    Enough of the Republican lies and regime, anybody who is stupid enough to not see what Bush has done and the lies and nastiness of the Rebulican party is awfully dumb. We are in the worst shape in 30 years.
    The World is at a crises,the war has drained our money and caused oil prices to be so inflated. dragonfly777 should fly away if they do not know what they are talking about.

    "income taxes will go up for everyone, not just the rich" --actually under Obama's plan MY taxes would go down. Under McCain's plan, CEO of Exxon's taxes would go down. Since I'm not the CEO of Exxon, I'm gonna go ahead and vote in a way that isn't insane and vote for Obama.

    Either Republicans can not count or they are liars. They hammered John Kerry's war record and then cried like babies over Clark's statement which was honest. After eight years of Bush , endless war, the worst economy in 30 years, people out of jobs, losing their homes do republicans think this country is dumb enough to vote for another fool like McCain who has not a clue what to do. We are in sorry shape. Republicans who are to blame

Some things make more sense to do as a society and some things make more sense to do as individuals. There are plenty of countries you can go to with fewer of what you would call "socialist programs." We call them "third world countries" Go there. Enjoy.

    To sanane: There are so many reasons against turning this country into a socialist nation that space would not allow. And those reasons have made this the greatest country that the world has ever experienced. Since you would be ecstatic to live in such a "euro" environment, I thought that I would mention that France, I believe, is still accepting immigrants.

    The number of tax votes in the past doesn't matter to me. The bottom line is that Obama and his supporters want to turn this country into a euro-like socialist society. In order to do that income taxes will go up for everyone, not just the rich. Most "free medical" care countries in Europe all have high income tax, Value added taxes (25%) on all purchases, high taxes on cigs, booze and cars (it goes on and on). So is it free?
