Dear KatJones, you are so right. Of the many millions of Muslims in the world, only an infitesmally small percent are terrorists. Most Muslims are peaceful God-fearing people who want to live moral lives.

I personally think it would not matter if Obama was a Muslim, I would vote for him anyway because he is the best candidate, and being Black or being Muslim or having big ears could never alter the fact that he is the best candidate.

However, given the fear mongering against Muslims that Bush has indulged in ever since 9/11, it would be unlikely that the USA would elect a Muslim President. This rumor about Obama being a Muslim is just more BS brought to you by Bush, Rove & Company. You should be afraid, very afraid of Muslims. You should be so afraid of Muslims that you will not speak out when we take away your civil rights, read your mail, wiretap your phones and imprison you for years without being charged or tried. You should be so afraid of Muslims that you will pay $10 for a gallon of gasoline, and you will look the other way when it is proven that Bush's economic policies (NOT the OPEC nations) caused the price increase. You should be so afraid of Muslims that when the National Debt skyrockets so high that even our great grandchildren will still be paying it, that you will not only say nothing, but vote for McCain, who will make the economy even worse. You should be so afraid of Muslims that when Bush borrows $5 trillion from COMMUNIST China, and increases our trade deficits and defaltes our dollar, you should say "Oh, even though Bush has done this, he had to do it, because of the Muslims." You should be so afraid of the Muslims that you will ignore the fact that the Halliburton corporation is controlled and owned by Bush's VP Cheney, and that all of the Iraq contracts have gone to Halliburton subsidiaries, enriching Cheney and his friends. Here is what I think about them or anyone who feels threatened by a religion: Crying about another threat are we? Seems like some from the Church of England are not doing so well competing with Islam eh? From what I hear there are some other constituencies feel ???threatened??? by Islam as well? Pity. However, what is the principle? ??? Ah yes, its Supply and Demand isn???t it? Can't have a spread of any community without a popular demand for it, now can we? What to do? ??? Prevent the competition from building more facilities. Restrict them: Brilliant!! Wonderful idea!! I just wish we could get away with it in America. But alas, at least for the time being, here in the good old USA if our competitor is more in demand than we are ..... We may simply go out of business. Yikes!! Obama is by far the media???s favorite in this election, he can do no wrong. I don't know what the general public sees in this guy but he has them all fooled. Newsweek and the editors of the media outlet have to print a story like this to protect their investment. Obama is dollar signs to the media because people will watch the networks and read their articles generating MONEY MONEY and more MONEY. The entire election process so for is full of S...T.. on the sole purpose that things are not even. You have one candidate calling for change and yet use the same principles that we are all use to seeing, and he is perceived as the great hope for America. And the other candidate expressing the need for America to tackle some real issues such as the economy, the energy crisis and globalization and he get a footnote if he???s lucky.

America can be dumb if they want to be. The people can elect a guy in office who is far less experience and will drive for higher taxes if they want too, but if and when that happens be ready for whatever develops which will be inflation and I will be smiling because I told you so.. Or we can take the high road and go with the smart choice and be safe. A far as Obama being Christian, until the election is over he will say anything that will get him into office. The guy was born into the Muslim faith and will forever have some ties to the Muslim faith. I have studied the faith and it???s just as thoughtful as the next, but it carries baggage and Obama doesn???t want that. I wonder will he leave his Muslim grandmother in the village if he becomes president or bring her to the White House in from of the cameras? If he does maybe she will say she???s Christian too.

If I was a Muslim I would be deeply offended by this man because he would of bear the same name as I would have according to faith and yet he wants nothing to do with me. Come on people wake up. A Muslim can do nothing for Obama but vote for him and pay higher taxes for him because that all they are good for, and this is suppose to be our leader wow some CHANGE in what I should believe in. We as Americans can blame no one but ourselves for not rebuilding our cities to make them more advances and re-educating our workers whose jobs are lost of overseas markets. The fact that Newsweak is so hell-bent on stating that Obama is a Christian, not a Muslim, makes me think that he probably really is a Muslim!

Obama may not be Muslim but he sure studied their religion, both with hes father and in Indonesia.
