In the midsts of War, Politics and inflation comes a little humor.

This one is entitled "ARAB'S RUNAWAY CODE"

Do you remember how long it took the United States to find Sadam Hussein, well blame it on the
US search Dogs. What really happened was, the United States gave the Irqais soldiers a few search dogs to help find Sadam Hussein; the problem is in Iraq dogs are not a man's best friend. The Iraqis soldiers got smart and gave the dogs an ARAB'S RUNAWAY CODE; when the dogs heard this code they were supposed to runaway. The Iraqis soldiers secretly passed the code to Sadam Hussein while he was in hiding.
Now once the dogs had found Sadam Hussein, he immediately said the ARAB'S RUNAWAY CODE in a deep voice, " BUSH - I - AM; the dogs panic and ran away.
BUSH - I - AM; the gogs panic and ran away.

Well, ladies and gents. Obama is the one who looks like the common Chicago machine politco he is. His fundraisers have more dirt on them than a corpse in a graveyard. Look at his pal Rezko who helped him buy his property and did fundraisers for him. Convicted. How about the even worse compatriot of Rezko, Auchi, who conveniently slipped Rezko about the amount of money spent on the Rezko/Obama property buy

    • Posted By: metzlerd @ 06/30/2008 8:54:55 AM

So do you think Rezko looks dirty? What does that have to do with the election?
According to you everybody in Chicago is dirty because they lived in the same town as a guy named Tony Rezko who did some bad stuff.

For those who believe in truth after 8 years of lies and decdeit and to see that Both parties are corrupt, Here is an article from FactCheck.org, an organization which supports neither party. This article is why we need a revolution in this country to take back our country from the pandering and lying and corrupt politicians:

Why do candidates pander? Look at the voters and you have your answer. Most people are not very bright and they cast their votes based on what they perceive a candidate's personality to be. The issues have little effect on their decision because they can't understand them. So, you have Hillary knocking back drinks and Barack trying to bowl, both of them looking equally silly and ill at ease. But this impresses the mental lightweights. It's extremely unfortunate that our electoral process should hinge on our candidates groveling before people who don't know enough to come in out of the rain, but that's the way it is. The way it SHOULD be is this: No one is allowed to vote until he or she can pass an extensive exam in the structure and function of American government. Yes, this would "disenfranchise" a huge percentage of the population, but this country would be the better for it. Will it happen? Never in a million years.......unfortunately.

Things are so different. When Obama opt out of public financing he decided to count on OUR PEOPLE support and NOT to use OUR MONEY. Thank You for this decision. You could not compare this change with McBush's flip flop on EVERY issue.
    See the difference.

Obama does not flip-flop, he lies.

    • Posted By: desertgirl @ 06/30/2008 2:05:15 AM

No, he clarifies and qualifies and evolves. Only non-Democrats (and Bill Clinton) lie.

  • Posted By: Lest We Forget @ 06/30/2008 1:49:23 AM

Obama doesn't need public financing. After all, hes got the media in his back pocket. I can't seem to watch the news or even read without being bombarded by articles of him AD NAUSEUM. Its gotten so bad that after 15 years, I've cancelled my subscription to my local newspaper, The St. Petersburg Times. Sorry, but I will not be 'brain washed' by them into voting for this man!

  • Posted By: oparoberts @ 06/30/2008 1:44:31 AM

Flip-flops are exacerbated by media "gotchas". Everything, everything, is in evolution; attempts to embarass candidates about their evolving positions naturally causes them to defend. I certainly would not want to be living my life by all the views I held 15-20 years ago. Did our nation not want Pres Bush to change his course on IRAQ? It's abundantly clear.....the difference between pandering and logically explained changes in position. .....use of the term "flip-flop" simply adds to government dysfunction.

John Kerry lost in 2004 because he "seemed like a phony." ???? There's yet another new theory on that subject. Give me a break. The whole deal in 2004 was Iraq. Kerry had a big long plan for stablilizing and "winning" the war in Iraq, and James Baker's Iraq Study Group adopted almost the entire plan 2 years later and called it their own. But did the American people KNOW about Kerry's plan for Iraq in 2004 ?? ONLY if they went to John Kerry's Website. The TV news networks were Not Interested in kindly passing along Kerry's Iraq plan to the people. As Wolf Blitzer said of Kerry's plan back then, "it doesn't matter, because he has the same Goal as President Bush." (i.e. to "win" the war and stablilize Iraq) So you see, if Kerry had gone Against the majority of Americans and advocated pulling the troops Out of Iraq back in '04, then good ol' Wolf might've gotten excited enough to talk about Kerry's view on Iraq. Some of the self-isolating, willfully ignorant activists I campaigned with in '04 Also believed Kerry should've advocated bringing the troops home in '04, and they actually felt they were holding their nose to support him. (One liberal college professor actually told me at an activists' meeting in 2003 (!) that he thought Bush was "making it easy" for Democrats to beat him !). I wonder
how many of those idiots actually thought most Americans were against the Iraq War in '04 just because all their own friends were against it. This lack of passion born out of political ignorance among Democratic activists was also a bigger factor in '04 than Kerry's so-called "phony" ness. It's not even a sure thing that Kerry lost anyway ! He most likely lost the popular vote, but he probably won Ohio and the Electoral College, which is all you need to become president. We'll never know because then-Ohio governor Blackwell refused to allow a state-wide recount. The TV networks just decided those Election Day polls showing Kerry winning just had to have been all wrong, and that we should all shut up and trust whatever results the states reported. That was the Authoritarian Era of American History : 2001-2005. ("Do as your government says" so we can be a strong country - that was the message I got) It's a minor miracle that Kerry even came CLOSE to winning. As David Gergen said, Kerry ran "a heck of a campaign" when nobody thought he had a shot at beating Bush.

Oh, if only the American media had shown a tenth of the skepticism they display toward Obama to the Bush administration's weapons of mass destruction claims.

Ooops accidentally submitted before completing the sentence.

That Auchi who gave the appropriate amount of money to Rezko the week before the home purchase was the bag man/money launderer for Saddam Hussein.

Our clean, fresh Obama does indeed have more dirt on him than a corpse in the cemetary.

To "Notroubleatall1963:" Did you REALLY say "Let Iran have its nuclear weapons?" How naive can you get? True, other countries have nuclear weapons, but those countries don't want nuclear war because they don't really want to die. Ahmadinejad of Iran, on the other hand, has publicly said he wants to bring on Armageddon to hasten the return of the "Hiddin Mahdi!"

I have a suggestion. Let's make an amendment to the constitution that mandates that the primaries and the general election last no more than two months each! If a candidate cannot convince me to vote for him/her in 60 days they are never going to convince me! After reading so many negative and downright hate in these comments (yes HolyRoller I'm refering to you among others!) I'm thinking more and more that this is a great idea!
    Any takers?

    Mc Ancient, holy.
    Doddering.
He can't remember his spouse's name, so he calls her by her plumbing.
    You know. Down there.
He was presidential material when Rove and Co. wrongfully slathered him in excrement in 2000.
Now, it's too late. Remember Reagan, late in the day, trying to remember the question and Nancy standing beside him giving the answer without moving her lips. We all saw it and heard it on national TV. It's sad when it's your president. It's the synapses, holy, in between the brain cells that allow things to travel through the brain at brain speed that gradually disappear. We don't want him to be disgraced standing before the world trying to remember Mrs. Mc Cain's name ever again. Ever. Have mercy on him, holy. Don't try to get him elected. Leave him alone in peace.

I think your comments are about obama. Right?

  • Posted By: J.Richter @ 06/29/2008 10:52:34 PM

Please read exactly his actual words on the issue. He was never against individual right to bear arms. He simply supported the right of DC to place limitations on those rights as would benefit their local community and address their specific environment (local determination). Now, when he campaigned in Montana he made it clear that their situation was different and he did not oppose their right to bear arms or hunt and same as in PA (remember the tiff over the wording of clinging to guns and religions as a voting issue when government had failed time and again to deliver on economic ones).

Considering that there has never been a ruling on the issue since it was placed in the consitution in late 1800s, the interpretation must now simply be brought into consonant with what local authorities and law enforcement can place limit to for public safety. His rlatest statement was not a jump up salute of it either he wimply said the ruling affirms the right but does not prohibit local authorities in absolute terms... get the exact wording. Its nothing close to being characterized as a 180 unless you take the summary of the news agencies rather than read the actual individuals themselves.
