and I know what is righteous in these regards, and though McCain does not fit it perfectly, he fits it way more than Obama ever will.

      You have your reasons for Obama. I have merely given my opinion as to why I think Obama should not be claiming to be Christian. Differs of opinion. In the end it is my dutie to love people, something that you seem to be preaching about with anti-war. So, I love you, even though I don't know you, and I hope the best for you. I hope and pray that you will realize the truth about abortion, and that you will come to a better understanding of the scripture.

With Obama we will go into recession UNTIL we see those results, and just to let you in on a little known fact, the next-best resource to oil is wind-power, and ALL the windpower in the world could only account for 2% of the US's energy consumption. What would Obama say about that, I wonder? No doubt he'd quickly try and think up something, because, as he was quoted saying "I am not like Bush with preconcieved notions, ignoring facts", he truelly IS like Bush in that way, as he clearly knows very little about many important facts, the economy, world relations, and the energy status.

          You say I am the vast minority but you are mislead in thinking so... why do you think Obama is trying to come across as Christian anyways? He needs our votes to have any chance of winning. But this is one who is not buying his stage act.

    This word is thrown around by many people these days, but seldom do any of them truelly understand what it means.

    Christian means you believe that Jesus Christ(hence Christian) is your savior and through Him only can you go to Heaven, not by works, by faith. Now that doesn't mean that works aren't needed for faith. On the contrary, as Paul states in Romans, good works are the completion of faith. Show me someone without works who has faith. Doesn't exist.

    Thus the qualifications of being Christian extend further than belief in Jesus Christ as savior but also include having teh WANT and the STRUGGLE to uphold what is RIGHTEOUS and good. It DOES NOT mean you have to have no sin, FALSE. The whole concept of Christianity is that man is sinful and condemned to death, but that Christ rescues us from that.

    Therefore, a TRUE Christian would hold Christian morals in high regard.

    That means:

    Abortion = murder. Period.

    Gay marriage = sin. Period.

    Racism = Sin. Period.

    Lieing = sin. Period.

    Selfishness = sin. Period.

    Yet Obama is FOR abortion, FOR gay marriage, he proves EVERY DAY how selfish he is, and his quote "Christian" spiritual leader for the last 20 years is one of the most racist people in America.

    As a devout Christian struggling the good fight for salvation, I cannot look at Obama with any respect. He throws around what is dearest to me, my religion, and tries to claim that he will support what I hold important. Rubbish. Plain clear flat out rubbish. His principles are anti-Christian in every way.

    He may not be muslim but he sure as hell isn't Christian with what he is telling voters.

    This CHRISTIAN will vote for McCain for the hope of upholding what I hold dearest, and what the world needs a lot more of.

            Secondly, you should not quote scripture to me when you very easily cast it aside and only use it out of context that suits you. The Bible says to give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's, and give to God what is God. It therefore shows that fighting a war is NOT murder. WHY do you think so many wars were waged in the old testament for Israel and the protection of His people?             Your claims that I don't love life because I support war are also poorly based. The reason that wars are fought are for the love of life. Protection of the people. You obviously are oblivious to the fact that 90% of America's wars have been about protecting innocent people that are getting 1.) Slaughtered by genocide or 2.) Put into a sense of fear every day, in which case the Iraq war has been fought, because Sadaam had all his people so afraid of the chemical weapons he had in the past, that they believed his lies to them that he had them still, and it kept them under his thumb.

            If you don't see any problem with that and would rather us sit back and let everything like that happen, including the genocides in Somalia, the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and such, then it is clearly YOU who do not have love of life, not to mention your obvious pro-abortion standpoint.
