it amazes me just how racists some of the bloggers in here are. They see no wrong or original sins perpetrated by their ancestors. In your "Crusades" to spread christianity to the new worlds you subjugated untold masses, usually at the end of a gun. Now you sit back and cry when those same people seek to determine their own futures. Your indignation is ONLY surpassed by you greed and evil piety. Lest we forget, most of this evil was done in the name of god. Whos God???

This is the sad state of affairs throughout Africa. The blacks are all infected with the "big man syndrome" - they want to be considered important no matter how many others have to suffer, die or starve. Take Mugabe, for example - despite hundreds of millions in net worth, he will turn a blind eye to his starving people, even though he could feed them all personally. Why? Because he is the Big Man and if he gives his money away, then others will be bigger and he will be smaller. It's a perverse way of thinking that destroys societies, but it is the African way. Why do you think societal things like law are so expendable throughout the continent? Laws get in the way of making yourself bigger. Right vs wrong? Pshaw - it's all about big versus small. This is the jungle, baby - eat or be eaten. And the bigger you are, the more likely you're eating rather than being eaten.

I've heard that in some African languages, there is no word for "we" or "us". To express that concept they say "me and my people" or refer to their tribe or group by name (e.g. "the hutus", "people in Harare"). I'm not a linguist, but if its true then that is a sad reflection of their mindset.

I like "Kingcroat" 's idea : Let's separate the whites from the blacks. Oh! wait, THAT was the idea behind apartheid, and now we can see that after a mere 14 years of black rule, it WAS and still IS A GOOD IDEA, because nobody can live under black rule, not even the blacks themselves. As "Universal" says : "they have not contributed anything of substance".

First of all it is absurd to compare Hitler to Mugabe. Hitler didn't systematically destroy germany. The allies did. Firthermore Hitler ws ythe prime reason fro germany being rescued from that vengeful Versailles treaty. Remember WWI ended in an armistice NOT a German surender yet the hate filled Allies threw the book at them. No wonder there was a WWII. As to Zimbabwe it was the idiot West , the U.S. and Britain, anxious to demonstrate their championing of "minority' causes.that put Mugabe and others his ilk in power at the expense of their own peoples! Black Africa is basically a dysfuntional region. What can one expect from a peoples that have never had any semblance of civilization including a written language? Their entire existence is a Western fraud! Everything that they have acquired, including the trappings of a modern world ,are from the West. They have contribiute nothing of substance. If the Europeans in Africa had done to the African Negro what the Europeans in America did to the native inhabitants there wouldn't be a"Black" problem in Africa because there would be very few left to bother with and there certainly wouldn't be a Mugabe problem. As it is Negro Africa needs to be dealt with and a re-colonization wouldn't be a bad idea because the $trillions of Western aid and groveling has made matters worse!

I for one am so sick of hearing about racial issues. The best soultion is for whites to seperate themselves from blacks. How many more people will have to lose their lives on both parts. It's simple and by far the best soultion.

Honestly though, how do you live out in such an incredibly uncivilized country and not own at least a few automatic weapons to defend yourself with? I don't want to say that the Freeth guy brought this on himself, but when you live in a place surrounded by animals (and i'm not talking about the wildlife); you need to protect yourself and your family.

Hopefully he'll have learned his lesson and be better prepared for the future...by moving out of that hell hole.

We should feel sorry for anyone dying needlessly white or black. Also, you have both good and bad in ALL races. But lets be fair here. The land that these farmers now live on was/is il gotten gain. They have no more inherent right to it than say the white man has to this counrty. One small difference is that here the Native American has no power to do anything and over there the natives are in the majority. Obvioulsy Mugabe is a thug who should be gotten rid of, but that does not chance the fact that this land was acquired thru brutality. One who lives by the sword, if you will. And BTW, Africans can and did rule themselves long before the Europeans Missionarys took it upon themselves to "Spread the Love of God" in Africa. sic.

It is apparent that discussion on a touchy subject such as this brings out the racists that are a blight on our society. You racists idiots seem to forget that we all come from the same man & woman, Adam & Eve. We are ALL related. Anyone that actually reads that strange book on your table in the sitting room called the Bible can see at what point the different races began. We were all made in the image of God. Regardless of skin color we all bleed red. If you receive a transfusion, you can not request black man or white man blood. Amazing that getting a few pints of blood will not make your future children come from the womb a different race. If you are white, you will not have chinese, black, or white children in opposition to your skin color. People, we must understand that right is right & wrong is wrong. We should not pick our rights & wrongs based on the race of those involved. I am completely colorblind. I don't have black, white, chinese, japanese, etc. friends or mentors. I have FRIENDS period. Their color does not interest me. Their love & friendship does. THE RAVEN, you my friend are a serious racist. It must be awful to have such a miserable hatred for those not of your same skin color. This kind of atrocity would not happen if EXECUTIVE OUTCOMES was still in business. This is about race. They murdered alot of white farmers and the country was productive when it was RHODESIA, but that politically correct crap put the power in African hands, and those hands RUINED it. Well it seems that history repeats its self once again. Man just cant seem to understand that we are here not to dominate one another but rather live together in harmony. But hey lets mix things up with the confsion of monitary exchange that just makes it hopeless for our youth of this world regardless of race, gender, relegion, or creed. Greed is what will distroy this world, which has led to starvation in some parts already. What I personally find overly disrespectful of humanity is the feeling of ownership, we dont own anything people its on loan, because we all have the same ultimate fate and we cant take it with us. I am a tribal native who lives on this littlemarble just like the other 6 billion or so people. We all have to eat, we all have to breath the same air that encircles us from every point on the globe, and again we all will meet the same ultimate fate. Are we all so ignorant that we cant live together in peace or do we have to show the other guy we have fuzzier dice than he does. Look I know I will be attacked by some people on this response, but come on people, there are basic fundimental laws that we all live by in this world regardless of the countries, yes some are over the top while others need some help and guidance by example. If Mugabe goons are violating laws then the UN and\or NATO needs to go in and spank thier little hineys and put them in the corner until they can cool off.

Zimbabwe is a perfect case of dictatorship run amuck...All the teenagers running around with guns and huffing there paint jars..Those decent ppl should stand up and take back what the roaming thugs are taking from them...Treat them as pirates of old...capture and hang them till the are dead...and display there bodies at town entrances as a warning there type is not welcomed....Organize and take back your cities and towns then organize a coup on that corrupt clown Mugabe...Sure some will die and be maimed but do it for the freedom or at least for your own human rights and childrens future...rather than sit, hide and die or be maimed at the hands of high teenage thugs.
