Re: Barrack Obama Christian Faith
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
I have been dismayed by the constant attacks of Senator Obama???s Christian faith. As an evangelical Pastor in Cleveland Ohio with theological training from Kenya and United States of America and a close knowledge of the Senator???s father???s side of the family, I have to restate one again that Senator Barrack Obama is a Christian and has never been a Muslim. He took a step of faith and made a personal commitment to Christ and has lived that way.
Senator Barrack Obama grandfather, the late Mzee Hussein Onyango Obama was a Christian of catholic faith but became a Muslim while serving in the second world with the British army in Egypt and Burma. His original name was George Lucas Obama. Grandpa Obama brother, the late Zakayo Obillo was a Pastor in the seventh day Adventist church in Kendu Bay.
Senator Obama???s father, the late Dr. Barrack Hussein Obama was an agnostic. He married four times to Christian women and gave all his children Christian names not Moslem names; his children names are as follows: Roy Abongo Obama, Rita Auma Obama, Barrack Obama (Senator), Mark Okoth Obama, The late David Opiyo Obama and George Were Obama. All his children attended in Sunday school in Woodley estate Nairobi except for senator Obama who was not born in Kenya and did not live there. The late Dr. Obama, the senator???s father at his request was buried in most expensive coffin and suit contrary to Moslem faith.
I trust you will share with others the truth regarding Senator???s heritage and personal faith and membership in the body of Christ

Barack Obama has never been Muslim and never practiced Islam. But rumors about his religion intended to frighten some voters persist, and they mostly return to one point of fact: his name. "Barack" is the candidate's Kenyan father's name; Obama's middle name, "Hussein," is his grandfather's name. Hussein embraced Islam—after first converting to Christianity under the name "Johnson." According to Obama's memoir, Hussein valued discipline and strength and found Christian forgiveness to be sentimental. Obama has described his father as atheist or agnostic. His Kansan mom, whose grandparents were devout Protestants, lived a secular life. Obama's only personal contact with Islam came as a boy when he moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, with a stepfather who mixed his Islam with Hindu and Animist traditions. In five years there, Obama attended a Roman Catholic school, then a public elementary school, where he sat through a class each week of religious studies. As an adult, Obama turned to Christianity in the late '80s in Chicago, at Trinity United Church of Christ, where he was baptized, married—and baptized his kids. As a new U.S. senator, Obama took his oath on the family Bible.
