I guess earthquakes and tsunamis are being caused by global warming too. I can make a better case that high gasoline prices are being created by global warming than bad weather being caused by global warming.

If you actually did some research, you would know that a 100-year storm event does not mean that a storm of 100-year magnitude has the chance of happening once every 100 years. This is called statistics people!! The term 100-year storm means that a storm of that magnitude has a 1 in 100 chance of ocurring EVERY YEAR! Whoever you are, you obviously need to take some Civil Engineering Hydrology classes, that way you would know that these types of storms just happen, it's all probability.
