SURVEY METHODOLOGY
NEWSWEEK Poll conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International. Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,010 adults, 18 years and older, nationwide. Interviewing was conducted June 18-19, 2008. The overall margin of sampling error is plus or minus 4 percentage points for results based on all adults and the sub-sample of 896 registered voters. Results based on smaller subgroups are subject to larger margins of sampling error. In addition to sampling error, the practical difficulties of conducting surveys can also introduce error or bias to poll results.
